If I already have a flashable zip file from another SystemUI.apk... Can I just extract the SystemUI.apk from the rosie.apk and replace the other SystemUI.apk from the flashable file that I already have using Winrar...? Lol
Or nobody kind enough to make the original stock SystemUI.apk flashable for the Inspire 4G?

1. It is not systemui.apk unless you are running something other then sense in which case you would have to do some smali coding to get it to work properly.
2. The images you are looking for are in the Rosie.apk not systemui.API
3. You can download a inspire base rom and pull it from the flashable rom zip and push it to your phone. Or as long as you are using the correct file structure you can use a flashable.zip to flash it.

You have to go at /system/media or /data/local with root explorer from an application and delete the bootanimation.zip

Look in the Themes & Apps section (bootsplashes).
There's also an app on the market that I can confirm works (I've used it several times before).

Dependant on the ROM, You need to go to /data/local/ and replace the bootanimation.zip with one of your choice.
you will need root explorer (or similar) with system mounted RW

On galaxy s2 and resurrection remix rom, i went on /system/media. Better backup first renaming the original.

right now i havent done any upgrading with the firmware or installed a rom. So my question is, say i do all that after i change the animation. What will happen?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
if you have root access you will be fine... On some ROMs the bootanimation.zip is in a different location...
If it does not work, Delete it, And reboot, It will restore the original...
But make a copy of the original anyway, Place it on the SD card for easy finding.
Ok. I just didnt want to interfere if say i use a rom. Thanks.

If you flash a ROM, it will come with its own Bootanimation so it will overwrite the one that you change to
