Attached Wallpaper from My MikFroyo ROM

Thought i would give this a try since you are using my 2 favorite themes...- Did full wipe, cant skip setup, when i try to it FC and starts over. When i try to enter my gmail info, i cant. the keyboard will not show. No keyboard for me on any text entry during setup and cant skip setup. To many bugs right off the bat for me.

so i wiped and then applied rom, it installed fine, as soon as i got to the htcsetup it crashes, i took that out of the rom and then reapplied rom, now htcsense crashes :/ i like ur rom but its crashing on me..

Tried mirror same problem. No keyboard during setup, crashes if you try to skip.

I like your rom but i cant make or receive any calls on it..Great rom!! insert sarcasm here....

Got the problems fixed uploading now. Sorry for those who had issues. Also if you have issues flashing unsigned files this might not be the ROM for you. Using RipTides Rosie might switch back might not.

let me know when you get this fixed and i'll try it again. Right now imma try theme porter and see if i can snag your bad ass looking theme

using riptides rosie does that change the lock screen bar? or is that separate? Manups lockscreen is my favorite

I'll keep an eye on the thread, if you put manups rosie back then i'll give it another try.

No the lock screen and rosie are separate.

i can barely get the setup screen cause i took it out of the zip file, but the sense launcher crashes like i said, i like the theme

Everything should be working now, sorry about that.. pictures in post #1 are a little different like I don't have the icons at the moment, and the Rosie is from Riptide9 theme not ManUps. I'm debating which Rosie to use. One of the Apps is messing up the system so no App icons till I figure out which one it is. The keyboard was an easy fix.

Yeah so far everything seems ok. Cooking dinner so i haven't messed around with it to much. I cant wait for the program icons and hopefully the manup rosie to be put back. I'll check it out thoroughly after dinner and report back. Looks pretty good so far, thanks.

OK ManUp Rosie is UP..

[PORT][THEME][MOD] EA11/EB16 Midnight - Blue Steel Edition

The original port for midnight was updated (thanks to Bigloof & edint3000 for the awesome work!!!) and since phidelt has been working diligently on other things I thought I'd try to get some of it ported over to EA11. I tweaked some things, check out the menu outlines and custom emotes.
Enjoy =)
Prerequisites:Need to be on 2.2 and a deodexed ROM installed (I.E. Pick and Pack) If you already have a theme on it, you'll be just fine too, keep in mind this will only change what I have listed below, so remnants of your previous theme may remain.
EDIT: ADDED EB16 PORT [PREREQUISITE: PNP EB16]
NOTE: FOR EA11 VERSION As stated by phidelt82 at this point the only function the extra 3 power options perform is reboot, it is being worked on. Also, once you have this installed you will need to go back to pick and pack in order to flash a different theme, currently this is the only one that works with this MOD, I will be working to update others until we get the full MOD
I do have a custom font installed, (bender) eli posted a link to them in the theme's forum. Best to start from Pnp With phidelt82's Midnight Port, to have all of the other blue theme.

The original themer's were kind enough to change it, I was just kind enough to port it to the mes so we could use it (just want to make sure everyone is clear on that)

Just out of curiosity, is there an easy explanation on how to port a theme from fascinate to mesmerize? Or is it a difficult process?

It's not difficult once you have an understanding of how to use apktool/apkmanager, theme porter and a basic understanding of how to copy and paste xml edits. Unfortunately this isn't really put together, especially specifically for the mes but there are a lot of good guides out there on how to theme. I'd start by going here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932856. It's written for the fascinate and i'ts more of a guide to making a theme but you use the same concepts when porting so it's a good place to start.

Any chance you can throw up a link with those still in the theme? I know I'm picky You are doing an awesome job pumping these out, keep up the good work!

I have never flashed a theme before so could somebody give me a little extra guidance? I am just on the plain Froyo + root rom, I have done no other mods or anything else. So I understand putting the file on the SD card but what is the Dalvik Cache and how do I install the zip? Also this won't set my phone back to default or anything will it? As in all my applications will be safe or do I have to back them all up again?

Well first off, I'll revert you to my newbie guide - don't take offense i've just taken alot of time answering the questions you've just asked.
Basically what you need to do next is get yourself the CWM recovery that works with 2.2, basically this is going to be how you will flash any rom/theme/kernel you would like at any point. There is a link there in the guide.
From there you need to get yourself on the pick and pack rom. What this means is you will have your system/app applications replaced with ones that can be themed, he has also slimmed the package but provided an addon zip where you can add on the extra stock applications you may want to keep. This by no means is a reset, and if you use titanium backup you can always restore apps that way so that your data carries over.
After that, you would be good to apply any theme you would like, and to answer your question you would go about this by using the new recovery you just installed (you get into this recovery by using the three button method, or using the application quickboot which is much easier, this is all detailed in the guide but I thought I would give you a synopsis).

Just wanted to say thanks! I am now running the red clockword mod, voodoo kernel, and pick and pack rom as well as this theme! Works great!

[THEME] PuRe

Most know this theme either from the Alpha release that we put out last month or from following on twitter about its progress. We have decided to finally release our initial build to the public and just improve and add from there. I guess we decided it was time to actually release something rather then just showing screens and putting out a build that was no where near complete. So here we are and this is the initial release of PuRe. I hope everyone enjoys it and offers feedback. We already have some new apps we are working on themeing and some improvements we plan on making to the theme overall.
The premise behind this theme is to create a white simplistic theme with slight color hints throughout. I can’t leave out that perhaps some things might have a slight edge to them. Also, we are trying to completely create a custom framework experience, along with doing the same to each apk

so i did this theme , i did as instructed , not my first theme and im a huge fan of liberty used diff roms so im not used to this soooooo, i made back up installed , and now heres what happened .
no service
settings icon, or option for settings dont work
superusser icon gone dialer dont work
cant boot into recovery, via bootstrap, rom manager, nor liberty
i try to do man rebot ho;d home while power on and all i get is a black screen with bootloader error ...
any ideas im sunk here.

I had a similar problem. I tried a bunch of things including reflashing v1.5 then back to v2.0.1 and such, but no joy. I ended up restoring to my latest previous CWM backup then going reflashing v2.0.1 from scratch. I ran that for about a day then flashed Pure again, and after about a week it seems to be running solid. I know it sucks cuz you sacrifice whatever data you gained since your last nandroid backup but I didn't see a lot of options. Good luck.

People please! please backup your phones! After you've spent all that time personalizing them, back it up (for best results : clockwork recovery: backup/restore: backup: reboot.
Now next;create a file on your computer to save APK's to. Then save an email to yourself with at least these 3 apk's attached: z4root, D2Bootstrap, and Titanium Backup (Pro)! All of these can now be re-downloaded if you loose everything and have to factory reset or SBF to stock. Just sign in to your Google accounts and goto that folder with the email attachments. Great to have in case you wipe or SD card fails too.
I would include links to upload these APK's from, but xda does not allow such ease of access/attachment. Sorry not my site.

oh yeah, i forgot the lte icons ...thats what comes of using a 3g device...ill fix that in the next...can u ss dialer/settings/menus etc? oh and the pulldown/power controls?

seems like everything is ok....so far...

I'm not sure if it is included but, did you by chance include a dark google search widget?

pulldown works and looks ok. still alittle bit of the ugly tan color. bit its a huge improvement.

that screenshots color is all messed up. the color on the Voicemail is tan not blue?

alright i can see i have to resize a little better on the power control background...try and use shootme or drocap2 for screenshots if ddms.bat is whats making bad ones...or vice versa

ill give one of those a try. do you know if I can use the recovery from rom manager? I have it installed but im reluctant to try it...I've been using the custom cwm.

i wouldnt...check if its compatible first...it isnt on the fascinate

Koush recently added support but honestly....
Reboot recovery from terminal is the best option.
Still waiting on fedex for my charge

some people were having issues restoring backups with the custom recovery. is that still an issue I can't find an answer.

I asked the question in general and in a few threads but i cant get an answer so for now Im not going to try it either. lol

I have the updated rom manager with support for the charge. booted into recovery and got the android symbol. battery pull and im back up and running. got to be a way to uninstall custom and flash cwm from rom manager. just can't figure it out yet.

This is my third theme for the GS3. This was tested and based on CleanROM 2.5. If you try it on any other ROM based on the G7 modems, let me know. If you do try it and it borks your phone, though, I'm not responsible. And in general, I'm not responsible for anything that you do to your device. The app icons that you see are from a paid Apex theme in the PlayStore. Just search for Black Go Apex Theme Pro. I'll be making some of my own eventually.
Please do not use any of my work included in this theme without permission first. This stuff takes time, and I would be happy to help you if you just ask first.

Installation Instructions
-Download (if on mobile, make sure you choose "Request Desktop Site")
-Place on ext SD
-Reboot to recovery
-Perform nandroid (not required, but a good idea)
-Wipe cache and dalvik cache

For some reason the battery is missing completely unless it's plugged in. I'll mess with it later to see why.

Your Blue Steel theme was my absolutely favorite on the Rezound. In fact, I turned on my Rezound today (to wipe so I can sell it), and remembered just how much I loved your Blue Steel theme. Soooo glad it's on the GS3 now!
It looks fantastic in the pictures, but there's something that brings it alive once you see it on the phone. Gorgeous!

Me too...Plus my notification bar keeps hiding and then popping out again. I tried fixing permissions but it's still going on. Bummer bc this is a beautiful theme.

I'm working on it. There's multiple issues with the theme overall that's ticking me off. I'll figure it out. I might see if I can make it an aroma installed theme to get it to work correctly.

I sent you a PM on fixing the battery icon issue, let me know if you didnt get it, it acted funny when I sent the pm so not sure if it went through.

Updated theme is up in post 2. Includes the battery again. THANK YOU, rcw95 for helping me fix that crap. Stupid/tired error/computer hates me.
Also, there is an odex version and a deodex version. Try the odex version first. If that doesn't work, then try the deodex version. Make sure you have a back up before you do either so you have something to fall back on. If they don't work, I'll fix it eventually when I can figure out why it's not working correctly.

just back everything up before you flash it...only takes a couple minutes to restore a backup...

Sorry to be a bummer but installed both but both didn't work, meaning status bar completely missing. This was done on separate trials.

Ok, new release is up. This one was completely rebuilt by thisiskindacrap in order to fix the crashing issues. This should be good now. If it's not, I'll keep trying. Make sure you have a backup before you flash. If you ever wanted to donate to me for any of my themes, make sure you donate to thisiskindacrap or rcw95 first. Those guys have helped me a bunch. Please let me know if this new release fixes the issues that some were having.

Just a report. And am really sorry but not working. Maybe I'm out of luck. But thanks for your hard work bro.
