How to change keyboard

Hi
I've given my TyTN II (WWE version, qwerty keyboard) to my brother who wanted a French ROM.
So I flashed M2d_fr ROM ... Now the hardware keyboard is azerty...
Is there a way to change the keyboard back to the original qwerty, while keeping the french ROM ?

Damn complicated !
I started to follow those instructions:

That is, creating a CWSLayout key in the registry and a CurLang one.
However, it doesn't seem to work as advertised.
If CWSLayout is exists and is not zero, then the keyboard will be in ASCII ; but it's the TILT layout (different Fn shortcuts than the WWE version)

Change registry
Change registry as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/KEYBD/CurLang to 1033 (decimal DWORD data); then you need to soft reset
your hardware keyboard will now be mapped to universal english qwerty

This is the value I had tried earlier (it's in the link I provided) and it doesn't work.. it stays as AZERTY

no difference.
I reflashed the TyTN II with HTC official French ROM, that registry mod doesn't work on it either

Raphael keyboard

Hi, im quite new to this coustom rooms and stuff, so i wondered, is it possible for me to change the hardwar keyboard to norwegian layout? because when i installed the Raphael Elite Project - RC2 the hardware keyboard changed to english layout=\

yes, you just need to load the IME from your original rom. link me to the original rom (find it on the wiki/search or ask if you can't find it) and i'll make a .cab of the IME package for you.

hi, i have same problem, after elite rc2 installation:
- the hardware keyboard changed to xxxxxx layout.
- i want to install Russian + English.

you can now download a fixed CyanogenMod 701162011-NIGHTLY-NS with Hebrew fixed:

*Note* if you will update your CyanogenMod-7 to the latest version you will Overwrite the fix. so wait for the fix to be implemented at the next roms before Upgrading. (or just extract the files and push them with adb...)
I recently flashed the MoDaCo r3 ROM (GRH78) on my Nexus S.
It is great.
However there is a problem with Hebrew + RTL + BiDi
Sometimes Hebrew is not aligned correctly to the right.
And there is a problem when writing a number in a sentence.
For example if i send an SMS "the number 46" the Recipient gets "the number 64"
At the Gmail 2.3.2 app Hebrew is presented backwards/scrambled at the titles.
Also i can not add Hebrew Lang to the 2.3.1 keyboard as an Additional Lang
There for i have to use a different keyboard to write in Hebrew.
Is there a zip to flash that is fixing all the above on 2.3.1 ?

Hi Did you succeed to fix the problem with Hebrew in Gmail?
The strange thing that in android 2.3 custom rom for HTC hero all these bugs are not exist.

hello just finish to upgrade my wowpad to this amazing ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1067746&page=3
he is really fast than the original but , have critical problems for me as an hebrew man
after selecting hebrew for the interface nothing change , and tried to install and run anysoftkeyboard & smartkeyboard pro & go Keyboard , all the tree wont run .
no matter what the android default keyboard just work and if i'm selecting hebrew there nothing happens , at least the default russian work perfectly , interface+keyboard.
how can i fix the problem and release a good ROM with good hebrew for all the hebrew man's ?

On Screen keyboard for ChaCha Ar+En

i have found this magnificent on screen keyboard in Chinese site
that supports both Arabic and English here is some screenshots

both versions have one problem that when type to the end of the screen it wont auto scroll to the next line it only do the auto scroll when you type with the physical keypad as you can see here

finally arabic keyboard
finally i have fixed the
ParfieldIME Arabic keyboard v4.0.410
that adlx.xda gave it to me thank you man.... you are awesome
i have managed to fix it by
adding lib folder that was in this version
ParfieldIME arabic keyboard v4.0.382 Letters is misplaced in this version
to the version that i got from adlx.xda
now it works
the only letter that dons not work is (ط) it write (?) can any one fix it​
