Android Robot Can See You!
I updated all the files below with a zip that contains eyes at all times.
Ground Rules:
Must have root
You must get the file for your ROM. If you pick another you will go into a bootloop
If your ROM is not listed you may request it, It usually takes me a day or two to get a zip up. You can also use the Ninja Morph way described below
If you get an error about file verification problems turn the file verification off. the new verification method does not work with my zips.
If you are using a custom theme inside your ROM you need to download the one that works with your theme. I would be more than happy to build a ZIP for your theme, I just need you to link my to it.
For example: You may have cyanogen mod 6.1.2 with the Project Bliss theme. In this case you need the Project Bliss file NOT the CM 6.1.2
If you like, Please take the time to say thanks
If this breaks your phone its not my fault, Always do a backup before you flash anything
Special Thanks to wright3d who did work on the eyes.

Looks cool man, congrats on your first release!!
My suggestion, would be have a full Android outline that had a green color inside of the outline that went down with battery drop. Like a glass of water thats half full, you still see the top half of the glass, but you know only the bottom half has something in it. I think you should see the full Android outline at all times, just the interior color go away....hope that makes sense
Thats a great idea! I was having a hard time coming up with an idea, because the current one when almost dead, is just feet and very hard to see. I am off to work now but that will be my project for tonight.
I honesty don't expect any one to use this, I am just using this thread to show off my work and get input from XDA, like I did. That said, if you do want to use this more power to you!
If you set it up like that then I will put on my phone and check it out. If it does look good, then I know my fiance will love it and I'll be putting it on hers for sure.
that is pretty sweet and I agree with stanglifemike, with the full body outline I could see this would be pretty popular. Thanks for the work.
I updated with outlines!
Awesome man!! This looks really cool and is really different from anything else than others have done. Congrats on this, and I look forward to your future work as well!!
Great job man! I like the outlined version much better. I had a suggestion for you. With your new version when the batt is full, the droid has eyes. When the battery drains below the droids head, the eyes disappear. It would be cool if you could change the eye color from black to green once the battery drains far enough and then coincide the color with the battery level from there on out (yellow to red, etc.). It might not even be noticeable, given the size of the icon, but just a thought. Either way, nice job!

I want this on my phone but i have no idea how to use NinjaMorph. Any help?
I also need assistance using the ninjamorph app. Please reply asap.

I put a quick guide in.
Anyone try this on CM 6.1.1?
I will do this right now. Please give me a little time to flash CM 6.1.1
Edit: This should work on CM 6.1.1 using the same directions. It did for me. Please just in case you run into a problem, do a full backup!
I just followed your guide to the T and at the point when I am to replace the file with yours, ninjamorph does not show that I even have your icon file. I downloaded it again just to be sure...I got the same result. What am I not doing? And do you think your design can be used along with the percentage reading .zip inside of my current battery icon?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I'm sorry. Did you make sure to unzip and place my icons folder on your SDcard? Then you must navigate to it in the file browser.
I am not sure about the % zip as I am unsure what your talking about.
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Thank you. I previously used a .zip that allows my battery icon to show the % remaining on the inside of the icon.

Ok I am going to say yes. My theme just changes the image that is shown as the battery, no code has been changed. That said I am not sure how it will look and align with my battery. If you do it, let me know how it looks.

Hey banksj17 whats up pimpin. Question have you ever been to UOT Kitchen?
I got stuck in a bootloop doing this =/. I did it on CM 6.1.1 and followed the instructions. However, I was also running a custom theme, would that have caused the issue perhaps?
I also did not zipalign after I was done.

This package is a mixture of Super Circle Battery and Smooth Sense Icons. I am not the original author of these mods, full credit goes to the respected authors! I am however the creator of Smooth Circle Battery. For bugs or suggestions, please consult the original thread(s). Please save this thread for comments pertaining to this remix!
Original thread: Smooth Sense Icons
Original thread: Super Circle Battery
Smooth Circle Battery is just a remix of Super Circle Battery. It is smooth scrolling for those that prefer it over the 'block' style.
Requires a deodexed ROM!
I have created six versions of this package:
Blue version:

*Update 8/10*
For those who mix their own mods, here are the files you should copy into your mod for just the Smooth Circle Battery:
framework-res.apk/res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml
framework-res.apk/res/drawable/stat_sys_battery_charge.xml
framework-res.apk/res/drawable/zzz_stat_sys_battery_1.xml
framework-res.apk/res/drawable/battery_charge_fill.xml
framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi-v4/stat_sys_battery_0.png (0 through 100)
framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi-v4/stat_sys_battery_charge_anim0.png (0 through 33)
framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi-v4/stat_sys_battery_unknown.png
That should be all of them, I think...
*Update 8/12*
New red version
*Update 8/27*
This mod works on the new 8/26 Froyo leak (MUST BE DEODEXED!), but does not contain the same images as the leak! This affects a great deal of the GUI, such as the lockscreen and buttons. I am trying to find a way to port these icons to the new framework, and will open a new thread when I have!
Tested and confirmed on: SkyRaider 2.2 Vanilla & Sense; Second Wave
Remember: Always nandroid before applying any mod!
This worked brilliantly, thank you soooo much!!
thanks, looks good
Glad you like it! I just updated it to be smooth scrolling. Its now one sexy beast!
those look nice man great job...
does this have transparent shade as well..?
I'm working on trying to roll the super circle icons into my own theme and need to know what files, besides the battery icon pngs, need to be changed to make it work. Thanks!
Using Adrenyline's Evo port rom and, while this did add the scrolling icons and circular battery meter, the battery meter was a bit messed up. While charging, it would always show 98, then 99, then full. When unplugged, it showed some random headphone-looking icon and not the battery meter.
Can this be rebuilt into the stock framework-res.apk?
Hi everyone -- I was just wondering if it's possible for someone to rebuild these great smooth scrolling battery icons into the standard framework-res.apk that comes with the Froyo leak.
I noticed that the framework-res.apk in this mod is structured differently than the stock file, which makes it a little confusing to theme further.
I'd do it myself, but I have no idea how to correctly recompile the necessary XML files so they're pointing to the right graphics...
Just an idea...
I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question...
Do you need to be rooted in order to try this mod?

Yeah, you do.
Are both of these supposed to be blue? Could you maybe make a regular green one?
My apologies in advance as well, but I tried searching the forum and google and didn't really find anything but to install this mod, do you just place the zip file on the root of your sd card and then do the install zip from sdcard in the recovery mode? (I am new to all of this and just barely finished rooting and installing sky raider 2.2)

I think the remixed one changes color as the battery charge goes down. Not entirely sure about this, though. I'm at 90% now, and it's still blue.
EDIT: Confirmed, green begins at 79%.
Yeah both of them are blue someone wanna make a green version? lol the blue doesn't really go with my theme but it looks smooth.. green would be perfect.
is there any way we can get that battery ported for the original droid? i dont know if it would be hard or not, but its great. the theme also looks pretty amazing, but im not on the DI.
Works great. Thanks for merging the 2.
How odd, I thought my battery life was going in the ****ter, as I'd go from 100% green to 90% blue (even after a battery recalibration). Steady 1%-increment counts down to about 84%, so I checked the on-phone meter under Settings and found that it was at 96%. Sure enough, go out and download a battery widget, it shows 96%. Went in, rebooted twice (first reboot had the wrong SD card in it ), flashed the original post #54 green-yellow-red battery, rebooted once more and all is back working accurately.
Just wanted to give the play-by-play in case anyone else seemed to be experiencing any inconsistencies since flashing the mashup.
edit: re-flashing the smooth scroll + smooth circle allowed it to now reflect the proper battery usage. Sitting steady @ 92%
i too experienced some issue with it dropping to 90% instantly after unplugging power. reflashing mod fixed it for me.
i dont know if i merged both of these things right, im still trying to get into it! but i will go ahead and release a green version in the next few days
This is a port of a port. All credit for creativity goes to edint3000 for the theme and Bigloof for the original port to the Fascinate and some of the images used.
The original theme can be found here.
The Fascinate port can be found here.
Give them a check and some thanks for all of their hard work if you get a chance. When I saw this, I really thought some of you guys would like it so I got to work moving some png's and doing a few xml changes. This is what I came up with.

Looks awesome. I'll give this a go tonight. Thanks as always!
Thanks phidelt!
Quick question for you, I really love the carbon fiberesque look of the slide down from the Dark Gloss theme, but I really like everything else about this Midnight theme, would that be as simple as an edit to a .png (or a swap)? (The way it's animated I would think the buttons at the top and the actual notification slider part would be separate images and could possibly be swapped from theme to theme, but I know nothing .)
works well and looks nice....good job!

There's a few things involved with it. I really like the carbon fiber drops also. Once things die down and we get this 2.2 up and running I'm going to build my own theme and that is one of the features that it will have. As far as swapping out one drop down for another, I haven't done it, but I'm sure it is pretty easy. There may be a few .9 files that will have to be taken in to consideration but that should be the worst of it.
Awesome, sounds good man! Thanks for the response!
looks and works Great on the Showcase
of course I had to tweak the notification bar
Got this flashed and out looks great. Just a quick question...on the original theme they were able to change some app designs (market was one). Is that something we can get or do we not have that functionality?

That will be in v1.1 as soon as I can get to it. I tried to get it going in v1.0, but it wasn't as easy as moving the png files like normal. That's why I used the port instead of the original. I might be getting a break from this project I'm working on now, so that might be something I can work on in my spare time.
Not a big deal just gives me something to look forward to on some new themes. If that project is froyo then you just keep plugging away and ignore the rest of us!

Hi,
I just made a red theme that works with the Cyanogenmod 7 nightlies. I'm a Droid Incredible user, and I wasn't quite satisfied with the themes that were currently available (No offense to the devs who made them, they just weren't my style). So I made a theme that goes really well with the DInc hardware.
I originally posted in the Android general theming section, but wanted to make sure none of my fellow DInc users missed out. You can find the original thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=943071
Very nice. Thanks a lot!
I can't get the frame to stick red .. I wonder why? I have the icons and apps red but not the frame stuff, I wondrous if its cause I had a theme before installing red?

Try to reboot your phone and let me know if that helps. Some of the things need a phone reboot to fully take effect.
i did bro, i re-booted about 3 times lol im on CM7 #26 is this for the lates nightly #27 maybe ?oh and also i was running a white theme before and not the stock theme, meybe why ?
Hmm. I haven't seen that before. I'm on #26 right now, so it probably isn't that. Do you mind switching back to stock theme and switching to this? You probably still will need to reboot after that.
That cool ill try that. I'm just at work doing ...nothing lol how can I witch back to stock tho? On the app theme right! ?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Yep, it's the theme all the way to the right in theme chooser. The theme chooser app has a bug or two, but nothing we can't deal with. The fact that we're all using the CM nightly builds goes to show that we all want the newest features and are willing to put up with a couple bugs while they are ironed out.
downloading this now hehe
naw bro. didnt work. the theme all the way to the right its the "system" theme and for some reason when i install "System" theme its actually my white them that i had flashed before .... damn, that sucks cause really liked that red theme of yours. \
Okay, based on that it probably has something to do with that other theme. Do you mind sending me a link to that so I can take a look and trouble shoot?
sure man . its the "frost" white theme here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=853923
i havent seen your lock screen but i think the same type in red would be sick looking ..
Ah, I think I know why. I think that "old-style" (as in two week old) flashable roms break the way the theme chooser works. I think you will need to flash a fresh copy of Cyanogenmod. You can flash a new nightly or the one that you already are using. You just need a fresh copy. You do NOT need to wipe data. Just having a fresh copy should do the trick. Switch to the stock theme before installing the rom, just to be safe.
I agree on the lock screen, but haven't been able to theme it yet. They're still working on a way to make the volume adjust and lock screen themeable. The issue is that element needs to restart while theme chooser is running for the theme to apply. I think the problem is that both of them start on boot before theme chooser starts. Hopefully they can work this out to make things really polished top to bottom.
thanks your all the tec support brom im gonna try that now, (and buy the app i had the free one) lol when you said fresh copy of Cyanogenmod you mean nighly #27 or a fresh #26 witch is what im on right now . also it should now be and old - style cause i yous flashed this two days ago.!
Any version should be fine. If you've got the time to flash #29, it just hit last night. If you want to save time by not having to download and stick on #26, that works just as well.
this is awesome. Running latest CM7 nightly (#29) and this theme. Any chance we can get the notification pulldown buttons themed in red instead of green?
Here's what my phone looks like right now.

Ha, Its funny you should mention that. I'm working on theming the icons right now (update should be out sometime today). To theme the green buttons, go to
Settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> Interface -> Indicator Color.
Your setup looks killer.
Oh man I guess they don't have #26 any more on rom manager ... any one has a link to it. I really don't wanna go throght the procces of flashing #29 all over again
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
You should be able to still get it. in Rom-manager, select download rom from sd card. Then it takes you to your sd card. go to
SD card -> clockworkmod -> downloads -> mirror-teamdouche-net -> inc -> click on the nightly you want.
I'm installing #29 on my phone right now, so I can't verify, but it should be something like that.
Nice to have a red option as the Inc has red on it. I think it's a great match. One thing that I've thought was odd though is changing themes through the Theme Chooser doesn't change everything....there are still mismatches in color throughout the software, especially the lockscreen. You'd think it would change the sliders (or at least the green one to unlock) to red as well. Thanks for this
For those of you that like the colored status bar and notification icons that m00nman posted, you will be able to find them here from now on, since it seems he doesn't have the time or desire to keep them up to date. I plan on continuing to update these as weaponx also updates. I am by no means a developer or modder; this is my first "project" of this type and m00nman did most of the work so thanks to him. This is mostly for my own amusement and learning. If you have any problems or suggestions let me know and I'll do my best to address them.
Anyways, here is a flashable ZIP that will install the aforementioned icon pack to your weapon x 3.0 r1 ROM.
Thanks to jcbofkc for the zip, I didn't know how to make one until he provided it.
Let me know if you like it, a simple thanks will do!

I am sure frescoraja or I could later today, but you can do it yourself using UOT kitchen. It is very easy to use. I am a complete novice when it comes to this stuff, but I was able to figure it out. You can change the battery to whatever look you prefer and keep everything else the same including the kick ass toggles. Under the battery option there is one that is green the majority of the time until it get low and tuns red.

I posted the same one from my post in the other thread. I thought that mine included the colored notification icons that yours has (minus the big alarm clock icon, and maybe a couple of others).. But now that I won't be using the g2x, I am going to change the OP to include your icons.
what i do is really simple, first I use 7zip or winrar to extract the apks from the zip files. Then I use apk manager to "unzip" the apk's and then just replace the png files in the weaponX rom apk with the corresponding png files from m00nman's apks. Then you "zip" it back up in apk manager (leave the apk unsigned because they are system apps), and then i just paste the new apks over the old apks in your zip archive.
I just got an HTC sensation as a warranty exchange for my g2x, so I probably won't be updating these any more. I think you're more than capable, jcbofkc but let me know if you have any questions.
In case any one is interested, in many ways i regret getting the sensation (qHD display looks like ****E compared to g2x's lcd, and the thing lags like crazy compared to the snappy g2x), but i know i can always sell it and buy another g2x with cash left over. The main benefit to the sensation is the amount of roms to choose from, and the HTC amaze's camera app has been ported to the sensation. If LG announces plans to update the g2x to Ice cream sandwich, I'll be back in a heartbeat.
Thanks frescoraja, I will keep the thread updated. Might even try a couple of other versions for those that want to keep their rom "as is" plus a little nicer status bar. I will see you again after the ICS update.
Okay first lets start off on saying i am not responsible for your phone messing up or looking different nor is anyone else that is your fault
none of these zips are signed unfortunately when i tried it keeped messing up BUT YOU DONT NEED THEM SIGNED!!
red voodoo cwm just install them
if on yellow cwm [main menu> install zip> signature check> disable] now look for the zip and installPlease note this will make your phone stuff blue like nexus jb 1.3.1
if anyone would like to sign them for me id really appreciate it
Special thanks to:
demkantor (as these were built off of his honeycomb battery zip and also giving a easy to understand tut)
and everyone who made the icons (to lazy to find them all out because it would be almost impossible

Well, guess I didn't have to make it myself, immorality already done most of it, lol.
I'll be adding some other battery icon later in this thread, so that easier to everyone to search battery themes.
Yes it would be great an try to upload a pic of both the batter an the charging battery so people can see what it looks like (saves alot of time instead of flashing 10 different battery's)

okay i am thinking about taking this theming thread one step further and (copy and paste other peoples theme into a flash)
if i do end up doing this i will try to get the basic colors ex green, blue, red, yellow, brown, black/white and pink for the ladies c; ahah
anyone have any suggestions on colors i should do first IF i do try?
p.s. if i do this the batterys will not be changed as it will take awhle putting each battery into each theme so i will recommend either suggesting what you want an ill upload it real fast or USING ROM TOOLBOX
Sounds like fun! You should consider learning how to use the kitchen for some relatively easy theming. It takes a little to get used to it but you caught on real quick so I'm sure you could learn this as well.
Maybe see if ricandroid has some free time (I know his busy with life right now) and see if he would work on a project with you, his theming skills are up there with the best of them!
If not what you plan sounds like it would be well liked, I could help you create an aroma package if you would like that can allow the user to pick which theme to which icon to whatever. Nice but of course the best way is to learn which xml files to edit and allow them to be done within the ROM, a lot more work bit doable.
