what is the best, closest to stock wm 6.5 rom with sense 2.5 for RAPH?,(not energy)
Why not Energy?
You can try Captian's roms but you will have to dig to find the appropriate rom. One that has htc messaging.
nah, energy are blue, and the weather animation is dull, and to heavy+no video call, dude i need one aas leo stock rom
Exquisite, untouchable for me.

Thats so absolutely not true. Have you already tried it? Maybe it might be some bit stuttery, but there is no rom who does this better. Energy updates all roms of all devices. He updates software, and you know when you update software there might be a bug, or a infliction with other software. I can only see it positive that NRG updates it alot. Energy is absolutely the better rom, I think Exquisite is second. But you won't get everything working flawless on the Touch Pro for now. The device simply can't handle so much Eye candy. + I advice you to configure it yourself, that helps alot.

Try Beautiful Widgets, and no the Sense UI and Cy mod are not capable together. Maybe the kernel will sometime but not the actual rom. BTW major off with the section try Q&A next time before you get flamed hard.
possible Yes the other way around
you can have an htc rom and "some stuff from Cyanogenmod like video cam possibly BT

This is development. You had an extremely simple question that could've been answered in cm's thread, or better yet in Q&A if you insist that your question is important enough to warrant it's own thread. Respect gets respect, even on the internet.
Proto is right, if this was possible somebody would've already done it ten times.

No because it's so much easier to port a whole ROM over than it is to do a hybrid. Theoretically, it would be possible to take the frameworks of Sense and apply them to the source.
Besides, your analogy seems kind of flawed. It's like saying a few days ago, "If it was possible to get full 3D and Video Acceleration on 2.1 we would've already done it." And all it took was one very dedicated and intelligent coder named Cyanogen doing it.

agreed. probably possible.. but whats the use?
Even if it was possible we have to remember it has been out for two days and is an experimental rom. NOBODY wants to work for a few hours for a couple days only to have a new, more stable rom come out that could potentially break the work they just finished. They would rather have a rom that is "stable" and won't be replaced within days (Meaning yes, a long-term rom that won't be updated for 2+ weeks).

By the time that happens we will have all discarded our G1's. Do remember people do this as a hobby not for a job, that's for actual devs that do it for a job.
Here are some sense similar apps:

Cookers have been using new video drivers lately, so it shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, it has been asked thousand of times, and no one got the right answer for this "matter". It's just as you see it, as you feel it, though HTC official latest rom is kinda stable and fast itself. I'm currently experiencing neon's rom, which seem pretty nice to me. Anyway, the most reliable roms out there are TAEL's, NRG's Energy, Captain's Special, Timolol (stock like, so it's supposedly faster), MonaRom, Exquisite and James' roms. So, since i've tried EVERYONE OF THEM, im about to tell you that's kinda personal, and cooks are doing their best to make an old PDA such as Raphael kind of new and always up-to-date. The best thing about deciding is to try, and fail. Failing brings stubborness, which brings success
You can't really get best and fast on the touch pro.
You can get the best -- roms with sense 2.5, cookie's home tab, 23xxx wm builds.
or
You can get fast -- roms with sense 2.1, stock sense home tab, 6.1 or 6.5 21xxx wm builds.
Test out a few, all the cooks have great details and screenshots in their release threads to help you decide what version you want. Try a 23xxx build with stock sense hometab, try a version with 21xxx builds. Try out a few and try to find a tolerable threshold of features + speed.
If you REALLY want best and fast, consider upgrading to either an HD2, or a Toshiba TG01. Unless you can overclock your current phone, everything will be fast on one of those 1ghz snapdragons. Of course with so many other options (android, wp7, ios4) I doubt too many people will be upgrading to another wm device.
@g0ldb3rg thank you so much my friend for everything ... and yes im using the Energy rom right ... its rly rly got alot of functions and features and work great but its just slow i mean i cant have fun when the phone slow click the start and take like 1.5 to 2.5 second to respond hehe neon sound great but 2 much graphic lol
@hartleyshc i wish rly i can update to HD2 or any WM7 devices but first im waiting for HTC to provide WM7 cuz seriously no one like HTC or Dell ... but in all cases i dont have the right money to change my PDA now lol ... plus i like the qwerty keyboard in my Pro this is what make it the best for me hahaha
thank you guys so much....
don't worry about it, i highly doubt WM7 will be ported to touch pro, though. Anyway, if you want a nice and fast rom, try the dusk themed neon rom, it works kinda nice to me
If the rom is clean and it has few programm(less htc programms-more stability )the faster it will be..If you want speed just use titanium versions..The neons and timolols roms are the faster roms ive seen so far..With some tweaks and overclocks the phone will fly up to the air...hehe...just like mine..
@g0ldb3rg thank u so much again bro ... and yes im gonna download neon rom right now and gonna test it and let ya know
@mixalhsxalk thanks man and yes im gonna download neon and timolols too hehe and hope its gonna fly like ur phone hahaha if u can provide me with link for the same rom u r using and i hope its not titanium versions i like the sence more hehe

Also if you prefer Sense, try a stock Sense rom. Cookie's home tab slows down a system a lot that doesnt have a high end cpu (read: snapdragon)

NexuS has pretty same hardware. Even better cam..
I sold NexuS because I missed some of the sense things:
the stock dialer has NO t9 search - most dialer from market are crap or slow or somehow frickled on the stock dialer. Even old nokia do have a quick search option...
Stock contacts are ugly.
GAL (global adress list for exchange server) is NOT implemented in android 2.x - only in 3.0; but it's implemented since sense1 (hero)
CM had some issues - espacially with the notification bar/speed settings - on 2.3 - the new sense 3.0 lockscreen and notification bar are very good - so no need for CM at the moment - for _me_
So I deleted most of sense.apk from /system on my DesireS (all widgets, all "htc", like route66, amazon, stockexchange..) and do use adw-launcher instead of rosie (don't delete it cause is needed for lockscreen settings!) - but do have integrated company exchange and a good biult in dialer, cool contacts (with flickr and fb content) and nice lockscreen..

Sense is THE BEST ANDROID UI, EVAR. Don't know why people wanna "DE-SENSE" their phones. I'm gonna flash CM7 to see what the fuss is about , but sense 3.0 first Hopefully, the new official version of CM7 will come for DS too. I'd rather let the ports pass on...........

I get the sarcasm, but well, imo WebOS is a really good os. It's too new and has veeeeerrry less apps. In abou 1-2 years maybe, it'll become as good as android is today.

had there been better WebOS devices on the market, i would probably have bought one of those instead. i've been told that app development is a lot easier than on any other platform. and as soon as i get some time, i might just look into writing apps for android.

There's plenty of HTC phones out there that are running custom ROMs and customised user interfaces that don't rely on Sense. It may be the "out of the box experience" as far as most HTC phones are concerned, but isn't that what all THIS (ie these forums) is about - customisations, and thinking "out of the box"? (no pun intended, haha).
If we all concentrated on Sense and variations on that theme then this community would be a much poorer one.
Peace
sense ftw!
Well, i love sense, but i am porting the cm7 just so people have the choose, and also to make the development on this device more alive
But personally, Sense is the thing!
All i can say is i am extremly happy with it. i am coming from the moto atrix, which was horrible. it was worse then my mytouch 4g. the difference is like night and day, even with less RAM.
there is something i want to know though. the bar at the bottom of the homescreen isnt exactly "smooth". i posted a pic, you cant tell much on it since it is blurry. not really much of a problem, just weird

Hello fellow XDAers,
I am waiting for MIUI 9 to drop so we can pull that into the kitchen and cook. I am going to attempt to work with the new system, I haven't ported anything after Jellybean. So with that, I wanted to see who was on-board to potentially want to try MIUI.
Two things; One - I am not saying I am for sure going to be successful, but I will try. 2; MIUI 9 release date is expected to be end of May or early June 2017.
Feel free to have a discussion of MIUI here, I will also use this thread for small updates in regards to MIUI.
--- Small Post Update ---
MIUI 9 ?
Here is a small list of features to potentially look out for in the new version of MIUI. This is a leap forward into Nougat from MIUI 8.
Multi-window support
Quick-reply from notifications
Optimised dose mode
RAM optimization
Improved data saver
Always-on VPN
Call screening feature
Dual space feature
Dual apps
I have honestly never once run a MIUI ROM. Im not quite the flashaholic i used to be (especially now, as finicky as the v20 seems to be), but i could be game for flashing it a few times to kick the tires, see how it rolls.
Am i to understand that it does not have a home screen/app drawer for stock launcher ala iOS? it does retain androids ability to change launchers?
Is there anything "must see" on MIUI? ...not so much eye candy·· I don't care about bling so much, im all about that utility.

Hello! We have all been there with the flashaholic syndrome. It's a fortunate disease ? the V20 is a unit that is quite more finicky than most, but surely not the worst.
Initially, this will be a project starting off with the 918 and working into other variants as I relearn Android and what the new systems look like. It is a launcher that emulates that of an iOS landscape. Yes, you still have all of the ability of changing launches, etc. Must "see" would be animations, style, small 'functionality' pieces like that of the battery bar rather than a battery icon and so on.
It's more or less a eye candy piece of OS rather than something slim, although it is still smaller than a factory image. More "bloated" than a aosp rom but still functions greatly under the right environment.

I have attempted MIUI 8 but there are too many differences in the framework(MM vs N) to patch correctly. I was going to patch 9 in once it releases but if you want it you can have it.
