I have modded my Gtab with TNT Lite. I do not see the update icon. Will we still be able to apply the updates that are being released on the 24th?
No, you will have to have a genuine tnt image on your tablet, not a modded one.

Not if you're running TnT Lite. You'd need to run stock, or just keep watching the forum for updates.
So how do you go back to stock? I'm new with this Android stuff.

As far as OFFICIAL FIRMWARE, you won't find it, because it doesn't exist. The official firmware stopped at 1.6 AFAIK.
HOWEVER!!!! You are at the right place to get that baby rooted and hooked up with 2.2 FroYo!! Go back 1 page and scroll down a bit. You shall be happy.
When froyo 2.2 is available for update would it have to be done through samsung kies or however its spelled? Or can i just use the phones updater to install 2.2 as well? i have read that we MUST use kies? ty and SO sorry if its wrong topic?

You asking if you can OTA the update when its officially released?
If your running a custom ROM and kernel than you can't OTA it. If your just rooted and are running the stock ROM I believe you can OTA it but it will make you lose root.
If your running a custom ROM, you might as well just flash a custom FroYo ROM thats based off the Official FroYo one when its released, we all know the Dev's here make things better.

If you are running a completely stock Epic with no modifications to the kernel/ROM etc., then you will receive an OTA notification when it is available. If not, you will have to wait until the new .tar comes out in order to flash it with Odin, or you can go back to complete stock to receive the OTA.
Ok thats all i needed to no ty all for the fast responses! YOUR THE BEST GUYS! and yea im all stock so ill be getting it ota dont no the release date yet but im looking forward to it this month (I HOPE! lol) anyway just wanted to say ty and keep up your good work guys i check back very often and see wats out and new ;P

You won't be able to use the patch file (the smaller one) to go from 2.3.1 because the files needed aren't there. If you use the full rom (you'll have to root to apply it) then the answer to your question is yes. The easiest way is to either wait for 2.3.2 and then do the manual update or manually push both of them.
so is it ok to manually update my nexus s to 2.3.2 then to 2.3.3? By the way my phone is not rooted, will i have a problem if i do it manually? (2.3.2 to 2.3.3)
or i have to root my phone then manually push both updates?

If you can find the update file for 2.3.2 then absolutely. You'll just have to do them one by one and rename them each "update.zip"

find a 2.3.2 nandroid backup in the development forum and nandroid restore to it
If I went directly from 2.3 (or 2.3.1, I forgot) to 2.3.3, does that mean that the sms bug wasn't fixed?

You can upgrade directly from 2.3.1 to 2.3.3 without needing root permission.
I did this myself using one of the manual download links, there is a upgrade package to go from 2.3.1 to 2.3.3 which includes the 2.3.2 fixes.

I just checked the Android version of my EEE Transformer and it's 3.0.1. Is this the latest version? If not, is there a way to 'force' an update or do I have to wait for it to be rolled out?

Not the latest.
3.1 is the one some people have upgraded to. The official release is due sometime next week
How did they update if it hasn't been released yet? Thanks!
It was leaked. Check out the "here's honeycomb 3.1" thread or pretty much any thread with "3.1" in the title. Can't help but wonder how youbmissed those threads though
I don't need a signature.

You people, who are updating, do realize if this is the same as the soak test rom, then you CAN NOT fxz back to GB? So if you play with it and bootloop then you'll have to follow tcf38012's guide to reinstall ICS.

I´m trying to download the OTA but I think it is not initiating the download because some port is blocked in the firewall, does anyone know what port I need to open so I can download the OTA update?

As is already discussed in several other threads, there is no reason to have "another" OTA update thread. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Read back a couple posts for links to the discussion threads.
