To this
Any halp is appreciated.

That app is the Samsung Home Dock, what sadly, does not run on any devices not containing the TW framework. I've already tried it porting, no luck yet.

The App Is Called "Desk Home"
Even If It's Ported It's kinda useless...
Cannot Launch and/or Set Alarms, Launch News and finally cannot set and/or get any Weather Info at all...
As you understand many of It's features are (Hard)Linked with SGS Framework and It's accompanying Apps and Plugins
Anyways If you want only the Looks, Grab within this Post
Installs 100% and Can Be executed 100%
Tested on Vanilla/Stock Froyo N1, CM 6x, CM 6x Nightly build #2xx and #3xx

Skinning ChompSMS Widget

So I use chompSMS all the time, tried everything else around and it allows me to reply quickly to txt when i need to. Recently I been working on creating some themes but haven't got things to where I want to release them. I Bought the extended controls on market and really loved the customization. More colors would be nice but I thought using the same idea or other apps such as chomp would be great. As of right now I skinned my widget and things are not perfect but, I will get it there soon enough. Maybe at some point I could build an app that would allow you to customize these widgets and apps.
Here is a screen shot of what I did to mine. If you understand how to edit png files and install apps then the process isnt too hard. PM me if you want the instructions other wise i found the widget backgroun in /res/drawable-port-hdpi. From what I can see most things in it could be customized.

Weather and Toggle Widgets vs Beautiful Widgets

So, I've had Weather and Toggle widgets for ages...since I got my phone about a month after Launch (Epic 4g). I paid like 99c for it, so no worries there. I've lately been using minimalistic text for the time/bat stat stuff and w&tw for the weather & toggles. After search around in the market and xda I see tons of peeps using BW. I see a few themes that I like in screen caps and such but am not entirely sure if I want to switch or not... (As once I use something it's rare I switch)
So am looking for opinions on the two, the who/what/where/when etc etc

So there's the current homescreen (am running stock unrooted epic, despite homescreen)
Epic is as Epic does

Possible Sense 2.1 Status bar Modification (Read More)

Ok This idea came to me earlier today, sense 2.1 roms (Speedy ports) have a recently used apps bar in the notifications menu. Well I found a better use for it,
Instead of seeing the app you just closed why not display common everyday apps? e.g. phone, flashlight, facebook, twitter, camera. See that way you don't have to run around your UI to find what you want, It's simply a drag and drop away

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The con is this.
Making the apks run in a list and then closing (background) constantly may effect you wanting to see your recently used apps (The one where you just long press home button and it displays) those apps the first 4 or so will be which ever default you have set up. any way I'm seeking some help with this I'm not new but nor am I marinated in sense feature modifying.
So are any oldies in to assist?

Lock Screen modification question

When browsing through some Themes I have noticed some ics lock screens look like they have about 5 different apps you can launch from the lockscreen. Is that mod a zip you can flash or or is it baked into certain ROMS or is it simply a setting I am missing? I am using CM9 right now and I see no option to add more apps to launch on the lock screen.
Here is what I mean. (Sorry about size I just grabbed it from the thread)

hey there
this option is implemented in some ROMS like codename android who lets you choose up to 8 targets(4 costumizable).
other than that you can use app because there are few locker apps that does exacly that.
you can use go locker free theme:

or the paid version :

please consider hitting the thanks button if it was useful
I would also recommend Go Lockker.
It has a lot of theming options.

The Motoblur UI has taken a lot of flak for being slow, cumbersome and “downright useless” as a friend of mine succinctly put to me some time ago. It seems that things have changed for the better, at least with the Android 4.0 version of the overlay from Moto, and if you want proof of that claim, you can try now to know for yourself.
Pulled from a Droid RAZR, the launcher is now ready to be installed on any non-Motorola device, with a caveat that you should be running ICS. It has already been said to work on the HTC Sensation and other devices and there is also a choice of two launchers with different homescreen styles, so take your pick.
Head to the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1577123 thread to grab the APKs and to get some specific instructions on how to get the UI on to your Android device.
