[Q] HELP:After Hard Reset my phone can not connect to a network services - Touch Pro2 CDMA

My phone is Verizon xv6875, I am from China.
I made a Hard reset (by press and hold the Volume down, Send key and Power key, then Press the Volume up).
But after reboot the phone, it can not connect to a network services, says no service. I have a GSM SIM Card with China Mobile service.
I've tried different networks with SIM cards which are working well with other phones.
Also I have tried my GSM SIM Card with other phones, and it works well.
I have reflashed a custom ROM, sim card detected, and switch to global mode. but still no service.
Verizon xv6875:
Radio verison:1.96.0ESN
PRL verison:00202
PRI verison:1.42_003
ERI verison:5
SPL-1.00.01iNEX
Anybody can help me!!!?
Thanks!

Today I have updated RPI
PRI verison to 2.20_003
The problem persist,
then i updated Radio version to 2.37.00WV
The problem persist...
I do not know how?

Anyone can give me some suggestions?
I need your help!

I have contacted with HTC, and I was told this device was customer made by a personal company.
But show Verizon logo at the top of this device.
Hard reset (Not System Wipe device) may lose something in RAM.
And dial *228 nothing happened.
Is it needs to activate the phone?
What I can do?

I have reflashed a Chinese Arlen's patched radio, after rebooting shows Radio 1.96.0ESN, but still dos not work.

With help of "Xiaolei", a Chinese people, My device is working fine now.
It is need to use QPST-Software Download to restore Data backup from a device working fine, and reboot.
So, Verizon xv6875 we cannot make Hard reset, it my lost some network data.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Resco tools and broken IMEI

Got my brand new HTC Touch Cruise the other week and it was working great. I then decided to try and Geotag my photos which apparently is as simple as changing a registery value. So off I go and download the trial of Resco Explorer 2007 and reg editor from their website and change HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\P9 »Enable« to 1
Soft reset the phone and then the phone no longer connects to the network.
(The geotagging feature of the camera worked fine too.....)
I uninstalled the tools, did a hard reset and reloaded the original ROM to no avail - the phone still refuses to connect to the network (Telstra NextG - Australia) which it was working fine with before. I have also noticed that when there is no Sim in the phone the IMEI does not agree with the one on the back and when the Sim is in it says the IMEI is "Not Support"
Any help would be appreciated, I'm missing my new toy already!
Do a Hard reset and your problems should be gone. Easiest way is "Settings > System > Clear Storage > 1234". Remember to sync your contacts before you do it and good luck
I'd already tried a hard reset and loading the latest ROM (Which was the same as the one it shipped with) but that did not work.
Just tried doing it again the way you suggested and it's still broken.
Also on further inspection my IMEI when it doesn't have a SIM in to is almost the same as the one of the back but just has an extra 01 on the end. It still says "Not support" when I have the SIM in it though....
All sorted out.... It seems it was an issue with Telstra(They said they had a brief outage, and for some reason my SIM didn't reconnect to the network until they gave it a "Kick"), not the phone that just happened at the same time as I was editing the registery. Talk about bad luck......

Yes so next time your Polaris not working so blame always your operator if the device dont connect, The imei cant NEVER chance with a registry chance what ever you do with the device the imei never changes, with that numbers you cant mess with
you said the imei changed when you have the sim card inside and evidently you couldn't connect to the network because of that... so deosn't that implys there's a 'possibility' that bypass the hardware imei by doing something to the sim? we might be on to something here guys..

Samsung Moment Data issues

Has anyone had problems activating Data services after rooting?
I puchased a used Samsung Moment (Sprint) that was rooted. I was able to activate the phone partially the manual way. (Updated ph# and MSID). But my data wont work and the phone itself will not 'self activate'. I have flashed and re-flashed, unrooted and re-rooted. Wiped and did hard resets. The phone simply will not activate the DATA. Also the MSL is ##000000# and some of the other sprint codes do not work, i.e ##775# (PRL) and the original MSL. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what I can try? Sprint already thinks the phone was 'modified' and thats why it wont connect. I am currently back to default settings with ECLAIR.D03

[Q] Broke my phone by tethering

I was using my phone for tethering following this post and it was working great.
Today in order to install the Mango Beta update I did a reset on my phone so that the backup step would be faster.
But I forgot to switch back my phone from "HTC Modem" mode to "Zune Sync" mode.
Now it just wont connect to the computer. I cannot install the same XAP file to enable the "Zune Sync" mode as the phone is not dev unlocked (it was dev unlocked before reset).
Now the phone is just recognized as a modem on my machine and Zune just won't recognize it.
I have searched google and the XDA forums but could not find any solution to this issue.
Any pointers to fix this issue will be greatly appreciated.
H8 to say it, but I think you are screwed because u can't unlock your phone. Talk to your carrier, make it seem like you are innocent, ask for a replacement and cross your fingers.
I am sorry

Have you tried reset via diagnosis menu?
Dial ##634# to get in Diagnostic mode and *2767*3855# to do a full reset.
After changing some settings in my omnia, it wouldn't connect to 3g, no matter what I did. I flashed roms, updates, did a reset via settings menu, called my mobile operator... today I did this reset and the phone wen't back to normal, so I assume that this reset is "harder" then the other

Tried this, its just for samsung decives. I could not find the Diagnostic code for HTC phones. Thanks for your answer.
Found the following on this thread:
Call ##634#
From the new debugging menu, enter: *#7284#
You see three options come up: Zune, Modem Tethered Call, Modem Diagnostic.
Then its easy to switch to Zune mode. But the problem is it just works on Samsung phones. I am not sure what the Diagnosis code for HD7 is. I have searched everywhere
I am not sure if I can call t-mobile for help as I had unlocked my phone and moved to another carrier.

Act all innocent and just say you have no idea why it won't update, tried on different friend's computers etc. Dont mention it's been unlocked as they will never find out how. However the replacement phone wont be unlocked so you'll have to unlock it again.
When I bought my Toshiba TG01 on Orange, I NEVER put an orange sim card into it, I used it with my O2 sim and I had it returned when it was 11 months

N5 has No service, No data and SIM card sometimes not recognized

Heres whats going on
I have reset the N5, and flashed the July MM image. Everything flashed fine.
I insert SIM before booting, Android doesnt see SIM... so i pulled out the SIM and reinsert while on, and it sees it.
The Signal goes into an empty triangle... It says you have voicemail. And nothing else happens.
No data, no service. *#*#4636#*#* shows the right selection, it gives me the option to turn on the radio, but if i click it, nothing ever happens.
Under phone info, it sees my phone number, the IMEI is fine, and its not blacklisted when i check multiple carrier's websites.
I just cant seem to figure out why it wont just acquire service signal even when APN settings are right.
Anyone got any tips, tricks or solutions to this?
Possibly damaged sim card or sim card reader?

dont think so, i think its software maybe.... When i do *#*#4636#*#* it will show my phone number on the top... if i remove SIM, the number becomes "unknown"... so i dunno
If it happens with all SIM cards, it could be a damaged sim reader as different areas of the SIM card contains different information? Not sure.
I have similar problem with MOB30P on T-Mobile network. The 4G LTE would work just fine (I can browse web etc), but the voice is where it is failing hard. I would have dropped calls along with calls not coming through (both calling out and receiving calls).
I downgraded to MOB30M and everything appears to working fine now. I have not opened any bug against Android yet, because I am not sure if I am the only one experiencing this problem.
Hi, I was googling for a problem like your one. My N5 does not recognise the sim at boot, but only if it is "hot". If I put it in the fridge for ten minutes and then reboot, all works fine until the next shutdown. I'm sure it's an hardware problem (already tried different sim) so I disassembled all the phone, and it looks perfect. With some cleaner for electrical contacts it can survive for some days, and then starts again. So sad, I don't want to change phone just for this stupid problem XD
I'm getting exact same issue with my Nexus 5 since CM13 0803 update, which brings MOB30Y to my phone I believe.
At first my phone could still recognize my carrier (China Unicom), but there is no signal.
Then I flash radio image from MOB30Y and the phone now cannot find SIM card completely.
Even reflashing factory image doesn't help.
I'm now trying to reflashing MOB30P to see if it helps.
Update to latest August security update radio and bootloader

Prestigio PSP7557 SIM CARD ERROR - I can use data , but calls and text dont work.

So I have the prestigio psp7557 and I was going to fix it for someone , but Im stuck on this problem. I insert a sim card it works well and when you make a call it says "call ended" instantly. Cant said text either. But I can use data without any problems. The sim card works fine in my own phone(calls , text data all works). At first the phone was fully functional then I got it rooted by someone a while a go and then this happened. I left it and now im trying to fix it.
Im not a complete newb when it comes to phones so i have tried acouple of things :
-Dialled *#*#4636#*#* and turned the radio off and set it to gsm , restarted and it didnt help. So i switched it back to the way it was.
-i messed about in the network settings , changing apns , service providers and no luck
-i reset the whole phone using the stock recovery mode(vol up + power button menu)
-took the sim out and restarted multiple times
Would really appreciate it if someone helped me out , thank you in advance
