[Q] kickstand case - Nexus One Accessories

Just curious if anyone has seen a case for the N1 that has a built in kickstand like for the G2 that T-mobile sells (clear plastic, snap-on case)
The only one I have seen is the Body Glove case with the kickstand built into the belt clip, making the case obnoxiously bulky, especially when I won't use the belt clip. Just wanted something exactly like the G2's actually, a snap on case that has a kickstand and doesn't add bulk to the N1's amazingly thin and light body.
P.S. N1 is the best android phone ever made

Kickstand?

Are there any kickstand cases available like T-Mo sold for the MT4g?
Bump.......
The T-Mobile Body Glove case has a kickstand as part of the Belt clip. Not a svelte design but its functional.
I do believe both body glove Hard case and the belt clip case have kick stands. only ones I have so far.
Do a search on ebay for em. A lot of new stuff there from last week.

[Q] Case that works with a belt holster or a belt clip?

Hi,
Searched the forums, but couldn't find a thread that talks what I need.
Currently I have my eyes set on a Trident Case from Amazon.
I'm looking for a case the offers good protection that can be used with a belt holster or a belt clip.
I've looked at holsters like these. But the issue is they are not wide enough to insert a phone that already has a cover like Trident. IF I can find a holster big enough so I can put the phone with the Trident cover in to it that would be great.
Or else maybe a belt clip that works with the Trident cover?
I'm not dead set on the Trident cover, so if you have better suggestions please let me know.
Thanks
I have the Seidio Surface case and holster. I also have 3 Nillkin cases that fit within the Seidio holster very well, but they don't offer as much protection as the Seidio case does. I definitely recommend the Seidio Surface line...it's a very well made case and holster (full body protection, felt lined case, and the holster is felt lined as well).
Of course, nothing offers the same protection as the Trident Aegis...that's like wrapping a quilt around your phone. I don't know of any holsters that fit the Aegis.
wish seidio made an active case for us...

Skyrocket Case/Holster Review

About a week ago, I ordered a Case/Holster combo from Amazon. I already had a normal case, but I am a real holster kind of guy. I received it tonight (was apparently in my PO Box since Saturday ) and quickly tore my new toy open. Here are my impressions-
SkyTouch Hard Cover Combo Case Holster for AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket i727 (search this on Amazon to find it)
Cost- $12.98 ($8.99 + $3.99 s&h)
I love this case! Unlike the Otterbox's I had with my iPhones, there is almost no way this phone will fall out of this holster. It is blocked on both sides and the bottom. Comes out from top only. It slides in and out easily, but snug enough that you cant shake it loose. Of course, it sits face-in and the holster has a soft velvet type padding where the screen sits. The holster also serves as a kickstand.
Here is the only complaint/curiosity I have with it- The phone can only sit in the holster with the screen facing in, so the kickstand is pretty much useless. IT does not upset me really. Actually, it made me laugh a little at the oversight/absurdity. Still, this combo is a wonderful setup. I have included some pics for your viewing. I hope this helps someone who might be researching before purchasing a new case.
I ordered the SkyTouch case based on this review and like it. It provides a secure holster without the bulk of an Otterbox Defender.
For those looking for info on cases there is a thread here that discusses various cases.
Edit: The belt clip on the holster part of the case can not be removed but it does swivel allowing the holster to be used vertically or horizontally.
After using this for a couple of weeks I really like it. It is secure when in the holster. The ridged back makes a good grip surface. The snap on case for the phone provides protection but is minimalist in appearance. I feel it makes the phone look better rather than cover it up like a Commuter case does.

Any thicker/larger holster experiences out there

Anyone using a thicker case (I like the AMZER Jelly has bumpers so its a little thicker) with a holster? I have a generic, and Seidio older SIII holster that work with many TPU cases (they are thinner) but the AMZER will not quite fit. Any ideas for a "slightly" larger? holster that would fit without spending $30 or more for it?
Also any mods for all the TPU cases that kind of mute the volume when laying flat? I stuck a few drops of glue around the speaker hole and let them dry to sort of raise the case slightly so the sound can come out. When they lay flat it mutes it pretty good, cant believe all the case makers do not think of allowing the sound to port out some way.
Any bigger accommodating holsters?

Anybody?
I just bought a generic TPU, and also the SGP Neo Hybrid. The Neo also even though thin does not fit in my holster. The TPU does. is there a slightly larger holster out there (with the rotating spring loaded clip) that works for slightly wider/thicker cases?

Diztronic TPU Case with Kickstand

So ever since I owned my Evo 4G, I have found a kickstand an invaluable part of my daily phone use. Most phones don't come with them so I am always looking for a good kickstand case. Sadly, most of kickstand cases are not to my liking as they are either too thick, cover the sides but not the top and bottom of the phone, etc. The Seidio Surface w/kickstand for the S4 comes close but I don't like the cutouts for the buttons. It just feels awkward trying to push the buttons as I wish Seidio had covered them with TPU or silicone. My favorite non-kickstand cases are definitely the Diztronic TPU cases as they are very slim, fit perfectly, use high quality TPU, very reasonably priced, and provide good protection from everyday wear and tear. If only there was some way to add a kickstand to the Diztronic, this would be my perfect case.
So I then came across the following video where the guy added a Seidio kickstand to an Otterbox commuter and I figured I could do the same to my Diztronic case.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCb1jNmdS4s
So here is what I did:
1. Found the cheapest Seidio Surface with kickstand I could. Turns out it was a purple version made for the One X+. $8 with free Prime shipping on Amazon. Perfect.
2. I extracted the kickstand by simply pulling back the felt and popping the kickstand out.
3. Used the bottom half of the Seidio case (which now has an empty/vacant slot where the kickstand use to be) and positioned it inside the Diztronic TPU case.
4. Using a sharpie, I utilized the empty kickstand mold to trace the outline of the kickstand onto the inside of the Diztronic.
5. Used an exacto knife to cut out the outline I just traced onto the inside of the Diztronic. This left a hole/gap just the right size for the kickstand.
6. I slipped the kickstand in and secured it with black electrical tape.
7. Put my modified Diztronic case onto my S4 and done!
The kickstand is very secure and props the phone up perfectly in landscape mode. Its slim, covers all sides of the phone, has a nice lip, and buttons are easy to push. Glad to finally have my perfect kickstand case!
Wow.
Great work. I'm with you in that I love the Diztronic cases, but I would for sure mess this up haha.
