I was wondering if there is a Epic4g based theme for the hero? I really envy the Epic's status bar/icons also the blue applications status bar, is there anyway I could flash those to my CM6.1 hero? Thanks

I would go to the Epic forum and ask the Impaler747 if he might have plans to. I know he's working on a n appfor all phones for some status bar mods.Don't know tho how in depth it is.FYI
two point blue has alot of galaxyS framework in it, if not im pretty sure somebody made a galaxyS theme not to long ago i dont know if it was ever ported to CM6.1 Stable
Heyy well I had a rom based on the epic dump with all the framework and all so if you want it ill give it to you its really good but its based on an old version of CM 6.1 nightly of October 25th if you want it tell me
Did you theme all the apps or just some, if you list the ones you modified I should be able to port it to the stable 6.1 pretty easily, if not it will just take forever to port but I can still do it

I have cyanogen 4.2.11.1 and I was wondering if you guys could reccommend one. I tried ADW Launcher. But I could not find the download. So if you guys know where to find ADW Launcher please tell me. Thanks

why dont update to 4.2.15.1??
anyway, u can find it in almost every themed rom.. download a rom u like and then extract adw launcher (launcher.apk or advancedLauncher.apk), then replace your with this one.
if u dont want have trouble, replace it using the update.zip method!! (u have need to sign the package so take a look on how to sign )
oh well thanks broski. i just updated to 5.0.7. Its way better.

Agreed! 5.0.7 test 5 is AMAAAAAZING!!! android 2.1 plus all the bells and whistles, google addons work, so far i havent found a SINGLE flaw that effects my every day heavy use of my Mytouch 3G 1.2 (rooted with Cyanogen 5.0.7 Test 5)
The theme is pretty awsome, plus the slide lock screen ROCKS!

ADW download
Hope this doesnt upset anyone but you can find the ADW download here Kaboom. SDX-Developers forum. Themes. Files. Ive been running it on my moment (rooted w/ caulkin's moment 2.1 v1.4 rom) and it hasnt given me any problems. Hope this helps and again, hope that doesnt disturb anyone. Just trying to help.
greetings all. having used redemption rom for a bit i know the quallity of heyitslou's work. so much in fact i was hesitant to switch to redemptive, kinda like contempt prior to investigation if you will. man was i being a tard. this is the hottest thing going for our dincs opening a whole new theming world to us do to the evo framework. with all the questions being asked about specific compatibility with this rom and evo themes i thought i would start a thread where we could post our experiances theming redemptive.(please excuse my typing im a chef not an office assistant.)
for myself i started with riptide9s color and clear. i love blue and his thread has some pretty cool addons too. the only problem was his theme killed the animations so i switched to pimpshits nameless blue/black theme.it is based off of riptides theme and has full animations. he like lou is contantly working to either solve individual issues or patch in requests. i even use the riptide addons as not all of them kill the animations.
so post your screenies answers, questions, etc that have to do with theming redemptive rom. also please do a thread search before you ask simple questions as the redemptive thread has a huge following and im sure its difficult to respond timely to legitimate questions. remember guys like lou and pimp**** work for free making our dincs rock so if you can please donate.
How to Make EVO themes work on Redemptive rEVOlution
How to make EVO themes work on Redemptive rEVOlution:
If you want to make EVO themes work on Redemptive rEVOlution there's only a few things to do...
If the theme includes framework-res.apk (most do) you will lose all the transitions from the Rom because this is where the files for the transitions exist this isn't a flaw in the Rom it's part of the theme. You can flash a theme with this file and it will work but if you lose your transitions that's why.
MMS: If you flash an EVO theme which includes framework-res.apk you will also lose the ability to send picture messages. I'v included this fix in the themed and un-themed versions of Redemptive rEVOlution version 1.8.
Fix for this download this app: http://bit.ly/cDzln9
Use this to delete the current apns.xml file and install a new one this will fix the MMS problem.
If the theme contains the HTC Music app or widget these will work but they won't recognize your internal storage. This is just something you'll have to live with if you want to have the themed versions or you can port the theme over to the compatible Incredible versions.
If the theme includes the PCSII.apk use 7zip if you're on windows or Ark Manager if you're on linux to delete this out of the theme's zip file. This method won't require you to have to resign the theme's zip file before you flash it. PSCII.apk is what keeps Internal storage from mounting.
These few adjustments will allow you to flash almost any EVO theme without breaking anything else.
and on a side note pimpshits theme has the external mount fix. not sure about the mms issue as i solved that through the fix posted in redemptive thread when both were having that issue.

Worked fine for me. Flashed MattedBlue over Alpha theme and all seems to be ok.
I'd still run a Nandroid though...just in case. I did. So I can flip between Alpha or MattedBlue now

Are these the updated PNG's? Over in the Nexus forums, their Galaxy metamorphs have been updated with new PNG images with more color. Ported it to my CM6.1 and they look amazing!
Very nice I really like this. I hope you keep this up to date. Flashed over the latest Nightly 153 and all seems to be working GREAT.

this might be the only one i do for a release candidate. this particular ROM version won't load past the splash screen on a reboot often. sometimes it will if i wipe cache/dalvik-cache and sometimes it won't and i'll just have to pull the battery again. if another RC doesn't release soon, i'm going back to 6.0.
Someone post screenshots

if you direct me to that thread, i can get to work on porting some of that stuff to this theme for maybe when the CM is a final release instead of release candidate.

screen shots can be found in the original thread. lockscreen clock is stock font, but that's how it's always been for me since the first theme was made for 6.0
also, for those of you flashing this over Nightlies, please understand that if there are bug fixes to apks in the CM Nightly ROMs, when you flash this theme, it overwrites those apks.
i've been on 6.1 and Nightly builds 154/155 and haven't noticed any major changes, though.

aweomse. though, you shouldn't need to flash gapps...
so i managed to find the GalaxyS theme over in the NexusOne forums. it can be seen here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709946
would you guys prefer i keep this theme as close to the original one or would you like most of the images updated to what's in the above thread? if i get too many mixed answers, i may just make a seperate one
like the way you have this one; it's fine and i have no complaints
I like yours better too.

Question...are the widgets skinned? The stock Android widgets are so ugly.
Anyone want this for CM7? I have it running on my phone:
Okay this is what I have:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/108799/mattedblues-cm-7.0.2.1-Inc.zip
It contains a full flash version 7.0.2.1 includes gapps ... tested working on mine but flash at your own risk. You can take a look at the zip and at least extract the framework.apk app and create a metamorph file perhaps? Either way, its not like this took too much work, I just do not know how to incorporate the custom apps into a theme .apk for t-mobiles app. Enjoy, leave comments, criticism, just hope it works.
You will need to disable signature check. Sorry

Yes by all means!! I was running the sense version, love it.
An .apk theme chooser yeah
Yes please!
Would love this, been wanting it for a long time.
I downloaded it from the Android Themes/Apps section, it said it was for the EVO but I downloaded it anyway. Every time I would switch off my WiFi, the phone would reboot. I removed the theme via nandroid and then I had no problems.
Good God post it already!

My guess is that the op had the evo version running on his phone, and yea the evo version will run but you will have problems since you are essentially loading evo framework on your phone. You guys are better off asking the dev to port the theme to the tmobile theme changer app. That way it'll work for everyone that has the theme chooser app installed.

You are definitely right. I will use it once it is ported since I had issues using the EVO version.
I have made a theme chooser apk today since im not a patient person. im still testing it, so anyone who wants to try it out for me, please click the link below and tell me if there are any problems or bugs. this is my first theme engine apk, so any feedback is appreciated.

*btw, i know my theme doesnt have a name or a pic. it just says @string/theme_name. the theme is still usable and looks really nice! ill fix the android manifest later if everyone gives me the thumbs up.
This theme is sick dude. An official port needs to be made! In your other post about this there's obviously a want for it. Keep it up. I'd donate.

Unfortunately, probably not. However, if you give me a link to the themed Phone.apk (or the ROM that has the one you want) I will port it for you. I updated the Phone.apk and Contacts.apk for SeanZ and it's currently in his update for the ROM.
For completeness, I can also use the themed Contacts.apk (they typically work as a pair) and port the entire dialer and calling screen (or which ever pieces you want)
