I don't have time to make a flash zip out of this right now, and at this stage this is mostly for other devs, but I have just gotten Hotspot and USB tethering working again on the 3.70 framework.
EDIT: From the combined efforts of Aamikam and I, this seems to be fully working without borking your 4G. Note that this version will disable the vibrate when unlocking. This is a flashable zip. This is for the new 3.70 OTA only.

i attached a zip i made real quick just in case someone else is not sure how.
wipe cache and dalvik... although i think u dont really need to.

4g never worked on wifi tether btw... so im wondering if thats what u mean... or u mean that 4g dont work at all?
It won't turn on 4G after pushing the file. Hotspot does work fine on 3g, as previous hack. But now, when I try to turn on 4G, it tries to turn on for a while and afterward it just says it failed to turn on.

I don't have 4G in my area, but when I enable it it turns on and starts scanning. I think you might have something else going on?

I can also confirm This. When I try to turn on 4g my phone reboots with or without the hot spot on.
im trying to see if i can fix it... i will post something if i can get it... but i think i see whats wrong here.

Mine turns on and scans once but wont connect. If I try the rescan option it will either do nothing or reboot the phone. I tried a fresh install of the rom and still no go. I also updated the prl and profile still no go.

I ran it again with my signal blocked (don't ask). Same results.
ok... so after digging inside its pretty easy to see that there are entries missing... ones that should still be inside.
im not sure if putting them back there will break the hack or not though...
so im trying it out real quick...
keep in mind that calk tweak was only done on the cmda... smali file... not all over all of the files u change vaelek.
i ported it before from the 3.29 to the 3.30 framework... so i kinda know what he did... but this framework has over 300 different files in it compared to the 3.30 or 3.29.
im happy u had the time to really weed out the files... makes it so much easier now to find whats the differences.

btw... it works perfect on 3g.

I mean can u manually input othr APN settings, for instance, im on ATT and I know my APN settings almost by heart I assume u can enter T-Mobile also

I gotta say I always disable my APN so I dont get my DATA charges to high, I always change the APN TYPE as soon as I flash a ROM, its the first thing I do, so this might be handy. But we all know it will end up buggin the crap outta of us having a setting not working

Thanks man. Yea, this APN thing is a tough one, this ROM is awesome and smooth but the APN needs to be set in the ROM before flashing and unfortunately thats where my know how goes by by. Dang, hope someone figures this out.
EDIT: Ok, so I put in the settings and turned on 2g networks only and then turned 2g back off again and now I have data. So that worked for me!
Try that and see if it works for you.
Data is flying for me, syncing and location all work!

Already got it working, no need to mess with the zip file. Putting it into 2g then back again forces it to find the correct network to go with the settings. It will work then.

This is not the same as above roms.This rom should be smoother and more stable.It has ram tweaks.You need to Wipe,it might do it for you but just to make sure wipe before flashing.sorry There shouldn't be any problems with the pri or prl mine was 1.7 and60662 before and after!visual voicemail doesnt work.Yahoo mail won't let you sign in,just use the internet.I"ve used this rom for about a week,it's stable enough to use everyday.

I may take alook at this one.
After I first got my PRI fixed I was in my original backup which was 1.5. Went to Damage1 and my PRI was still the same. Went to Damage2.0 and my PRI changed. Fixed again and went back to 1.5 then back to Damage and PRI was still at 1.7xxxx.So it didn't change in the ROM that was suppose to mess it up in but changed after I switched ROMs. Anyways...I'm not sure why people are worried. Just install new ROM and update profile and PRL. See if it works. If not then do the fix in the current ROM.
Has anyone tried wired or wireless tether on this ROM yet?

Works great on EVO, I havn't read through the INC thread yet but this is really fast.
When data is connected it shows 1X and when data is not connected it show 3G

i'm having the same troubles are you are. Even rewiped twice and same thing. I'll just keep an eye out for this one.
Anybody else getting a line error of like line 269....can't install busy box or something like that? (Sorry, was not able to write down the specifics at the time....if I try it again I will get all error information). It will work if you apply the fix, but it doesn't seem like it is complete and the internet connection is really slow.....may try to re-download the Z port rom in case it was bad....but I have tried all of Inc's roms and haven't run into this yet. Also, with the MYTOUCH port, it is really weird. I love the port, but if I sign into Google, it seems to know that I am on Sprint, and then the internet connection gets disconnected. If I leave everything anonymous, then it works.

I was having issues with reception as well.
Liked the rom, just needed to be able to make phone calls. Played a round in phone settings as well to no avail.
I've been running this for a couple of days now. It's AWESOME. I have had really no problems except for there being no camera. This is not a problem, but 3g shows a "1x" but thqt is probably because of the Verizon roots of this Rom.
All in all, the new sense is great and I really don't want to leave it. I might have to because I want the camera back. If you don't mind not having a camera, this is a daily driver for sure.
Does anyone know if a modified MAIL.APK has been made to allow for all the emails to be pushed from Multiple Exchange Servers?
The first one will setup correctly. But the ones afterwards only allow for sync intervals not push.
Also I have been getting sync errors with my Exchange Server with this particular MAIL.APK compared to the other ones. I might swap them out from another build. When i add more than one Exchange Account to any of the Z or HD Sense MAIL.APK's I get sync errors or contact and calendar sync errors.
The only reason I like to use the MAIL.APK is that the widget is tied to into this MAIL.APK.
I can use the EMAIL.APK from CM 6.1 and it works fine but doesn't have a tie in with the widget which I like.
Any thoughts?

Hey drowning... You may want to double check your rom. XD I got no capacitive buttons right now. I can fix myself, but others may not understand. But wifi working is absolutely beautiful.
Nice work ill wait though till it gets most bugs ironed out

I think I may have a few HW fixes, but not sure yet. Could be a boot loop. Lets find out!
Btw to all who use this: When you hit shutdown, but your going into HBOOT for Recovery, make sure to take the battery out before you try. It tends to try to Hot Restart itself when you dont take the battery out.

That could be why! No idea how to nail it, but not worried about it. Gotta worry about this HW. Which I just got stuck at splash screen with. Stuck on Flushing Chain part. Gonna try a complete wipe. Nope. That didn't work either. Okkayyyyy... What the heck did I change!

Yeah! I noticed that. Another way to get around that without taking the battery out is to uncheck the Fastboot under the Power settings.
Disk drive mounting works for me. No idea about you guys.

So... I'm really confused now.
Multiple searches, and reading tons of this forum on a daily basis for several months now had led me to the conclusion that the i727 and i727R are identical hardware... how is it possible that this isn't working on Rogers? Could it be something as silly as an environment variable set differently somewhere?
Looking forward to seeing a post that somebody cracks this puzzler soon. As far as I can tell all of the ATT and Rogers ROMS up to now were interchangable...
Have I misunderstood, or are these phones not physically (chipset, hardware...) identical?

They are as identical as two phone with different branding can be. The software is different and that leak is very AT&T specific. So there's something in there that screws up the R. If you take it south and run an AT&T SIM I'll bet it works just fine. The good news is that it is software so someone will find it and make a more generic version. Besides, I'm here to *not* run a stock ROM so I'm staying far away until it settles down and the devs have dived in.

Alright, beautiful. this works on my Rogers i727R. Just I have the home button issue. I'll look over the phone to see what else is working and not working over the next few hours while I'm in class.

Edit:
1) Receiving errors when trying to download apps on the market.
2) Trying to fix the home button. It works on start up on the homescreen, but once an app opens it stops working.
both known issues with fixes. (the main at&t threads talk about his)
Factory reset until home issue goes away
clear data/force stop to download apps.

Here's how I fixed that. I ran dark side super wipe before install then install, run wipe data factory/ reset, wipe dalvik, fix permissions. (Overkill but hey just in case). After, when first boot comes up and the AT&T setup shows, click cancel then next. RIGHT when that's done pull the battery, before any apps install. Start back up and was fine, no home button issue but still no working reboot menu.

I had that same error on my skyrocket but it fixed after i did a factory reset and the market updated to the play store.
I figured that was the problem, but my market won't update. Anything I can do to force it to update to Play Store?

a while back i had the problem where it wouldn't update so i just had my girlfriend send the Play Store apk to me from her skyrocket with an app sharer and that caused it to work
eventually it will. automatically maybe try clearing data as previously mentioned but then do a soft reset?

Yup. It eventually did randomly.
Last problem I'm encountering is I seem to be stuck on 4G and unable to get LTE, unless the icon at the top is having trouble.

Nice! Does this update the modem & baseband as well? Can you post a screen of your About Phone settings?
