Ok This idea came to me earlier today, sense 2.1 roms (Speedy ports) have a recently used apps bar in the notifications menu. Well I found a better use for it,
Instead of seeing the app you just closed why not display common everyday apps? e.g. phone, flashlight, facebook, twitter, camera. See that way you don't have to run around your UI to find what you want, It's simply a drag and drop away

The con is this.
Making the apks run in a list and then closing (background) constantly may effect you wanting to see your recently used apps (The one where you just long press home button and it displays) those apps the first 4 or so will be which ever default you have set up. any way I'm seeking some help with this I'm not new but nor am I marinated in sense feature modifying.
So are any oldies in to assist?

Ive come across how to activate the clock in the taskbar, but as you all know that hides/covers the battery icon. This is a major flaw in design.
Ive seen many screenshots with where people have the time then custom icons including the battery, however this seems like it would cover up the X on some applications.
Examples here.

This is how i want my taskbar to look [photoshopped]. With the original icons, with the battery and clock and room to close programmes

Im sure this tweak must be achievable.
Thanks in advance
You just need to install BattClock then configure away
Pretty sure ive tried that, and batti. Never managed to get it like i want
if i'm not wrong the so called task manager has been done away with in the new version..
i couldn't get it up too. the blank space on top left is now new taskbar or wadeva that is...?
So I use chompSMS all the time, tried everything else around and it allows me to reply quickly to txt when i need to. Recently I been working on creating some themes but haven't got things to where I want to release them. I Bought the extended controls on market and really loved the customization. More colors would be nice but I thought using the same idea or other apps such as chomp would be great. As of right now I skinned my widget and things are not perfect but, I will get it there soon enough. Maybe at some point I could build an app that would allow you to customize these widgets and apps.
Here is a screen shot of what I did to mine. If you understand how to edit png files and install apps then the process isnt too hard. PM me if you want the instructions other wise i found the widget backgroun in /res/drawable-port-hdpi. From what I can see most things in it could be customized.

Any halp is appreciated.
That app is the Samsung Home Dock, what sadly, does not run on any devices not containing the TW framework. I've already tried it porting, no luck yet.
The App Is Called "Desk Home"
Even If It's Ported It's kinda useless...
Cannot Launch and/or Set Alarms, Launch News and finally cannot set and/or get any Weather Info at all...
As you understand many of It's features are (Hard)Linked with SGS Framework and It's accompanying Apps and Plugins
Anyways If you want only the Looks, Grab within this Post
Installs 100% and Can Be executed 100%
Tested on Vanilla/Stock Froyo N1, CM 6x, CM 6x Nightly build #2xx and #3xx
the only thing i dont like is in the most recent update of the android app they added a 50 pixel bar at the top that totally wastes space. also the backwspace on the keyboard doesnt work wehn you press backspace on the dock keyboard
maybe its just because i have thumb keyboard set to my default intstead fo the asus defualt one.

the clipboard transfoers though. i uploaded that in the ics browser then copied the link from imgur and pasted it directly into the view app.
Why are you using a task killer, haven't people mentioned it enough?
The icon just hurts my eyes looking at it, just awful. You know where the problem is if your tablet starts acting up.
you could chose for ES task manager a bit more professional and a less trouble with freeze of tablet or mobile or with acting weird
There are three navigation bar types in settings, I haven't liked any of them. I only like that slider with a back button. Because one day I have installed LineageOS and really liked that navigation. I don't like any other types than this and the stock one, and I dislike that slider that only just a bar with swiping from left-right to back. Anyway, it's alone was an enough reason for me to change my official rom just for this slider-back navigation. You know after you give the kid a candy, he can't forget it. It's a very convenient, and no wonder. Navigation-bar may alone stop someone from purchasing an Iphone.
I know I went far, my simple question is. My device is magisked - Lsposed. And I'm in Stock ROM. Is there anyway I can change my navigation bar to this slider-back Thx.

Me too!
Yeah, a shame that not even goodlock can modify this behavior, i use the back button a lot in chrome because it brings up the navigation history for the specific tab
