This has become my favorite launcher, replacing LauncherPro.
I would love to see more icon choices, like calculator, calendar, etc..
Thanks!!!
This is a very good launcher.
Where can we report bugs/make feature requests?
Just in case this i smonitored:
* There is a bug with a widget. "Greek eortologio" only shows 1 line rather than 3 and the widget cannot be moved/removed etc. It works ok in other launchers. When I uninstalled the widget in its place i got a message "cannot inflate widget" or something like this.
* When adding a shortcut to an app, the list of apps appears in a random order rather than alphabetically (it is the fastest list I have seen though!)
* App drawer scrolling could be a bit smoother.
* Backup feature would be useful but not essential since titanium can back this up.
Excellent work none the less, I'd be happy to pay if the bug with the widgets was fixed.
You need to make the only way to create a folder by hitting Menu > New Folder.
It's almost impossible to move apps around without creating a bunch of unwanted Folders.

Hi ,thanks for your feedback .We will add more icon selection in next several versions.
Nice, I'll have to try this out. It's good to know that the devs are active and adressing the bugs... which are the main differences between this and for example LauncherPro?

Hi everyone! Im the developer of Moogly, a simple but useful todo list widget that started as a project for Honeycomb. The pr is after the break.
There have been reports that it doesnt work properly on some devices! If someone could be so kind as to try the Lite version and if it doesnt stretch properly, send me some screenshots and log files!
You can also post issues at the main thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1202211
Thanks in advance!

MOOGLY
A simple but powerful to do list widget designed to be customized. Now with auto-hiding buttons!
Features:
★ Multiple independent, scrollable widgets
★ Quick, dialog based entry
★ Tick to delete or mark complete
★ Widgets are optimized for Honeycomb
★ Predefined themes or total customization
★ RTL support
★ Custom image backgrounds
This widget was inspired by To Do List from HTC Sense - for some reason, they were the only ones to get it right.
Lite Market link - restricted to 8 entries and only one widget
https://market.android.com/details?id=fahrbot.apps.moogly.lite&feature=search_result
Screens:
Hi. I'm on Prime 1.7. Moogly lite installed, the widget showed up immediately in my widget list. Added a widget to my homescreen and entered the maximum 3 entries, changed the theme, resized the widget and deleted entries. All worked as intended/ expected. Nice app
Phew. However, would it be possible to get some feedback from someone on stock as well please?
Works perfectly on rooted stock 3.2, awesome app
Running stock 3.2 not rooted
Works perfect. Widget loaded with no problems.
How about sending me the proversion for testing.
I could, but the license would expire in 20 minutes and you have to spend a whopping $0.99 to get it working again...
lol that is exactly what i charge to evaluate your free one.
Works well on stock unrooted device. Added to the compatible apps list. Good job.

Great idea! It will go to the top of the list.
how about an option to put a title ( without the check off space) on each to do list.
Ill think about it - it might ruin the whole minimalist thing im going for. Will try and see though...
As a suggestion, I would name the widget "Moogly - To DO List" or something along those lines. I thought I had messed something up when looking through the M section of my widgets.
Eh? Im not sure i understand...
When I go to add the widget, I find it under 'To Do-list' (edit: actually it is found under the first number in the size)
I was looking for 'Moogly'
Its minor, just a suggestion.
I still don't understand. In the widget picker the app is simply called moogly... once you pick moogly, you get 2x2 to do list, 2x4 to do list, etc.
Its not an issue, its supposed to be like that.
But it isn't, at least on my tab.

shrug, if I'm the only one, I'll get over it =P.
I'll try to reboot again and see if that might fix it. Reboot didn't fix it.
Oh i see what you mean now!
The problem is that on a phone it uses a different logic - ie, once youve chose moogly in the picker, a second menu opens with the sizes... so it makes sense to give them those titles.
I think as a compromise im going top add filler graphics to the HC picker menu.

I'm using Go Launcher, but I'm sticking to 2.60 since that's the last one that returns to your home screen when you exit an app. I really don't like the way the newer versions return to the app drawer instead. Why this change wasn't made optional, I really don't understand

I think that's a tipical return, if you open an app from app drawer, when you press the back key to exit, it back from where the application was opened, instead of press back key, just press home key .

Thanks for replying
The behaviour used to be different and I preferred it that way. I usually want to actually exit an app, rather than leave it running in the background. It means that next time I start the app, it starts at its 'start page' rather than where I last left it running.
I'm not trying to say everyone should do it my way (although I'm not the only one who has complained about the change) - I am surprised it wasn't made an option. This is perhaps the most customisable launcher out there. I can choose from a million different transitions, separately for vertical app drawer, horizontal app drawer and home screens; I can choose what kind of home screen indicators I have, and whether they should fade out; I can configure 2 different actions for each dock icon, and choose a different icon for each. So it's really surprising that this change was made without providing the option for the old behaviour.
why is the title 'FINAL'? according to the website, theres another version coming.
My favorite launcher.
However, the sphere and cilinder transition effect for the homescreen(not the appdrawer) is very laggy on my galaxy s2 while it is smooth on the older galaxy s. Howcome?
And sometimes the appdrawer icon on the dock doesn't response.
How are the apps sorted in folders? They seem almost completely random to me. I thought it was order that you add them but I add new apps to the folder and they wind up in the middle of the folder.
It would be nice if they could be sorted in alphabetical order.
i am using adw , who can tells what differences between them?

Lightning Launcher by PierroX
Fastest launcher on Xperia Play. 60KB download. Works on GB and ICS. Customization is incredible.
Lose the fat, keep the muscle. Be warned, Lightning Launcher is on steroïds.
This application has been designed to minimize memory usage and be fast: the more memory you have for your applications, the faster they will run. In other words Lightning Launcher has been built from the ground to preserve your phone's resources and keep it smooth.
In spite of its ridiculously small size (less than 60kb!), Lightning Launcher is packed with a fair amount of features and brings to Android a very unique concept: the home screen can be seen as a giant surface on which you are free to put icons, shortcuts or widgets exactly where YOU WANT, and not limited to a 4x4 grid. Pinch to zoom in or out the desktop, use the home key to switch between a full scale view or the normal size, or double tap on empty space as in the web browser to immediately see all your icons. And everything stay functional whatever the zoom level is: widgets are alive, icons can be clicked, and so on.
Lightning Launcher drops rarely used features and focuses on useful ones but comes nevertheless with numerous customization options. Icons and widgets can be moved, scaled and even rotated freely. Each object can be configured independently, you can change the font, the label, the icon and much more!
The package is extremely small, only a few kilobytes. What it means is that the Android system do not need to load several megabytes to run this app. Lightning Launcher starts faster and run in perfect harmony with your other apps.

Great and smooth Launcher, but i dont find the option to change wallpapers
I'm getting a FC when changing the icon's image, is this a known bug?
Other than that is an awesome sandbox launcher!
I just installed this on my phone. This with a fresh install of TrueAncestor and V6 superchager and my phone has never been faster.
just installed Slim ICS on nexus s and this came with it.
Looks great but there seems to be a huge bug that i couldn't find referenced anyway:
I can't scroll back up once I reach the bottom of either the homescreen or the app draw!
Help?

First I'd like to thank you for this very responsive and light launcher.
What is a bit difficult for me to understand is the separate installation package on the Play store ("Lightning Launcher Setup"): Is it mandatory to install it? Can I remove it after setup of the launcher? When does it unload from memory?
I installed it on same time i installed the "Lightning Launcher Home" but i'm a bit lost with these two separate packages, although I understand the reason of this.
Maybe he wanted to make the launcher cool so he made an 60kb package and then 100kb+ setup.

Beta 19:
- Wallpaper support!
- Redesigned and rewritten app search: faster, stronger, better. Try cool stuff like pressing the search key on the keyboard to launch your top search result.
- Open items directly in app from feed. Way faster to get straight to the good stuff for twitter, tumblr, instagram, etc. Long press an item in feed to quickly perform common actions. Check settings to override all this.
- Lots of bug fixes to quick launcher
- A bunch more redesigned stuff to come soon...
Beta 11 update 10/28:
-Transparent statusbar and navbar option!!
- Tumblr!! This is v1 with support for photo, text, link and quote post types. You can like posts too. Reblogging coming soon along with photosets.
- Animated gifs! You kind of can't do tumblr and not do animated gifs, duh.
- big upgrades to the item detail view: offline mode, faster image loading, gifs.
- New photo cropped and custom header image handling. Faster, better, blah blah you get it.
- Even more stuff I can't remember but that is probably awesome.
Hey XDA family, it's been awhile since I've been here. The last time I was here I was sharing with you LunarUi. Now I am back in the android community as I have been working with Larvalabs to design Flowhome. I have the honor of premiering the App here. The app is still in testing phase. We're looking for a great feedback forum such as here
App Description:
Flowhome is a launcher replacement app that allows you to stylish integrate all of your social network feeds and system notifications into one feed which you can like or repost without leaving the app. You can also quickly access information and apps. It is customizable and comes with theme support.

It looks awesome so far! Few requests/bugs
-I have a few persisting notifications which shows up on the launcher, anyway to blacklist some of them?
-Apps do not show up when sliding to the left or just tapping the app drawer.
-anyway we can customize the header? Like make it larger?
-custom folders on homescreen and or the app drawer, hiding apps would be awesome as well
-transparent status bar if possible
-hooking to an rss feed if possible.
-"custom square " /" pinnable" for maybe our own photos or weather or music widget
Keep up the great work! Borderline theme is my favorite!
Sweet. Hope we can add widgets soon. It's slick.
Looking very good :good:
It would be nice to be able to use the google+ account besides facebook,twitter....
In love.
I'm in love. Thank you for creating this and sharing. I only been using it for 2 mins, but I love it.
Once I play around with it, I'll have more to add.. but this is my favorite launcher replacement!

All 50 gone by now? Xda001 wont work anymore,.... Sad
- App crashes sometimes on pressing favorite box on homepage or search icon on all apps
- Pressing haptic back button takes me back to my Touchwiz launcher (Galaxy S4 with Custom Rom Samy Deluxe)
- If we swipe right on homescreen card, it removes it without giving an option to undo or at least asking for it. I think undo is best like you delete an email in GMAIL and it gives option to undo.
- Add Google+, LinkedIn cards on homepage.
- Swiping to very bottom the homepage should refresh all apps data

The torch button bug fixed in 0.5 (will be updated in a few hours) . The 3 buttons in smart menu are the settings of each view. Top one is for widget (if you have one an x button will popup in top right screen and if you have no widget, widget selector will open). The middle one will open a new screen of all your installed apps. Those which are grey are already in your Smart Menu clicking them again will remove the app. And the bottom settings button is for shortcuts and works just like the widget one. If your device's dpi is mdpi then try installing the v 0.5. Join our comunity if you want to get the latest updates. I hope I solved your bugs. Thank you for your support and feedback.
