[Q] HTC Chacha was able Arabic ?

Hi All
I want to know the HTC Chacha was able to write or read Arabic language ? For example you try to open this site and show me what you seen . ( with Android browser or Firefox or UC or...)
And is "input method" enable on Chacha when you want to write a message ? ( for install Arabic keyboard )
And I want to know is possible to map Chacha keyboard to another language ? for example you press "D" bottom and wrote "ی" ?

Why is not any answer ?

With the latest OTA update yes you can read arabic perfectly... I haven't tried writing though...

Can use other input method ? Such as "Anykeyboard"

Yes, sure you can ... yesterday i got one from Nasa (nasa4ppc . com) (Middle East Version) with full arabic Keypad. you can read & write ...
Really it's excellent device .. I love this ChaCha

Just tap into the "text input" for two seconds till yo see " copy , past , input method "
then chose input method. finally, chose the desire language
for Arabic >> chose : Arabic keyboard
for English >> chose : touch input
In Arabic keyboard you can swap easy between Arabic and English language.

Android phones in Canada do not support the Arabic language for some reason. The letters are all disjointed which makes it really hard to read.
I'm waiting for HTC to unlock the boot loader so I can download an Arabic ROM for it!
Edit: I recently found out that Sony Ericsson supports reading and writing in Arabic. It's the only company to do so in Canada......... for now!!!!!

You Have Lots Of Ways
Well,you can use several keyboards.like Persian Soft keyboard and Smart Keyboard Pro.
They both support QWERTY keyboard, But I suggest you PERSIAN SOFT KEYBOARD which supports Arabic & Persian as it's name goes so.

can i get hebrew support for i9003 and i9001 ?

download from this link the patch, it will make your device support RTL (right to left) and choose there (in the patch) to install the Fixed Gingerbreak Keyboard so you will have HEBREW in your keypad =]
i did it on my i9003 and it works great, i think it should also work on the i9001, try it it will tell you if the device is ok for the patch...
if you dont want to change to RTL, you can download AnySoftKeyboard (from the market) and than a hebrew keyboard for it and just choose it in your settings
and if you want to have hebrew menu, i dont think that it is possible in those devices, unless you will port the hebrew from i9000 to this devices.
if you find a way to do so please tell me i also want it LOL

I just downloaded a regular ROM (sky ICS in my case) and then installed a Hebrew keyboard. (slideIT keyboard click here and added a Hebrew pack here)
I send emails, texts and everything in Hebrew
Would that be a good solution for you ? I don't know if you can get a full ROM in Hebrew (menus & all) and I recommend avoiding a full Hebrew phone it will never be totally functional

By the way his post looks he is looking for a full interface hebrew rom, which as far as I know the only one close to it is CM9.
Don't get this device if you want a full hebrew interface.

On Screen keyboard for ChaCha Ar+En

i have found this magnificent on screen keyboard in Chinese site
that supports both Arabic and English here is some screenshots

both versions have one problem that when type to the end of the screen it wont auto scroll to the next line it only do the auto scroll when you type with the physical keypad as you can see here

finally arabic keyboard
finally i have fixed the
ParfieldIME Arabic keyboard v4.0.410
that adlx.xda gave it to me thank you man.... you are awesome
i have managed to fix it by
adding lib folder that was in this version
ParfieldIME arabic keyboard v4.0.382 Letters is misplaced in this version
to the version that i got from adlx.xda
now it works
the only letter that dons not work is (ط) it write (?) can any one fix it​

[Q] Adding multilanguage Keyboard to rom

Hi,
I'm Using Hexgore's rom and really i enjoy it as it's the best rom for ChaCha i have ever tested ... but the only bad thing in it for me that it's only support English (keyboard) ... i need to add Arabic keyboard also beside the English one ..
I made some modification to the Hexgore's rom ... i make it support Arabic Language for reading ex(SMS's...) and (Browser) ...
What I DID:
- I DeOdexed Hexgore's rom.
- Apply Arabic language shaping Patch
- re-Odex the rom again ( It works perfectly for reading Arabic).
- The Missing process is adding Arabic as a second Keyboard.

so i need any help, guide, advice any thing to do it as many users ask about Arabic support for Hexgore's rom and as you know Hexgore stoped to support this rom anymore....
I will Upload this rom after finishing adding Arabic support for both reading and writing ..

thank you Mina, i tested it now and it woks perfectly :good: on Hexgore's rom ....but, i don't want to do this with a 3rd party app, some people told me to modify the HTC_IME.pak file !!!! , i will use this app temporarily till restore the stock's rom arabic langauge keyboard
any other solutions ???
