Hi,
I just made a red theme that works with the Cyanogenmod 7 nightlies. I'm a Droid Incredible user, and I wasn't quite satisfied with the themes that were currently available (No offense to the devs who made them, they just weren't my style). So I made a theme that goes really well with the DInc hardware.

I can't get the frame to stick red .. I wonder why? I have the icons and apps red but not the frame stuff, I wondrous if its cause I had a theme before installing red?

Try to reboot your phone and let me know if that helps. Some of the things need a phone reboot to fully take effect.
i did bro, i re-booted about 3 times lol im on CM7 #26 is this for the lates nightly #27 maybe ?oh and also i was running a white theme before and not the stock theme, meybe why ?
Hmm. I haven't seen that before. I'm on #26 right now, so it probably isn't that. Do you mind switching back to stock theme and switching to this? You probably still will need to reboot after that.

Yep, it's the theme all the way to the right in theme chooser. The theme chooser app has a bug or two, but nothing we can't deal with. The fact that we're all using the CM nightly builds goes to show that we all want the newest features and are willing to put up with a couple bugs while they are ironed out.

Ah, I think I know why. I think that "old-style" (as in two week old) flashable roms break the way the theme chooser works. I think you will need to flash a fresh copy of Cyanogenmod. You can flash a new nightly or the one that you already are using. You just need a fresh copy.You do NOT need to wipe data. Just having a fresh copy should do the trick. Switch to the stock theme before installing the rom, just to be safe.
I agree on the lock screen, but haven't been able to theme it yet. They're still working on a way to make the volume adjust and lock screen themeable. The issue is that element needs to restart while theme chooser is running for the theme to apply. I think the problem is that both of them start on boot before theme chooser starts. Hopefully they can work this out to make things really polished top to bottom.

Any version should be fine. If you've got the time to flash #29, it just hit last night. If you want to save time by not having to download and stick on #26, that works just as well.
this is awesome. Running latest CM7 nightly (#29) and this theme. Any chance we can get the notification pulldown buttons themed in red instead of green?

Ha, Its funny you should mention that. I'm working on theming the icons right now (update should be out sometime today). To theme the green buttons, go to
Settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> Interface -> Indicator Color.

Oh man I guess they don't have #26 any more on rom manager ... any one has a link to it. I really don't wanna go throght the procces of flashing #29 all over again

You should be able to still get it. in Rom-manager, select download rom from sd card. Then it takes you to your sd card. go to
SD card -> clockworkmod -> downloads -> mirror-teamdouche-net -> inc -> click on the nightly you want.
I'm installing #29 on my phone right now, so I can't verify, but it should be something like that.
Nice to have a red option as the Inc has red on it. I think it's a great match. One thing that I've thought was odd though is changing themes through the Theme Chooser doesn't change everything....there are still mismatches in color throughout the software, especially the lockscreen. You'd think it would change the sliders (or at least the green one to unlock) to red as well. Thanks for this

I like it except the iPhoney icons. The fonts are really smart and the status bar icons and clear widgets work very nicely
Looking nice... and I second the iphoney icons can't wait to see this as a separate theme ported for other ROMs besides CM.
The icons don't bother me much since I just use custom ones via Launcher Pro anyway, but your battery icon looks a bit tiny. Is it percentage-friendly, by any chance?
Dang...looks sharp! That's what I like. The Sharpness of it. Too many other themes seem like they were colored with Crayons and not Colored Pencils...LoL...best analogy I can come up with!
+1 on making it available for other ROMs (Enom's) after you're done tuning it.
Edit: First Boot ... Stuck on BootLoader screen for a few minutes... wiping again and reinstalling a second time...

That's a widget, it comes with an option to have a dark transparent backdrop like that. I used to use it before I switched to Beautiful Smaller Home.
I flash this theme on my cm rc1 rom and nothing happens ! My phone freeze
doesn't work, stick on boot screen...can you update?
I've updated the original post, this is now just a theme meant to be flashed over any froyo build. Again I'm uncertain if it will work.. thats what this thread is for lol so please nandroid before flashing and let me know what happens I've gotten several people pming me helping me try to get this thing working!

I am running CM RC1 too so I will eventually get to trying it out for you.
That said, simpler icons for the bar would be nicer...I am taking this from another user but I love the launcher icons in this theme:

I agree but I just suck so terribly at making icons I will do some work on it though and see what I come up with.
I've asked someone specifically from the nexus scene to compile a flashable zip for me for nexus one so it shouldn't be too long hopefully

I updated all the files below with a zip that contains eyes at all times.
Ground Rules:
Must have root
You must get the file for your ROM. If you pick another you will go into a bootloop
If your ROM is not listed you may request it, It usually takes me a day or two to get a zip up. You can also use the Ninja Morph way described below
If you get an error about file verification problems turn the file verification off. the new verification method does not work with my zips.
If you are using a custom theme inside your ROM you need to download the one that works with your theme. I would be more than happy to build a ZIP for your theme, I just need you to link my to it.
For example: You may have cyanogen mod 6.1.2 with the Project Bliss theme. In this case you need the Project Bliss file NOT the CM 6.1.2

My suggestion, would be have a full Android outline that had a green color inside of the outline that went down with battery drop. Like a glass of water thats half full, you still see the top half of the glass, but you know only the bottom half has something in it. I think you should see the full Android outline at all times, just the interior color go away....hope that makes sense
Thats a great idea! I was having a hard time coming up with an idea, because the current one when almost dead, is just feet and very hard to see. I am off to work now but that will be my project for tonight.
I honesty don't expect any one to use this, I am just using this thread to show off my work and get input from XDA, like I did. That said, if you do want to use this more power to you!
If you set it up like that then I will put on my phone and check it out. If it does look good, then I know my fiance will love it and I'll be putting it on hers for sure.

Great job man! I like the outlined version much better. I had a suggestion for you. With your new version when the batt is full, the droid has eyes. When the battery drains below the droids head, the eyes disappear. It would be cool if you could change the eye color from black to green once the battery drains far enough and then coincide the color with the battery level from there on out (yellow to red, etc.). It might not even be noticeable, given the size of the icon, but just a thought. Either way, nice job!

I just followed your guide to the T and at the point when I am to replace the file with yours, ninjamorph does not show that I even have your icon file. I downloaded it again just to be sure...I got the same result. What am I not doing? And do you think your design can be used along with the percentage reading .zip inside of my current battery icon?

I'm sorry. Did you make sure to unzip and place my icons folder on your SDcard? Then you must navigate to it in the file browser.

Ok I am going to say yes. My theme just changes the image that is shown as the battery, no code has been changed. That said I am not sure how it will look and align with my battery. If you do it, let me know how it looks.

Welcome to Slate Sense! This theme is based off the Desire Z/HD skin called Slate. My theme should be compatible with any latest Sense build from a 3.70 deodexed base. This theme is Sense only for the time being. Once CM 7 is more stable I will mess with making this work on it.

Hey maybe its me but my text doesn't show a date and time anymore. It just has a simple 12. I'm flashing another theme to see what the issue is.
Also when I look in my gmail account app it has these weird 3 square boxes. So its like pyroxhadudke...[][][]@gmail.com
Flashing another theme and I'll let you know whats going on.

Install the stock android font and it will fix the boxes.
I'm uploading a new version in about an hour or so with some fixes plus a few more things themed blue instead of green. Will also be including the stock font cause the one im using is giving problems.

As a side question.. any way you can make it display 1x when in a 1x area? There was a AOSP theme I flashed a while back that had my phone display 3G when in 3G and 1x when in 1x (it was flashed on one of the older versions of Steel's ROM so it was sense based). If not it's cool

I'm going to try the v1.1 now since I don't like those boxes looks hackish.
I fixed the other problem of it not showing a date. It was because I kept trying to install the gingerbread keyboard which doesn't play well with 3.70 for now. Is there a recommended gingerbread keyboard that doesn't force close on everything I do jeez haha?

Cool, I do need help. Make a backup quick. I'm assuming you're already on Pnp 2.2...
Download this and follow the instruction;
So far there should only be these problems;
On some dark buttons the text is still dark
The charging animation needs fixed, right now it only shows a few images and the theme I ported has plenty more so I need to edit that xml to get the new images to show.
Other than that let me know

i see what you mean on the buttons and the charge animation...but aside from that so far so good...battery reads right and all that fun stuff...it looks great...i love it like a fat kid loves cake!!! lol...will post back with more feed back

I'll download this theme when it doesn't affect my USB - it looks amazing, I'd just like to avoid downloading the auto-mount app.

I kind of like not having to mount the sd card anyway but whatever floats your boat . Should have the final version done soon, testing attempt one now.
UPDATE: YAY TEST SUCCESS! If you're already on this theme you need to flash back to pnp then go download the updated link (i'm uploading now and will update the first post) usb is now working and batt mod is too! All that's left is getting the button text to white and fix the charge animation, but other than that this should be ready for daily use!

This should have a working charge animation thats hybrid (starts the animation from where you're charging from and what percentage it's at)
The first works as advertised and haven't found any problems you're not aware of.
I'll download the 2nd one now.
Which wallpaper are you using for the carbon fiber? can you link it?

Have you noticed the progress bar seems to flicker? An example of this is when uninstalling an app. I'm not sure if it's supposed to do this as part of the animation however it appears that one of the frames may be reversed?
Also - when you add a shortcut to a contact it appears the frame that is usually around the picture is gone.

I'm not sure about the frame, i never paid much attention to that. As for the flickering, yes that is part of the animation as far as i know.

Did this one by request. Pretty straightforward AOSP GB look for 596. Thanks to Fabolous(@bigxie) for letting me use some of the files from Apex 2.0 to save me a little time. Also I used the Swype GB keyboard from Liberty(JRummy). This theme will let us keep Blur but still have the feel of AOSP.
Most of the blue from MotoBlur should be gone but there are still a couple areas where it might pop up. I will try to fix as I find them. Three flavors to choose from: Standard AOSP GB look, AOSP GB with 10% battery and an alternate version with a glossy notification bar and 10% battery.
You must be on the deodexed 596
It is best to flash the deodexed 596 then install this zip file via Clockwork Recovery.

Thanks for this awesome theme. This is what the gingerbread x update should have looked like. I hated that blue dialer,blue notification bar, just hated blue in general. I have tried all the gingerbread roms out there. It seems like they remove alot of the functionality of the rom like, photo sharing without having to download the facebook app in which it sucks. I tried the second one with the numbers on the battery... bootlooped me. A shame, because I'd love to have this theme. I too hate the shaded blue all over the place. Maybe I'll try again later.

This is the tits!
This is my first ever theme, but I really like it. Was running stock GB and completely hated it. This makes it almost perfect!
Now I can wait patiently for all the bugs to get worked out of CM7.
Is there something I am missing? I have tried to flash the first two of these, and with both, the right side lock slider (the one that controls volume) does not look correctly. It has a whitish tint, while the left side slider looks correct and dark grey. I ran the deodexer to get back to stock, but I would love to use this. The mismatched lock sliders are a dealbreaker.
I appreciate any work put into correcting this or helping me out to fix it.
Edit: the right slider looks correct (dark grey) when I use it and enable silent mode. When I slide it again, it turns back to white (cycles this way).
Awesome theme
New to this whole thing and just put this theme on my phone. Its great for all but one thing. The select color and the "motion stop" color when you scroll and hit the end are yellow.. is there any way to get them in android green, or can you write up a tut on how to change it? I'd like to get them in the same color as the wifi/batt icons.
I paired this up with [Theme] AOSP GB Themed Blur Dialer for .596 so it may be that addition that made it this way but any help would be appreciated.

the deodexed .596 is prerooted.. so i suppose you do have to be rooted... its a pretty painless process.. search flash .596 deodexed.... do it.. no point in dealing with vz's lame unrooted mess. I am kicking myself for not sbf'ing before now... if you're already on the .596 gingerbread ota from vz you should be able to backup and reuse the backup to restore your data

Awesome themes. I'm using them now. No problems so far.
I take that back. Unless I'm missing something, I no longer have the slide to unlock screen working. It automatically goes to the home screen every time now. Anyone else have this happen?
Will this work with .602? If not, will it be updated (please)?
EDIT: I tried installing this on manually deodexed .602 a couple times and just end up with a boot animation loop. So yeah, doesn't work with .602.
EDIT: EDIT: Nevermind, I'm obviously an ADB noob. I used GB_2.3.3_4.5.602_Deodexer.zip instead and all is good. This theme is working fine with .602.
