Interior pictures of GTablet via FCC - G Tablet General

Here's a PDF I ran across that shows interior pictures of the device. I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but here we go:
Edit: since I've got a newbie account, it won't let me link outside sources. So copy and paste this (after fixing the link) into your webbrowser. I'd have uploaded as a PDF but the size (800k) was more than your max size allowed for that filetype.

And BTW:
Thanks for all the hard work you guys do. I'm running TnT Lite 2.04 with the new Tegra driver; it absolutely screams. I'm able to use it for OpenGL development and it's just amazing how fast this device is.

Yes, there is a very large thread that shows the interior and propositions on how to use the voids inside the case.

S/W Newbie. If you have a moment

Hello
In the begining there was the XDA, and then the XDAII, and now, in the post to me as we speak (I hope) is the XDAIIs.
Ive spent the past hour surfing around this site, and been quite amazed at some of the things you guys and gals can make these devices do. A recent change in company has moved me from my beloved hardware engineering onto software, nothing spectacular at the moment, editing .ini, .bat, .exe and a few other types of files. It has however got me interested in playing with my phone, but the problem is I don't know where to start, I see programs called mkrom which need to run on a unix like system (which I don't have) and RomKitchen ?
Are there any recomendations on a place to start ? whether its online tutorial or a good book you have bought from somewhere, and I mean books that start from the very bottom of the pile. Again, I know bits and pieces but nothing substantial in this area.
At the moment its more the applications for the today screen I`m interested in.
Any info will be much appreciated
All the best
Nikki
Welcome aboard Nikki. You can start here:

and move on from there. The forum has tons of info on what apps run best on our beloved XDA. Cheers.
mate, regarding "At the moment its more the applications for the today screen I`m interested in. Any info will be much appreciated"
there are loads of apps you can put on the today screen such as:
1) animated today - animation on your today screen
2) today launch apps - allows you to put icons / shortcuts to your favorite applications
3) weather
4) phone profiles
5) system information showing you amount of memory used, battery remaining, program terminator or switcher
6) nothing on your today screen...just the background pic/theme
7) world time which displays around 6 times zones
8) quotes
9) games on the today screen (e.g. baseball...but if you ask me i'd go for footy)
10) note screen for scribbling
11) let's see....oh you can also put a different kind of clock or date format
12) calendar or task summary
13) and a whole bunch of others...
no need to buy anything really; just hop on over to the 02 and xda websites...not to mention this forum as your means of gaining tons of info.
you can try these links:

hope that helps. cheers then
the faq does not satisfy my needs!!!
dear bravo2zero the faq available does not explain everything
it only covers 2 old pdas what about the blue angel & what are the diffrence in the
Rom version
radio version
Protocol version
ExtRom version
Where can we find the tools to edit it ?? & what each tool can do ??
if i'm reading a post i have to open 6 or 7 windows at a time & follow links to many diffrent sites...
Where can we find all in 1 tidy place ??!!!
Thanks
Thats the beauty of it. There is no one single place since this forum evolves out of everyone's contribution. This isn't like a commercial website that offers downloads in a nice structured way. Like everyone else, you just have to read through a lot of posts to get to where you want to be.

photo resizing with pocket PC

I'm using an Orbit2(Touch Cruise), but my question relates to any pocketPC powered device.
Does anyone know of some pocketPC software that allows precise control over photo resizing ? Preferably free (failing that nag-ware). Ideally it would also allowing cropping, control over compression settings, contrast, and USM (but I know that I'm dreaming on this last point!)
I've been searching for several days, but most of the links relate to desktop software which resize down to PDA dimensions. This is not what I want - I already have plenty of software for PC's which does this.
What I want to be able to do is take a photo on the phone (3.2 MP), and then resize by an arbitrary factor
I realise that the built in picture editor allows "resizing" down to 640 by 480, but this is too small, and only applies when you're emailing and does not affect the original. It also over compresses.
The reason for my question is that the orbit 2 camera is pretty noisy, but when scaled down to about 50% using Gimp or Photoshop on the PC actually gives quite a nice image suitable for beaming / emailing.
Thanks,
Roy.
Here are the ones I tried and rejected today:
photoresize (free)
---------------
failed - converted 21 imgaes out of 31 then fell over with a memory error.
for those it did convert, all of the portrait ones were squished (lost the aspect ratio) irrespective of whether "keep aspect ratio" was checked or not.
promising (good selection of sizes, and selectable compression), but poor implementation
but could use in a pinch by creating a directory with just one or two images, and forcing their rotation to be "correct" prior to conversion
PocketPicture (free)
-------------------
seems to be a ms-paint clone.
fell over when I tried to open a large (3.1mp) image
SpbImageer ($15)
----------------
I didn't like the install process -
it wanted to act as an activesync filter, so abandoned install.
Try XnView Pocket. Unlike the name would let you believe, it is more than a viewer; it edits and resizes pictures and is free. http://www.xnviewpocket.org/

Thanks, took me a while to find it, but your review at
http://www.winmobiletech.com/PICVIEWERS/
was exactly the sort of thing I was looking for.
I note you rate xnview highly (version 1.3 in 2005)
it's now at version 1.4, and doesn't seem to have the 8MP image size restriction any more - not that I've tested that.

What forum should I use to ask about VS

Hi I really respect the opinions of the people I have found on this forum and as I am getting to grips with visual studio for the first time I often have some questions. I know this isnt a programming forum so I was wondering if anyone knew a good place where I can ask my questions.
(if someone does want to help with my current problem how can I set the full screen resolution to 480x800 for my app, When I use the form property size to do this it works but when I run the app on my device it is zoomed into the origional small resolution area 200x300 or what ever it is)
smart device development msdn forum
Tried setting the anchor to left/right/top/bottom or dock to fill?
Interesting one this, can't say I've really got to the bottom of it yet either. The client area on an application run on an 480 by 800 device is reported as 240x348 in portrait or 400x188 landscape. These values are those returned by C++ in GetWindowRect(), (don't forget to get the size of the Menu/Control Bar at the bottom and subtract it from the above given rectangle), or use the C# form properties this.ClientRectangle.Size.Height and this.ClientRectangle.Size.Width
It appears it is being set by Windows CE/Mobile before the application even gets a look in. This the results from the 6.1.4 emulator image. If I find out any more I'll post it back here.

Need help, getting 3d pdf to display with mobile phone.

I have an HTC touch Pro, this bad boy (thanks to xda) can do everything. Even my taxes. I am working in college with CNC programming and 3d parametric modeling, i am sending drawings around all the time but I need to be at a work station to view the models. I use the 3dpdf option to display models in presentations, and thought that it would be efficient to use this on my phone(to show professors, other students, and potential employers) but adobe reader le 2.5 just posts "enable 3d view mode." to witch i can not find an option to do, I know this software is lite and has limited scope but it would be cool if i could get some direction or even an answer to how i could get this working. I know this phone has the power to run a 3d model, i just cant seem to get it to display 3d files in any form what so ever.
could you post a 3d file so i could take a look into getting it workig?
http://www.sendspace.com/file/akvqpb <-- this is a quick model that i did for a friend, just to show what solidworks can do. If you open it in adobe you should be able to twirl the model around. I can add dimensions and views later if you desire but i think this should get you going. thanks in advance for any time you put into this.
On a side note the site i used to host this file uses a lot of advertisements, the link is at the bottom of the page for down load, if you have another site that you would like me to up load it to shot me a link and ill get it done asap.

PokerMaster app not working on Memu

PokerMaster
by: Illuminate Inc.
Sorry I couldn't post download link because I'm new to forum.
I couldn't download this app because it says it's incompatible with my device. So I went ahead and converted the APK from my phone, and installed it into Memu that way. After I got it installed it runs for 1 second and immediately crashes. Greatly appreciated if someone can help me fix this.
Note:
HP 8470p
Windows 10
SSD Hard Drive
VTx Enabled.

This post is old, maybe you found a solution already.
You have to use the special lollipop version to be able to install pokermaster with memu.
I can tell you more and also show you my specials scripts for tables placement, automatization, put color on players and many stuff for poker masters.
Just add me on skype : lilscrappyjt
I can’t personally think of any reason it would not be safe.
Emulation, if anything else, makes it EXTRA safe, because you’re not really giving NOX/BS/et al your account information; you’re giving it to Android.
by the way, a lot of players got like 10 or 15% withdrawal fees ... Thats so huge.
Come to contact me skype lilscrappyjt ill get you better deals
