Hi, all.
I'm trying to use an external phone as modem to connect to internet. I've done it presiously with my old htc (S200), but now I'm unable to configure in some way the command that Polaris has to send to the modem. The command is +CGDCONT=1,"IP", and in my S200 also there was an option to configure the speed to connect to the modem, the parity, stop bit,
HW flow control, etc...
This option doesn't appear in Polaris. Do you know of some way to perform this configuration?.
Thanks in advance,
lince.
Hi!
No hint overthere about this issue?. I need it desperately!
TIA.
Hi
I just got a Samsung Galaxy S5 two weeks ago and I can't get the sixaxis controller to pair with my ps3 controller. It is a dual shock 3 just so you know. My phone is also rooted but running stock 4.4.2 and I really don't want to install cyanogen mod. So I plug my DS3 into my pc and install sixaxis pair tool and pair it using my phones bluetooth address. It says master updated and then i unplug it and press start on my Sixaxis controller app on my S5. I then press the PS button and the lights just keep flashing red and on my phone it is stuck on listening for controllers. I also tried pairing it with Motion In Joy and during the pairing process, if you use Motion In Joy, you have to type the bluetooth address backwards, which I did, and it still wont work.
For example, instead of 1D:4G:N9 you would type N9:4G:1D. So you type it in reverse order, not really backwards.
I tried the same thing with my rooted HTC Desire HD running 4.4.2 Cyanogen Mod 11. I did it with Motion In Joy and it worked perfectly so I know that I am typing the address backwards properly.
So my main question is, is there any way to get Sixaxis controller to work on a rooted galaxy s5 running stock 4.4.2 without cyanogen mod?
I am pretty sure the answer is no but I wanted to make sure before I install cyanogen mod. Right now it doesn't even have CWM.
Thanks in advance.

No. I just decided that I'm not gonna install cyanogen so I can't use my ps3 controller.
Although now I'm thinking that if there is a way to control your android from your pc. Like maybe vnc or something. So we could set that up and then maybe use motion in joy to control our pc. So using your ps3 controller to control you PC and using your PC to control your phone. But I haven't tried this yet and I'm assuming it will he very laggy and I'm not even sure if there is an app that allows your PC to control your phone in the way I want. Like the way I want is that pressing x on your ps3 will press x on your PC and pressing x on my PC will press somewhere around the bottom left of he phone screen. Maybe if I find time for this I will tell you guys if anything worked.
I installed Xposed Installer and then downloaded the Bluetooth Unlock 1.1.1 module. Tick the "all files" option in the Bluetooth Unlock module. Next, select preferences/settings/general settings and tick the Auto Start option in the Sixaxis Controller app. Restart your device. Wait for the Sixaxis app to start. Open Sixaxis and Stop the driver (I don't know why you have to do this but you do). Now, start the Sixaxis driver again. Press the PS button on the previously paired controller. It SHOULD connect.
Remember that the Sixaxis app will keep your screen on, so auto start Is not ideal but it seems that there is some interplay between the Sixaxis app/Bluetooth Unlocker and the BT protocols on startup.

Wow thank you it works.
I had this same problem and solved it by flashing the XtreStoLite rom found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2732110
Now Sixaxis controller connects to PS3 controllers and recognizes the input.

Thank you very much. i'm running de s5 port on my note 3 and this was a big problem for me.
Freeze the bluetooth share apk and it should work every time. It interferes with the drivers in the app
I'm on lollipop rooted and can't pair ps3 controller to my s5 g900f. Any solutions brothers??

It's a touchwiz problem. Had the same problem on my note 3 with lollipop. Flashed cm12.1 and everything works again.
This problem is since the Galaxy s5

didnt work for me!
OK so for a longme now i have been loking for a way to use my xperia play's button as a controller for myother phone or tablet AND I FOUND IT! any ways thares a free and paid version but if you are using the xperia pla as the controlled THERE IS NO REASON TO BUY THE FULL VERSION unless you want to support them but anyway the app is called BTController and you can use both wifi and bluetooth form what i can tell there is no noticable delay unless you compare the time you press a button and the time the phone reacts, it also works on windows computers but im not actually sure if thats true. THIS IS NOT MY MY APP, i just found it
so very basic steps
xperia play phone:
start the app choose wifi or bluetooth
choose controller
pick the snes controller (it doesnt matter if your not using it as a snes contrller)
if you use bluetooth pick the phone or tablet your connecting to
if you use bluetooth pick the ip/port of the host, to make it simple the controller will tell you if the host has btcontroller
now for the host
start the app
choose the same option you used before
choose host
enable the keyboard (it makes inputs so its necessary) then choose it as your input method
choose your phone again
wait for them to connect, you will know you are connected because the screen will change on the xperia play
go to the emulator of your chose and go to the setting anf adjust the controls as necessary
and voila you can use the physical buttons on a different phone
This is the link for the free one, once again you d not need to pay for the full https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=droidbean.btcontroller
this should be in themes and apps section not here
you are just posting an app without any development

Actually, android supports bluetooth mouse so you can try to connect one to your device. It will show a crappy windows-like mouse arrow, I have tried it on tablet devices. For other cases like third party apps the device that should be controlled (not the controller device) must be rooted so that the app could do full range of work (swipe the status bar, click on home button, etc).
MyPhoneExplorer is exactly what I was looking for!
But I have a problem, I can't control my phone using it...
I installed it on my phone and my computer, I connect my phone via usb (I really need to be able to control it via usb, not wifi/bluetooth), then I can see all my contacts/phone infos etc... But when I click on "extras>control phone", nothing happens
Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Im sure adb debugging must be enabled, so goto settings>developer options>enable usb debugging , if you can't see dev options do > goto settings>about> tap on build a few times
USB debugging was enabled.
I found a solution: I connected my phone using Wifi, then I clicked on "control phone", it asked me to plug the USBcable, I plugged the USB cable, then disconnected my internet, and it worked!...
...for few minutes, then I got this error: "Couldn't receive FrameProperties".
Now every time I launch the application, I get this error
Try VNC
Sent through my beastly SM-T320 using Tapatalkā“
VNC is perfect! It's the first app that didn't crash!
Thanks!
No problem my friend
Hi all, hoping someone can me with this.
I know there is a way to get a remote screen via ADB to use an android phone and I am hoping to do this on my Nexus. I want to be able to set it up as a part of my home automation system so I need to be able to set up Tasker.
Unfortunately the screen is broken on my Nexus 5 and also the digitizer so I have no way of seeing what i'm doing / use it. I also know that USB debugging is disabled which is why I haven't been able to set up a remote screen so.
I have managed to boot it up into fast boot mode and connect up the Nexus tool kit.
What I want to find out is; is there a ROM I can install that has USB debugging enabled by default and that I can install via the Nexus tool kit? Otherwise is there any other way anyone knows of that I achieve this?
Thanks in advance for any help!
