Hello, I hope someone will be able to help me...
Details: I have Nexus One, CM6.1 RC1 ROM, Clockwork Recovery [latest], app2ext on 16GB sd card. OS: Windows7 Ultimate 64bit
When I try to add Nexus to devices via BR radio Nexus and Windows 7 show different passkeys and therefore cannot be paired. This is so bizarre I even don't know where to start troubleshooting. Anyway I can successfully pair regular mobile (Sony Eriksson w880i) or conversely connect my Nexus to other devices such as headset, other mobiles, car.
Any suggestions?
If understand you right, you are saying that Windows passkey for bluetooth and your phone's passkey for bluetooth are different.
Now again I might not be understanding you fully.
Each device its obviously going to have a different passkey. If everything device on the planet using BT had the same passkey, what would be the point of the passkey in the first place? Type the windows passkey on your phone and type the phone passkey on windows. Or just use a USB cable.
If I didnt understand you correctly, I'm sorry.
This is not how it works. It ask if the passkey shown on the screen is the same one as on the other device. Yes or no question. I don't have a chance to type one. U c?

I attached a screenshot to explain.
Sometimes it does not ask for passkey and instead show error 0x80004005

hey XDAs
received my omnia 7 on last friday and it´s everything i could´ve asked for!
but now i got a little problem...
at first, some facts: i´m on a macbook pro and i use the windows phone 7 connector (tried win 7 and zune via boot camp, too).
i tried to unlock with 2 different trys, a) with chevron and b) with some dialer code to get in the "diagnosis" menu........both tries failed!
but after b) i got a new "diagnosis" tile in my apps menu
now i have the problem, that my pc can´t recognize the phone anymore...win 7 and zune say "no phone connected" and the wp7 connector (mac) doesn´t do anything (should start automatically, when phone is plugged in) but i get a "new network device found" message where i need to configure the new device.
(in addition, i THINK that my phone doesn´t even load the battery through the usb port, so maybe my cable is broken?)
maybe i can´t connect my phone because of the "diagnosis" menu?? and how can i remove this app??? maybe i should do a factory reset?
so what´s the problem here??? even if i can´t do the unlock, it sucks not being able to put music, videos or even updates on my omnia ;(
really nobody?
I don't know anything about using Macs with a WP7, but on windows, you need yo make sure you have the latest Zune. Also, if you have hacked to allow tethering, you have also turned off the Zune sync function.

The problem is you aren't actually running windows, it's still a virtual system. The USB controls are still through your mac. You will not be able to connect your win7 phone to a mac, that is not possible, and your wasting your time even attempting it. Sell the mac and buy a laptop, you will be happier.

If he's using VMWare fusion and accessing a Win7 guest via OSX host, then you're right.
However, if he's dual-booting Win7 through Boot Camp, then it should still work.
Samsung phones, like LG phones, have a way of switching the USB mode to allow Zune or allow tethering (the latter killed by Mango).
Monkeytown will have to follow the instructions for changing the USB mode back to the one that allows for Zune (on LG phones, it's called MS COMPOSITE).
i´m running a dual boot system, no vmware...
and microsoft released the wp7 connector themselves for mac, so it SHOULD work :/
i think i never saw an option of tethering in the settings menu, so how can i do that? i mean, change the usb mode
/e: i managed to get another omnia 7, and it works like a charm via my usb cable and mac connector
so....i would like to see the instructions that i should follow -.-
I know i should know how to do this but what's the trick to getting the TF300 to connect to my laptop over bluetooth?
When i connect the tablet i get "Windows was unable to install device driver" and in the device mangler it shows two entries for "bluetooth peripheral device" with a yellow exclamation mark.
My Acer A500 connects without any problems.
My TF300 is on .29 firmware and my laptop is running Windows 7 64-bit
i have 3 bluetooth headsets and none of them work with my windows 7 laptop,
it does recognize the headsets but just say that error (bluetooth peripheral device). never able to install driver
while the headsets work fine on my sister's ipod touch, my brother's ipad, but never work for windows 7
if anyone knows how to fix this issue please let me know
but how does your acer a500 connect with windows 7?
I just paired my transformer with my Windows 7 64 bit laptop via bluetooth without issues. Windows 7 also supports headphones (old Jabra 620's) and a
Creative 200 speaker. My laptop devices under bluetooth list my laptops. Radio BCM2046 and a Microsoft bluetooth enumerator.
You might check out the various Win 7 support areas/forums.

Same here. No issues pairing Windows 7 64-bit. Of course I made sure my laptop had an internet connection so it could download and install the necessary drivers.

I have an internet connection and everything else i pair with it works... (headsets, my Photon, my A500) ..
Not something i NEED...just wondering if anyone had any ideas
Wasn't trying to be snarky before. Sometimes just have to start from beginning. Lenovo laptop, Win7/64-bit/SP1 current with all updates when I got the TF300. Literally just turned on BT and paired. Think I made tablet discoverable and found it on laptop.
I do run into problems from time to time with both wifi and BT configs. When things fail for whatever reason I end up deleting, rebooting and recreating. It is Microsoft afterall...
Has anyone successfully paired this with the Note 10.1? When trying to pair, the Note asks for a password/pin which I cannot find anywhere. Any suggestions?

Only a process of elimination. Ensure that tablet can successfully connect to some other bluetooth device and that the mouse can connect to some other device such as a PC or notebook via bluetooth. Want to exclude any hardware fault.
You could also contact Canon support for their suggestions.
It does look like an interesting device. Good luck.

I guess here is some problem with pairing. I have the same issue with my Nexus 7 32GB (official Android 4.3).
In my case, the mouse needs no pairing code with Win 7 or Debian Jessie (and works with both systems), but Nexus with Android 4.3 asks for the pairing code. Another BT mouse (Rapoo model 6200) works nicely with all systems (Win 7, Debian and Android) without any pairing code.
New tests with another devices, Sep-06:
Cannot be paired with Nexus S, both official Android 4.1.2 or CM or with Lenovo A660 (pudil's ROM based on original Android 4.0.4 version 025).
Apologies for opening this old (ancient) thread, but I'm seeing this behaviour on Windows now as well; up-to-date devices ask for a pin and refuse to connect, while older do not ask and connect instantly.
Did anyone have this on Windows, or fix the issue somehow?
Now I want to use a wired USB LAN adaptor on my S4 to access the wired network. However, after I insert the USB LAN adaptor, it powers up but cannot connect to the LAN. There is no connection. How should I set up? Thanks.
love to help.
I would love to help.. but I need a little more information first... like what android version ie. 4.4.2. (Found in Settings.apk under 'about phone'.)
Second which type of Computer are you trying to utilize? Like Windows 7 Home Premium or Mac OSX leopard/snow leopard. Or even Linux like redhat or Gnome.. this will allow me to rule out software/hardware issues and focus on the exact circumstances your in.. thx bud.

He's trying to connect his phone to the network with a USB ethernet adapter.... I think you completely missed the point of the post.
Well if so thanks for the info.. I was simply trying to narrow down the source. In which way did it seem as though I missed the point? The point was he/she had trouble with their phone connecting to a network.. right? Well in my experience.. most home networks are routed through a PC.. so my obvious conclusion was the other end like not the phone... idk I'm kinda new here and am doing my best.. lol anyway thx.
I've got a new Sony sbh60 bluetooth headset, and it works great on my Sony Experia. But I'm also trying to connect the headset to either my Ipad or my Windows 8 laptop via bluetooth, but Windows (and IOS) are not picking the device up.
Can the device work with non-Sony devices wirelessly? Any ideas of what else I can try?
More than one year later, and I still cannot connect SBH60 on Bluetooth with my windows 7 laptop.
Hey
I just got the headset as a gift from SONY and I had the same problem. The point is: HAD I went to sonymobile.com/support, chose the device SBH60 and followed the steps. Basically, you need to activate something like multidevice connectivity and then connect to one, disconnect, and connect to 2nd. Just follow the steps on the webpage
Cheers
