[Q] HTC Cruise Headache [Need Help] - Touch Cruise General

Hi there,
I have HTC Cruise with the following data:
windows mobile 6.1
SPL-3.13.0000
Pola100
CPLD-2
Radio: 1.59.42.15
My OS is win 7 x64
I had a problem in touch screen after I made hard rest to it, it is insensitive....
I can't get into windows mobile because of the setup message " tap the screen to set up windows...."
I can't make HardSPL to that device using Hard-SPL-V2.
It always stuck at zero....
I couldn't return to original ROM, it says Invalid vendor and filed.
I eventually try to use Android in Haret method, I didn't make it coz It indicate you must log in to windows ....
I need a solution to my complex problem.....
I need to know if I can install android on SD without enter to windows or make HardSPL like Live cd in PC windows????
I need specific steps not just links coz I tried search here , and get lost
I appreciate your efforts and thanks in advance

try to hard reset your device To perform a hard reset
1. Power off your device.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, and then press the POWER button.
The following message then appears on the screen:
HTC Cruise 2 Iolite hard reset
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
if the problem continues take your device into boot loader and flash the original SPL to your device .... hopefully useful and successful for your

to the original SPL HTC Cruise

will do that
I will follow your instructions and inform you by results
I Install winXp SP3 for this issue

let me wait, smartydoctor ! hopefully this time you really work comrade...

Well as i see there is no one answering me the question....
I found my own solution:
Hard Reset:
On the 02 Orbit2, make sure the phone is powered on and then press AND HOLD the Windows and OK buttons down at the same time, THEN use your stylus to press AND RELEASE the reset button (while you CONTINUE to hold down the Windows and OK buttons). You should get a grey-ish/white screen explaining how to complete the hard reset or how to cancel the operation.
If you cannot see anything on your screen due to the OS being totally messed up (in other words, as long as it's not hardware failure), then you need to put your device into bootloader mode (4-color screen) so that you can flash the ROM (either what you already are using, or a newly cooked one - either way you need to have a ROM image file on your computer to complete the flashing process).
Bootloader Mode:
To enter bootloader mode, press AND HOLD the camera button and then press AND RELEASE the soft reset with your stylus. When the screen is showing the 4 color bands, plug in the USB cable between your computer and phone flash the ROM.

Restore a HTC Touch Diamond 2

Hi,
i screwed up my HTC Touch Diamond 2. I uninstalled a program and after that when boot is stuck in an orange screen that says Windows.
I have tried a hard reset holding both - + volume keys and turn on the phone it displays a message exactly like this:
____________________________
Step 3 error while updating :
File operate : File does not exist.
Restart the machine?
___________________________
________________________YES
I tried all the keys but nothing appears to be a YES.
Help! What I can do?
Stevie
Don't panic too much.. just flash a new ROM and you should be fine..
Instructions:
Put a ROM for your Touch Diamond 2 (look in the Touch Diamond ROM Section) onto an EMPTY SD Card. name the ROM topaimg.<cant remember>
Then from there, hold the volume down button and press the red RESET button on the back of the phone. Install the new ROM and it should be okay from there.
How to press yes?
Hi,
Thanks for your help. Your idea seems good but I do not find a way to press the yes that my first screen is demanding.
My HTC is a chinese one that does not have red button.
Thanks
Stevie
That's your problem their! We don't know anything about it because their are so many models out their. The process the member mentioned may not work for yours.

Having the same problem I have SPL-3.03 HSPL & trying to downgrade to SPL 1.66 but won't go into Bootloader. I've tried an 8gb, 4gb & now 1gb card the file has been renamed in the root to LEOIMG.nbh but just get the tri colour screen. Pressing reset button & holding end call & Vol down button.
This is the right file to rename from HTC?

Make sure you are not using the USB cable while trying to enter bootloder. I had the same problem, but once unplugged the cable all was fine.
I'm having a similar problem. I reflashed to the HSPL, no problem. I then used the Rom UPdate Utility, which claimed it had updated my ROM to version 2 (although it took a fraction of the 10 minutes, it said it would). When I now try to boot the phone to install the rest, doesn't matter how much I hold the power key (which I presume is the 'make call' key, as that powers the phone up), it refuses to do anything other than boot to the O2 Welcome screen. I'm noticing the replies aren't very helpful here. Is this what I can expect for the whole forum? As a newbie, I can't make posts on the developers forums, so I can't ask them if they've come across this before. It seems a bit pants, to be honest!

Hi Junks,
The THREE COLOUR SCREEN is BOATLOADER this is FIRST BOOT LOADER or (I Think) the name is H-BOOT. You have to correct ROM for HTC HD2, but CMIIW the rom is for HTC HD2 T8585 (WWE) with 516 Internal Memory. Is your HD2 this Model or another Model famous with name TMOUS (T-Mobile Edition) with 1024 Internal Memory. I believed if you still have tricolor screen easier to "wake up" your phone.
Im haveing the same problems please someone help... a Demonoid invite code is all I have to offer here

HD2 is most great device. what is actually happened. You can brief here what you did before and some background of your HD2, what u have flashed in and what is inside, the more clue probably will help others to point a good thing for you. If No boot loader is the device totally "death"

I usely use SD Builds, but I installed DFT_LEO_MAGLDR113_DAF,HSPL4,MAGLDR_CWM_Recovery_v3.0.2.5_for_NexusHD2_135M,NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.7_NAND__Android-2.3.4__update and wifi-calling-htcleo-gb-20110518 ( Yes I just copy and paste the file names lol) My phone was working fine (Not sure about the bootloader/Tri-color screen) untill a few days ago my android build boots in safe mode I did find a remedy for that and thats by pressing and holding the Call (green), Home and Windows keys down while the android boots, but I have to do that all the time now. What I am trying to do is restore it back to fatory settings. Oh yeah BTW the AMAGLDR bootloader dose boot and also CWM Recovery but while In the aMAGLDR I have to hold the back key to press vol. up and down other wise it will keep moveing back to the top of the list (Its been like that sence I installed MAGLDR) but I do not have any problems with the vol up and down key in any other programs. I am also able to use USB Flasher and any other mode besides Windows Mobile Device Center (Windows 7). I also tried gettng into Sync by installing Windows phone 7 (witch installed fine with USB flash (Useing MAGLDR) but not luck with syncing back to WM6.

Hi. I've tried that combination of keys & I just get the O2 Welcome screen. The only key combination that works is when I power up with the Vol Down key held. I then get the tri-colour screen.
Don't know if this helps but.....
When I get the tri-colour screen, I have the following text:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0X05
CotullaHSPL 0x40

Help me please

Hello. I have a big problem with my HTC Vox, I hope you can help me.
Yesterday I tried to install a new rom on my device. I followed every step, all worked fine. When installing has finished and the device has restarted, appeared a problem. The phone has blocked on the loading process. I can't turn off , the phone doesn't read data cable. I don't know what to do.
I attached a picture to see exactly what i whant to say.
The first boot of a ROM usually takes long as initial setup tasks are executed. Check in the relevant ROM thread if there is anything to take care about.
If even after 15 minutes nothing happens, then try a hard-reset. Switch off (take out battery if needed). Then press and keep holding down both softkeys (L+R) while switching on the device - keep the L+R keys pushed. When the query comes for reset, press the green key.
If you don't succeed, then go back to the original ROM with the standard files from Orange.
Thank you very much. I solved the problem.
And how did you solve it? It may help others with the same problem.
I access boot-loader (Press and hold “Camera + Power” button simultaneously then release the power button first after hold for about 1 seconds, and then the device will enter boot-loader mode.) and then i installed a new rom. I was very simply but for me lasted more to realize how to enter in the boot-loader.
Yes - but this works only with the shipped ROMs - and it will only work for the original one that matches your CID. There is no free CID-Unlock for the VOX, only a CID-bypass with usually a RAM loaded SPL. For that you need to have the OS running to get the SPL loaded there. USPL batchfiles + tools are used for this.
Did you "Hard-SPL" the device first? This means to put the "CID-bypassing" SPL into the ROM? This way you can load any ROM on the VOX in any state of the device (OS up or bootloader).
