Do not install themes over the top of GummyJAR 2.0 unless they were made for 2.0, you will get stuck in a bootloop if you do
Note: If you are having issues with GPS on 2.0 you will need to do a wipe install of 2.1 to fix it!!! Sorry
GummyJar is built for and only tested on 2.3.320/340 based phones.... If you are running 2.3.15 you might have issues Don't worry D2users you are good
GummyJAR is an AOSP like rom, yes it is based off of a moto rom (2.3.340)
99% of all apps were compiled by me from source (a few needed to be there from moto... like three or so provider.service apps)... This is a first and I was able to accomplish this though modifying the framework in both cvpc's and cyanogenmod's source. All source changes will be available to anyone who requests them after GummyJAR is released.... So yes this work will work its way into other Blur based ROM's
The look and and feel of this rom is AOSP + Gingerbread with a few tweaks If you are a themer and would like to release themes for my rom PM me...
GummyJAR is really as close to AOSP as we are going to get until cvpcs and Matt get things figured out and the bugs cleared up!!!

Gonna try this soon!
Makes me smile seeing a few more ROMs coming out. I'll keep an eye on this one as well.
I really want to try this. Can't wait to get it!
Is this ROM built from the gingerbread sdk?
I can't wait to flash this! Finally I can get rid of Fission and its contributionware shenanigans!
I want those lcokscreen sliders! Can't wait until this is availible.
Testing with Xdustin07x2 right now guys... Its a little hard cause I dont have a D2 in my hands so I have to work with him to get things fixed. So far we are having issues with the camera and the keyboard.. thats about it.. Once I get those resolved we should be good to go.

OK the keyboard is fixed up only one issue now. Rotation to landscape only work when you open the keyboard.. looking into it now
I don't understand. If a DX rom like Apex got ported to D2 with no problem then why don't the dev's ask Fabolous how he did it? :s I'm not a dev or anything, but isn't that one way to try to resolve the issue? Just giving an opinion.

NFX-Hero 2.2.1.update1 Deodex and ODEX
Formerly known as ZenHeroFX
You will now be able to use any kernel you want so enjoy the freedom!!! thanks
Changes:
Name and graphics changes
More Scripts added to GScript (enable and disable A2SD, Wired Tether, and more)
Added jbed java
Now wireless and wired tether supported (wired can be done by script or apk)
some more tweaks
modified Darktremor Apps2SD 2.7.5 RC3c for better porformance.
and includes the prior changes
Dalvik moved to Cache partition
KidFrame by PhilD41
to much to list, download and check it out
If you dont want to run A2SD this will have 130 megs free in Data after full install.
with A2sd running you will have 150 free in Data
Wired tether is now located on sdcard just use es to install from card. this is due to it not liking being built in
ok this was reworked once installed it will run at 710 for now till kernels are reworked again, this has the jit in it already but not enabled. this doesnt use zips anymore this uses scripts right from within the phone.
in the app drawer there is a program called Gscripts click it.
To setup your GScripts complete the following steps:
1. After opening GScript press the menu button and select "Add script"
2. A new window will open.
3. Press the Load file button
4. Select a script from the list (each is obviously named as to its function)
5. Ensure Needs SU? is checked
6. Now select "Save" and you have added your script
7. To run just select it from the list in the main GScript screen
8. You must reboot the phone for the change to take effect.
After running a script, just touch the screen to stop GScript from auto closing.
Very Special thanks to zach.xtr and his work on the Gsripts that made this possible
Highlights:
Dalvik moved to Cache partition ( approx 150 megs of space after rom installation)
And JIT that is actually Stable at this point of testing. This is due to having 130megs of space for dalvik to now run in.
This is still built on 2.1 but should be as good as it gets till we secure a Froyo port.
Odex (no themes, faster)
Deodex (themeable, slower)

NANDROID, NANDROID, NANDROID, I hope that is clear enough.
Remember I am aimed on the smoothest and fastest running system, anything beyond that is optional. I supply the JIT for the people that want to use it at their own risk. I have provided what I consider a great rom STOCK, with OC even better and for the few that JIT loves your phone, well hell it is just fun.
I however am not expecting everyone to be able to use jit this is why I include the ability to disable it also.
I have managed to get jit to run successfully on all roms, but it takes time sometimes it takes perfect others it might take 2 or 3 tries.
Special thanks to the People that where helping through the testing. There input was very valuable.

Stock speed for installs, kernels that work with my stock rom also work with this rom plus a new 691 listed above. Battery life should be very good as it has been tweaked to give best performance with minimal impact.
Looks good!
Does this mean your first ROM will be called HeroFX? It needs a name !

Thank you kind sir - gonna give it a try as I am running CM6 now.
Is there still a slight lockscreen lag with the overclocked kernel. Also is there any keyboard lag in the rom.

lag if any should be so minimal that it shouldnt be an issue for anyone. the lock screen runs extremely smooth.

yes I am working on the icons in the music player, that is not a bug it is a backgraound that is displayed until it loads. I have managed to replace most of them, but not all yet, these will be corrected with a flashable patch that will not wipe the system.

well lockscrcreen settings is a separate app but I reference it from within the XML in the settings.apk.. the exact file was ~res/xml/settings.xml
I must also point out the settings.apk does not decompile within apkmanager without errors.. soooo the only way you are going to be able to edit the xml is
1. hex edit the binary
2. build settings.xml from source (the way I did it)
I learned this by simply using Kiff3 to compare the strait AOSP settings package with cvpcs's...
Kdiff3 is a powerful tool if you know how to use it (highly recommended)
Is the tab lockscreen (non rotary) still gingerbread themed?

Got liberty downloaded, customized and up and running this morning! So far it is amazing. Only way to describe it is GummyJar on crack!!! Admittedly my phone has only been running it <2 hours and I usually try and reserve judgement until I've used a rom a few days, but this one is just amazing!
Edit: Also I know the first post said something about the GBKB size on the d2 but it feels perfect to me. Much better than stock or swype imo (although I personally never was a big swype person).
The liberty toolbox, boot logo/animation and libery settings are a BIG, BIG plus dudes! Enjoying this ROM sooo much!

Amazing ROM guys... I've used Fission and ApeX, stayed on GummyJAR for quite some time and now have switched to liberty and I've gotta say, with the toolbox, etc, this is by far the best ROM I've used... thank you guys for the hard work!
Wow
Comming from a Touch Pro 2 with many roms the D2 didnt offer as much for me initially and i was scared to do it.
BUT after trying gummyjar I was HOOKED now this IS the perfect evolution of it I have this like 2 min and I am super Impressed this is really what an Android phone should operate like!
KUDOS
Yes yes yes! Just what I've been waiting for. Downloading and installing now!
Everything is looking amazing. The toolbox is awesome. One problem though, it looks like whatever server is hosting the content of the toolbox (like themes) is really really slow. I left a theme download running for like five minutes and 500kb of it had been downloaded. Not a huge problem, but I'd suggest maybe finding another host. The only mirror that downloaded the actual ROM for me at a decent pace was the droid2files link.
New to D2 ROMs...I installed GummyJar and then jumped right to this. Installed over the top without wiping and everything seems to be running great. Exploring now.
I am a QA guy by trade. Is there anywhere special where you post issues, or do I just post in this thread?
I have been playing with this theme for three years now, but only recently has it became what I consider a nearly finished product
thanx to Gunnermike53 for helping me to get my computer set up right to make the edits I wanted. I can't tell you how many hours and
sleepless nights I have spent working on this so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I have tested this countless times along with people on the irc so you shouldn't run into any problems but if you do it's not my fault
There are plenty of people on the forums and irc to help get back up and going so flash at your own risk.
For anyone wondering about the build number I will be using the date and military time, this way you know you are on the most current.
This theme will stay on Rootzwiki and now XDA, feel free to link to but Do Not Repost!

The theme itself will not wipe your data and you should have no problems as long as you are on ep4d. If you want to be safe you can always do this, after flashing the rom go to 'mounts and storage' make sure everything is unmounted then pull the battery out. Put battery back in (it will boot to recovery) select restart and you should be gtg. I seen this as a fix on rootzwiki in the infinity post but it's down right now so I can't link to it. The wiping issue is due to the kernal, not themes.

As it says in the OP, this is for ep4d deodexed, not infinity, allthough I do have infinity on my phone with this theme ported to it but there has not been much interest so I wasn't in a big hurry to get it out there.
As I said in this post, it is never good to cross theme roms.

Update 10-25 Aroma Kang Jelly AOSPJB Personalizer
Personalize any JB based CM, AOKP, paranoid, slim, or other non-stock ROMs
on Skyrocket or Hercules
Version 1.57
AOKP JB, CM10, ETC. personalizer
Version .797
Everything else
Now you can change your ugly CM10 weather icons to the pretty AOKP weather icons!
Check the changelog down below.
This will not work in cwm 6xxx. (Touch or not)
It will work in sk8rwitskil's 6xxx.
This should work on any device. The boot animations are constrained to 800x480 devices, and the inverted stuff is constrained to jellybean. Please Lemme know if you link in another devices forum though!
Quick Description! Flash this from recovery at any time to personalize your AOSP ROM (Like cm10 or AOKP based ROMs) You don't have to wipe any caches. You can change the system font, the boot animation, and a few more features. You can also flash this immediately after a new ROM and conveniently flash gapps, the agps patch by crypted, add root browser, tibu, and rom manager.. or fix permissions right away with a script from realpariah and minotauri. You flash this as many times as you want. Anytime you want to change something, just go to recovery and flash again.
PERSONALIZE YOUR ROM IN A FLASH! (That's almost as clever as "Kang of all Kangs")
I want to express an extra huggy thanks to Team Passion for not objecting (openly, anyway) to my blatant exploiting of their Chimera installer as a template for this.
Also Thanks to:
Team BAKED

sk8rwitskil
obtained
crypted
therealpariah
minotauri
mindmajick
Team Inferno
djdarkknight96
rujelus22

Instructions: flash the zip from recovery and it will open. Choose your menu items, pick your theme. Straightforward from there, really. Just pick what you want to install. You can leave anything you don't want unchecked, if you check something by accident, there is a "do nothing" choice in every selection group.
Note!! Aroma will likely freeze in official CWM 6.xxx recovery. It will work in sk8rwitskil's 6.xxx recovery, and some features may not work in TWRP.
Download 1.57 from Goo!
1.57 changelog-
removed my attempt at inverted gapps with the messed up google now and replaced them with travp624's 10/16 inverted gapps
1.47 changelog-
Added option to change lock screen and notification drawer weather icons to either AOKP or CM10 (credit to armyvet66629 for having this great idea)
updated to 10-11 regular gapps
inverted gapps I pieced together myself, might be WIP still (lemme know of any issues please)
updated inverted contacts and mms
1.27 changelog-
Added inverted Facebook, Twitter, and Translate by rujelus22
Changed Inverted Music to rujelus22's version
Since colorfix version started freezing again, I didn't bother with it this time
1.16 changelog-
Removed unnecessary zero from version number
updated to latest aroma base (no more calibration)
1.006 changelog-
Added real cm10 boot animation in place of those other ones
Changed to aroma 2.51 binary. Should be more compatible with other devices now
Brought back colorfix. Seems to be working for me so far. Still, just in case, versions that end with the number 6 include the colorfix, versions that end with 7 do not.
Download .947 from dev host
.947 changelog:
Updated inverted and transparent apps-
-Mms, google voice, by djdarkknight96 (check out his theme page)
-contacts, email, calendar by x planet
-music, youtube, google plus, gmail, and other inverted gapps by team BAKED (9/14 bundle)
-transparent contacts and mms by M4750D0N
-updated aokp boot animation (removed the old one)
-changed name to reflect that this is intended for use on JB aosp roms
Download .797: http://d-h.st/9Pv
.797 change log (posted out of sequence, this was more or less one of my test builds till now)
Added team passion's morph script to invert systemui and framework Res.
This one is still for cm9 based stuff. Decided to post it since I posted .807 but there is still a demand for cm9 mods. Note: the team passion inversion script does NOT break anything in cm9 (that I'm aware of anyway)
Previous change logs are in the installer.

I will redo the aroma configuration tonight so it actually reflects the correct information and also *try* to add the cm9 boot animation and maybe a nightly 6/24 version.
And aokp 40 too.
To be honest if someone here more capable than I can do it better (and is familiar with that config) I wanted to get the idea some attention. This file was just to see if it worked.

I haven't added anything yet. Right now it is in the same state that PTSD and Jaydub had it for chimera, except it installs cm9 instead. Once I figure out what I'm doing I'll start adding stuff. I have an idea how to add more fonts, boot animations, sounds, and apps. Funny thing is, the easiest thing to change on it is which ROM it installs/modifies.
So in specific response to your question, what do you mean by "default storage"? For the browser? That's within the ROM. This isn't going to change very much function. If a nightly comes out that has it then it can be taped onto this.

I emailed a bunch of developers months ago to add the aroma installer to their roms but never got any responses maybe this will be the push
Aroma is nice the issue being it makes packages huge making it tough to host on normal sites given upload caps so its OK for aosp but could never be done for tw based roms

If a nightly comes out that has it then it can be taped onto this.

it is a feature in all of the cm9 builds but none of the aokp or chamira builds. when you go to settings->storage and hit the menu button it says configure storage and you can select the internal as default. if it really is that easy you should have it modify the latest nightly
this is what i wanted to see The Revolution has started
where'd you get that supergirl wallpaper?

Okay so it's taken me a few hours just to get my bearings.
But I got my bearings. I have to go to sleep now though so here's what's up. I'm going through the scripts and adding what skyrocket options I can. Available modems first, and a few more boot animations. It will be a big install file but it will work with AOKP and cm9. And whenever either of those get updated, like I said earlier they'll be the easiest things to change. All I've changed so far is the ROM name and stuff, no different options yet.
What is all that code stuff called anyway, xml?
Whoooah. What are some good xml words? Look I'm doing xml!!
Also I can't get the red pixels working, the fix suggested by the guy that wrote the thing doesn't work.
