[REQUEST]System version of ADWLauncher 1.3.X for Eclair - Android Apps and Games

Does anyone have an eclair system version of the newest ADWLauncher(1.3.3)? It seems Anderweb is not posting system versions on his site anymore.
Thanks!!

what do you mean by system version?.. a pre installed ADWLauncher once you flashed a ROM?..
if i understand you correctly, maybe putting ADWLauncher.apk to /system/ dir then flash..

there are 2 versions of ADWLauncher a system and a standalone version.
when the system version is installed you can see the settings menu of the ADWLauncher in the system settings pages. while the standalone version is installed you can access the settings with menu button only.
(if there are any differences i am not aware of them.)

I see, in our latest cyanogen mod nightly build the updated ADWLauncher 1.3.3 is a system version.. will it simply just ripping it?

I am running CM 5.0.8, thats why I need an eclair system version. the version that is on the market is the standalone version, and wont work. the one that is in the latest nightly is for froyo and wont work.

Ditto!! Many of us are still running CM 5.0.8 Eclair, but no one is posting the apk.
Please, anybody!!

+1, I'd like to see a system version also. Would make my old G1 a happy camper.
I'd settle for some decent instructions on compiling it myself if anyone wants to share

[ROM] SupererSonic v2.0 - Updated 6/16 - Apps2SD!

Note: Please look at changelog at bottom of post. I also posted a known bug list for this version at the bottom. Please read this.
Name: SupererSonic
Description:
Well my first Evo rom is done. It’s nothing special but it has some things none of the other roms out right now have. Basically the idea is that this is a completely working rom with no issues that I have seen (please comment if this is not the case) with some added features. One thing to also note is that I also created update zip files for the removed apps so if I removed something that you want you can easily just download the update and flash it.
Installation Instructions:
Download superersonic-signed.zip at the bottom of these instructions and copy it to the root of your sd card
Boot into recovery. Currently this is only possible by using the evo-recovery scripts created by Toast. If you don’t know what I’m talking about check out my rooting post
Perform a nandroid backup of your device
Perform a full wipe of your device (absolutely necessary. Issues will arise if this is not done)
Select flash zip and flash superersonic-signed.zip and reboot when it’s finished.
Changelog:
6-16-09
- Rebased off of new deodexed .6 OTA update
- Changed maps back from Brut 4.2 to default 4.2
- Added symlinks for BusyBox so tools are available without needing to type in busybox first
- Added SpareParts
- Added Rom Manager
- Removed boot sound
- Added init.d scripts
- Lowmemkiller settings changed to aggressive
- Deadline scheduler changed to default
- Zipalign apks on boot
- Added DarkTremor's Apps2SD script
- Modified /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko to enable 802.11n (Need testers because I don't have a wireless n router)
- Updated WiFi Tether to be version 2.0.5 Pre2
- Updated Market app to newest version
6-9-10
- Added Astro File Manager
- Added hosts file to block ads
- Added wireless tether
- Added Busybox
- Added Newest SU and Superuser APK
- Updated Facebook to v1.2
- Updated Google Maps to Brut Modified Google Maps v4.2 (Adds features such as caching map tiles to sd card)
- Replace Qik with new Qik on Market
- Deodexed all apks in rom
- Renamed otacerts, zip to prevent OTA updates
- Removed:
Amazon MP3
Customization Setup and Settings Providers (Saves memory)
HTC Field Test and Field Trial apks
GSD (Not sure what it does but it wastes memory and battery and doesn’t hurt to remove)
HTC Mobile Guide
HTC Setup Wizard (Keeps running even after first setup. Just set up your accounts after the rom is running.)
PDF Viewer
HTC Stocks, Stock widget and all stock related apks
HTC Footprints and widget
HTC NaviPanel
HTC Ringtone Trimmer
HTML Viewer (Not necessary for anything)
QuickOffice
All Sprint apps except Visual Voicemail including Sprint Navigation (Google Maps Nav is better), Sprint TV and widget, Sprint NFL, Sprint Nascar and the Sprint Zone app.
Teeter
Sprint Hotspot App
Bugs:
Apps2SD seems to be working fine however the apps I included (Rom Manager, Wifi tether, etc) don't seem to be showing after a flash. I assume this has something to do with apps2sd but am not sure. I am working on this.
Apps2SD Note:
To use apps2sd you must have an ext partition on your sd card. If you don't already just back up all your data (it will be erased), boot into recovery, go to the partition option and partition your card there. This method is from DarkTremor (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=670087) so it also supports swap if you have a swap partition. After you partition your sd card apps2sd will work automatically.

I like the sound of this, good set of modifications.. downloading now.
Can't wait to get my EVO tomorrow, I've been reading all of the ROM posts, and I think I'll go with this one.
Downloading now, will post shortly with an update - thank ya very much
so far so good.. Will update with any issues...
Re: [ROM] SupererSonic
Damn I wish I could access recovery from work I so want to load this...you got rid of all the apps I don't need..
Well done I will load this soon.

only problems I found so far is.. NO widgets loaded up on first boot.. and when I load the HTC home clock it doesn't get weather.. I tried even loading it manually but no go. next is GPS seems to be on by default, i had to manually disable it..and location services are disabled for "Use Network" Kinda back-words from what stock does
and some apps aren't showing up in the market.. i.e fandango..

The widgets not loading by default was intentional. I always end up deleting everything on the homescreens anyway so I made a clean slate for whatever ya'll want.
The GPS thing is kind of wierd. I'll see about changing that. The clock is also on 24 hour time by default. Forgot to mention that issue.
EDIT: Also for the market, try wiping your dalvik cache. That should fix it.
Looks like everything I wanted to do eventually.
Thanks for this! Downloading now
Is this ROM based off of the stock (1.32.651.1) ROM or the OTA updated (1.32.651.6) ROM?

Good call. If someone does a benchmark of the OTA I will do a bench of this. If not I will try to flash the OTA and then flash back to this. Best benchmark app anyone?

Old news:
Started as a simple mod for Openrecovery 1.37 by Skrilax for cyanogenMod on the milestone, it rapidly become a huge mod for eclair motofrenzy and cyanogenmod.
With the help of 89luca89 we upgraded it to Openrecovery 1.42 and added mods, and utility for every roms of the motorola milestone
This is based now on OpenRecovery 1.42, all credits goes to Skrilax_CZ for the creation of original OpenRecovery!
This has some new feature over the Obsolete GOT OR; let's see what contains:
The Recovery is in http://code.google.com/p/androidiani-openrecovery/downloads/list?saved=1&ts=1285929583
There you can find the download, the wiki, and the issues page (where you can put bugs, amd request for enanchments)
Nice work.... Keep walking...
Next I want to add the pixel density mod to all roms, but it will take some serious scripting

the folder "azhad" is like viruses and doesn't let my my sdcard work on the phone , and i can't delete it on my computer either!the folder size reads 931Mb!
y is that?!
im kinda pissed , cause i have to format the sdcard to make it usable on my phone!and with formatting ill lose app2sd and i have to start everything all over again! is there a way to delete those undeletable! files from my sdcard?!
Update: it's not the recovery's problem, it's a virus in my pc or on my sdcard, but my anti virus , avira , can't detect it and when i scan the folder with these contents , it detects nothing. i put a screen shot of the type of files this virus creats so any one familiar with it , can help me or show me a link so i can report my problem there to get an answer.
here is the screen shot , i can't delete these files...

Azhad, theme doesn`t seem to be working. The wiki says:
HOW TO THEME:
To install a theme, before using the recovery menu, we have to load a theme: Under the Directory /sdcard/OpenRecovery, there is a directory theme; IF you want to install a eclair theme; go to the "Eclair" folder and put the files in their respective directories, IF you want a Froyo theme, go to Froyo and put files in their respective directories.
I did that but going to recovery, you find theme under settings and all it says there is:
"MODRecovery by 89Luca89"
Under the Froyo modding menu I don`t find theme
Only under the Eclair modding menu do I find an option to install theme

Eclair modding menu
Froyo modding menu
etc,etc
Now, if you go to Froyo modding menu, you get:
MotoFrenzy
CyanogenMod 6
Apps2sd
And in CyanogenMod 6 you get:
Install Mod - Overclock
Install Mod - Conservative Govenor
Install Mod - Memhack

---------250/500/750/1100
My phone hangs on the Motorola M logo or I only see the Cyanogenmod bootanimation logo for like 5 minutes..
What can be wrong?
If I apply anything, eg, memhack, my MS will stuck with M logo forever, restore the mot_boot_mode fix it. firmware is offical South-East asia SHOLS_U2_02.36.0, SHOLS_U2_02.36.0_UCASHLSMR2EMEAB1B806D.0R_PDS003_USASHLS00RTINT_P016_A015_HWp2a_1FF
anyone using a offical firmware without problem?

=< 2.11 Vending.apk

Hi!
As the title says, can someone give me the market with a version lower than 2.12?
Cuz google disabled fast web installer in v2.12+
Thanks
In my old titanium backup it shows 2.09, so 2.1 comes with 2.12 "updated" to 2.09... that's strange ò.ô
So I think the apk what I need should be in /data/app
Please I need it and I don't want to reflash and do every optimalisation again
Thanks
Hey, it's not that hard to take a look at data/app/ !
Please I need the default 2.09 market (not from system/app/)
No point going back, it won't work. As soon as you enter the market it automatically updates itself to the latest version.

It's been updated for those on Android 2.1 still.
If you're on 2.2.6 already and it's working fine, I suggest don't try installing this. Gave me some errors and took me a short while to figure out how to get my 2.2.6 working without the FC's going on again.
For those experiencing FC's and such:
1) Uninstall all market versions from your phone.
2) Reboot (not hot boot or shell reboot)
3) Install Market version 1.82 (APK HERE: http://www.mediafire.com/?51htm8lag77552b)
4) Reboot into recovery and flash Market 2.2.6 (update zip file here: http://www.mediafire.com/?p5sa881tg6dv5ya)
Everything should be ok from that point onwards again.
It seems to me that there are some core libs that the 2.2.6 version requires, which apparently come form the 1.82 versions.
Enjoy. =)
This version requires a library called com.android.datamessaging, which is probably specific to the rom this was pushed to. 2.2.6 does not carry this requirement.
is there a 2.2.7 version for non rooted phones?
im not rooted.have 2.2.6 but i want 2.2.7 but this com.vending...apk wont install
I am running MicroMod's v3.6 Froyo FRG83, which uses Enom 2.12.x as base. Today after I cleared the market cache and data, market app was updated automatically from 2.12 to 2.2.7.
Does this version works for CM 6.1.0 Nexus One?
I just received 2.2.7 in a silent OTA update.
ruined my 2.2.6 install.... now I cant get it back even with the steps above
My market just updated itself to 2.2.7, no notification received.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
When I flash this in recovery it doesn't install. Any suggestions?

New flash player update not working with skyraider 3.5?

okay, i dont know if this has to do with sky raider, so please correct me if im wrong...im new to rooting and all that
but anyway, i tried to install the update and it told me the package was not signed correctly
SkyRaider 3.5 has a custom modified version of Flash 10.1 so that the included Hulu app works properly. It's the same as the market version.
HOWEVER, if you're really hell-bent on installing the version from the market. You must first uninstall Flash 10.1, then download and install the market "update"
Thanks, I was just wondering...like I said I'm new to all this stuff
Is there a way to remove the update notification? When I go into the market and look under my apps it shows an update available for flash. I dont want to do the update.
