Hi all,
I'll try to make this short. JF's 1.41, apps and data moved to sdcard. everything has been fine till I decided to update my theme. After the theme update the power management app started to crash. I reinstalled it but that didn't work. To quick fix I decided to wipe. After wipe com.google.gapps crashes and now my phone can't connect. I wiped again and reinstalled JF 1.41 but its still crashing. How can I get my phone connected again?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
typo above..its the com.google.process.gapps
I've been searchin everywhere and can't find an answer. As of now I have no phone.
So far I think I fixed it. Had to flash all the way back to r29. Installed JF's 1.41 and theme. So far so good. Hope my issue and fix helps someone in need.

I updated to jf1.41 the other day and put on a theme and now I get force closes when I phone calls. This is the 2nd time. After the 1st I wiped my phone and reinstalled rc29 to jf1.41 and put on a diff theme and it is doing it again. Is there a fix for this?
I've had it happen several times as well.
It sucks.
Maybe the cause of the problem is the theme, I would avoid it for now to avoid the force closing of the phone.
How would I revert back to stock theme without reflashing jf1.41?

Thank you. I fixed it all up while at work. The original theme deleted my multitouch browser so I reflashed 1.41 and everything works flawlessly.
Hi,
Successfully updated to ADP1 JF 1.41 but I'm unable to get IM working.
It starts but immediately says "android.process.im has stopped unexpectedly"
Any suggestions for fixing this?
Cheers,
Grant
wipe your phone.....
Mmmm.... so is that a common issue that wiping (again) would fix, or just the standard thing to try after an update?
As I did do that after the upgrade, so I'm reluctant to do it again after getting everything setup and working (ie most apps are installed and the phone settings are completed).
Perhaps I should look at some log files - perhaps dmesg? if not what else?
when i updated mine from ADP1.1 to RC33 i didn't wipe beforehand and that caused many of the core processes to stop unexpectedly and my phone was unable to sync with google.
wiping and updating again solved everything. now it works perfectly
i am trying to run CM7 and everytime i reboot the phone never starts and i get this error. i can fix this by formatting the cache and all but still it is a pain.
any help out there?
( i reflashed the rom and nstead of using titanuim to restore my apps i did them manually through the market and also downloaded the google apps from the market individually and so far i am doing great. i rebooted the phone 5 times straight and all is working well. i am going to go out on a limb and say that my problem is solved. i hope i helped someone with the same problem)
also if a mod wants to remove this post you aren't hurting my feelings. thanks guys your all the best !!!!!
Is anyone else experiencing market issues after updating firmware to 4.0.3? I can see my apps and search etc fine but when I try to download an app it says:
"... could not be downloaded because due to an error. (-101)"
I tried flashing the 4.0.1 firmware since market was working on it, but i still get the same issue.
I also tried clearing market cache and date, force closing it, and nothing works. I also tried reinstalling market and still same issue.
Anybody has an idea what the problem is and how to fix it?
Try clearing the cache and dalvik in recovery. also what i would do is go into cwm first reflash and then fix permissions then clear those things.

Market Problems - Solution
I was having the exact same issues. I was running MIUI.us 1.12.23. I went online and found 1.12.30. Once I upgraded my problem was gone.
However, the new firmware is still eating up my battery!

I was having the same problems after 4.0.3 RUU install (rooted).
I cleared the market data and cache and UNINSTALLED MARKET UPDATE rebooted my device and everything was fine!
Hey guys whats up was messing round with my phone today, and well I got some kinda bug for the life of me I do not understand. I know this kinda bug gets to lots of people. Maybe possible to a malicious app? Or corrupted system files? No idea.
Information:
model : HTC Inspire 4g
Kernel : 3.0.83 Jellytime_42_R9-gee5143f
Android v : 4.2.2
ROM : JellyTime_R11
Baseband : 12.69a.60.29U_26.17.14.11_M
Moments just before the bug appeared:
Was just browsing google play installed talkatone, clueful, Uninstalled some apps, wifi related stuff, and others. (getting hard to remember)
Booted into recovery cleared dalvik cache, and cache. Rebooted. System updated as usual
Installed exposed module root cloak, and master key vulnerability fixes, Rebooted. Shortly after started noticing bug. Upgrading on reboot, it doesnt go through every app. just a few. Perhaps something got corrupted? Hoping someone with more experience in debugging can help me out. I fails to do a recent backup just b4 doing all of this. I have a backup but it's getting old, and kinda wanted to try to fix whats happening if possible. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated
Now I'm not 100% sure this is exactly everything I did, I'm pretty positive it was along those lines, and round bout that order.
Attaching a partial catlog, can anyone help me understand whats happening in this log? I can get more complete log if needed.
