Earlier today everything was great. Then about Noon I started getting process.android.corea force closes. Finally had to do a factory data reset. Finally back to somewhat stable but I can't download anything from any market. Full market shows everything but when I try to download I get "com.android.vending" stopped unexpectedly force close and If I try to download from Handango I get "com.android.browser" stopped unexpectedly Force close.
My environment is:
Viewsonic stock ROM + Gmarket update + Video update.
Followed the Super thread to root, market, ADB, LauncherPRO
Side loaded flash.
I'm still a relative NOOB and could really use some help with this.
EDIT: Went ahead and flashed to TnT Lite 2.2, Fingers crossed, hopefully problem solved. yup...FIXED

Hi all,
I'll try to make this short. JF's 1.41, apps and data moved to sdcard. everything has been fine till I decided to update my theme. After the theme update the power management app started to crash. I reinstalled it but that didn't work. To quick fix I decided to wipe. After wipe com.google.gapps crashes and now my phone can't connect. I wiped again and reinstalled JF 1.41 but its still crashing. How can I get my phone connected again?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
typo above..its the com.google.process.gapps
I've been searchin everywhere and can't find an answer. As of now I have no phone.
So far I think I fixed it. Had to flash all the way back to r29. Installed JF's 1.41 and theme. So far so good. Hope my issue and fix helps someone in need.
Hey,
First post here so be gentle .
Got my phone on friday and installed this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926507
Was going fine until this morning.
Phone had run out of battery overnight and when i turned it on in the morning everything was force closing.
I cant open any app without it force closing.
I uninstalled all the apps i installed (adw launcher, some games etc.)
Still the same problem.
So what do i do? Start from scratch?
Thanks for any help
Alex
On the link u posted if you scroll down a bit you will se it says what you need to flash this rom
if you mean radio etc.? i did all that stuff...
it flashed successfully and was working great.
Just now it has stopped working...
Is the rom working correctly, just apps dont run?
Assume your on magldr 1.3 yh?
Try to find in Forum, maybe to solve the problem is to install the ROM again,,,but im not sure.

I Am clueless on how this happened and on how to fix it, one day I turn on my gtablet, running Vegan 5 without the supplement package, and instead of everything opening up normally, an interface came up telling me that ADW launcher has stopped working and shortly afterwards a bunch more force closes scattershot at me. . . I reset it, same thing, I rebooted from clockwork, same thing. . . What do I do? Do I repartition the sdcard?

Had similar with TNT. Used titanium backup to wipe app data. Didn"t lose anything in the process.
My market will not download anything at all, it loops 'downloading' and 'download paused' then fails out. Currently running Eclipse v1.1 with imnuts PBJ non-oc kernal.
I tried the market fix posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1121179 and tried swapping out the Vending.apk. I cleared the data/cache as well, that didn't do anything either.
I also tried Gummy Charged(1.8.1 and 1.8.5) and Humble 1.1 roms, still no dice.
Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated.
Go into applications in the settings menu. Force stop and clear data then retry. If that doesn't work try restarting the phone. That worked for me.

I had tried doing that with all the roms I ran, didn't do anything. I just odined back to ED1 and market is working. Going to flash back to Eclipse and see what happens.
That was my second idea. Lol. Was to just reflash the ROM. Hope that works for you.
Back up and working, weird.
try opening your google talk, i had that problem before on my Incredible and by doing that and logging it in, it fixed it.
9020t running CM9 3.4 w/ stock kernal, has been running perfectly fine but all of a sudden this morning multiple apps give me the error "Unfortunately **** has stopped". Along with that I know at least 1 app disappeared, my launcher reset to default, and apps that had already been granted superuser are asking for it again. Chrome prompts "Critical Functionality required to run Chrome is missing; either your Chrome installation is incomplete, or not compatible with this version of Android".
Going to do a full fresh wipe, wondered if anyone else has had this happen recently.

I had this happen with my old LG Optimus T, Booting into recovery and wiping the cache's did the trick to fix it without wiping the whole phone. But if that fails then a full wipe/re-flash would be required.
If you're going to do a full wipe anyway, I suggest you reflash CM9 as well, Just in case the flash image somehow became corrupt.
