Ok ive got fpsece on my HTC HD2 but i cant get the multi touch to work at all im trying to get gran turismo and final fantasy 7 on my phone but it unplayable without multi touch so please can anybody help me sort this problem out
Are you using the free edition or the paid edition? I don't think the free edition supports multi-touch yet. Or if it does indeed support it on the free edition, it isn't as good as the paid edition.

I have solved the multitouch issues.
You must do this.
copy first the fpse.ini File from the install dir of your Leo to PC.Then open the File with an editor.
Look at the Text and find the [Pocket PC] section.Type HD2=1 and find stylus_Mode=1.Change 1 to 0.
Save the File now and put it back into your install dir of Fpse onto your Leo.
And something important.
delete your gamesetting before you run Fpse and remap the Keys for your game again.
Here you are,
now you have Multitouch.
ive done it too and it works great.
PS:you must have the donated version of Fpse.Otherwise it wont work.
I have the free edition but i couldnt find anywhere that you needed the paid version to get multi touch plus i cant buy it i dont have paypal or anything so if anybodys got it would they be able to send me it

the problem is that the donated version works only at the registered handy.That means its registered with my name and other things.Do you have no friend or somethig with Paypal.Its enough to donate 5 bucks for the full version.

When youve donated you will become an Email to the Paypal registered Email adress.At this Mail is the donated full version cab attached.
Install it over the free version of Fpse.Dont delete the free version.Just overwrite/install it.That was it.

Ok well just got it running got GT running perfect 60FPS controls work liek a dream i went to switch back from landscape to portrait and it crashed lol but runs fine and guess what ive just been sent my supporter version again

See,when you know what to do,it is just simple.
For the landscapemode you will have to remapp the keys.
ok ive mapped my keys but i keep getting a crash well not a full crash but the picture shifts slightly to the right and my keys dissappear and the exit wont work then so i have to pull out the battery
ok seems to be working perfectly now even the FF7 sounds issues i keep reading about have just gone
unpack and copy this file into your Fpse Bios Folder.
And when you are in landscapemode and you will quit gaming do this.
turn your Handy normal in hand and touch the FPS digits in upper left corner.This will turn the game in normal mode.Than hold the powerbutton of Fpse untill it ends.Then you dont have to pull out the battery.

I'm quite new to this site and also just recently got hold of the HTC S710. This is really a kick ass little phone. Like a kid who got a new toy i started installing application, one of them Mxit (www.mxit.co.za/wap).
The 1st thing i realized was that i could not use the backspace key, (the 1 with the blue arrow on it) to erase mistyped text, I had to go to the Menu, Scroll up until I got "back" and the letter got erased, i had to do this for every single letter.
Then I installed Dr. Gonzo's Windows Mobile 6.1 v1.1 Rom. It just got worse, the Mxit application got shrinked somehow and didn't display full screen. but i had my backspace button working But still, its quite annoying not being able to have it in full screen like on my Nokia N80 which i had.
Then I installed Dr. Gonzo's New_Guava ROM v.1.0 OS: 5.2.1623.18129.0.4.5, and it runs like a dream, right about until I installed Mxit again and the application got shown in full screen but it cut off my last 3 contacts including the functionality of an inline editor (shows a bar at the bottom on the live chat screen to enter text) but I can not see this bar because its somehow getting hidden behind my Start Menu.
I read a few posts, and came to the conclusion that its got something to do with my JAVA. Right, i download at least 10 different versions, each and everyone doing exactly what i mentioned above.
If anyone can please help me get this sorted out I would be forever grateful. Sorry for the long post, but I had to describe whats going on.

This is a problem with the Jbed version for Vox.
I was hoping that some other Java version(other than esmertec) might resolve this. But I have no time to try that now.
Have to finish my exams first.
If you can find the IBM J9 or old Tao Intent versions, do try that.

Thank you for the reply, i honestly dont know what Java versions to download. When i say that ive tried a few, I mean about 15 of them.

hi, im using the vox as well but my mxit works fine... its not as perfect as the nokia i used b4 but its ok... i never experienced half of ur problem, all it does is when i use the keyboard, i hev 2 scroll down to read some of the posting. another thing i realized yesterday is when i post a long message it comes to a point where i cant c what im writting... 1 more thing is abt file access and moola top up... that feature is not compatible on the vox and i cant view pics sent to me... i wanna try a different java as well... will let u know whats up....

Hi there,
Does your inline edit work, can you see the bar where your suppose to type your text in and is your Mxit fullscreen is it being cut of at the bottom. Oh and do you use the blue arrow key, does it delete text, cos mine just closes the application completely!!
What JAVA version are you running...!?

Okay, back to this thread, I installed Mxit again, hoping that by now I can have it running fullscreen and hopefully be able to see my last 3 or 4 contacts at the bottom but no luck. Okay so this morning I flashed the WM 6.1 (96 dpi) version for the Vox, and guess what, Mxit works, I can see my contacts at the bottom and my inline edit works like a charm. The only problem I got is when I pushed the Blue Back Arrow button (which i normally use to backspace with) it closes the application.
So now my question, did it work because the ROM runs in 96 dpi, or is it the Java version on the phone which is Jeodek Build ID: 20070425.1.1....?
I'm could not get the version downloaded anywhere, but i did find some with heap size fixes......crossing my fingers that it works!!!

Okay, so I got my Mxit to work, fullscreen, being able to see all my contacts including the damn inline edit bar at the bottom....
Now I have 1 problem, can anyone tell me how to change the key mapping of the "Blue Arrow Key" on the front display of the VOX.
What happens is, i use it as a way to backspace and delete text. But everytime i press it, it ask me if i want to close the Java application....
Can anyone tell me how to fix this please....?!
Ok - I am looking for some way to run Sony's LocationFree on my PPC. There used to be a solution called NetFront LocationFree Player, but it is no longer being sold. Even the places that say they have it - don't.
Is there any other frontend software that I can use. I don't want to changes solutions completely (aka Slingbox or Orb) since I use my PSP heavily with this service.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. (Or if you know where I can buy that software would work too!) Thanks!

the cab actually wont help because there is no way to get a serial. trust me on this. ive even emailed netfront/access about it. serials only work on one unit and no one who uses this is giving up their code.

I'm a little confused. All the media that I want like pictures and videos, I can easily put right on my phone. The only reason I would want Orb would be to stream my cable tv. After spending the money on a decent tuner card, I could have just bought a Slingbox. What are the advantages of Orb?

But has anyone managed to get any emulator working on the HD2, I used to have several for my TytnII, PicoDrive, Morphgear etc.. They all worked fine.
Tried to get a simple gameboy emulator working, but it doesn't seem to support the HD2's screen resolution. Any help?

FPSECE runs without any issues on the HD2 and this is on the old 0.96 build.

please note, donate a few beers to struck and you can save your games as well, and you get unlimited updates, upto the very final. Check ou some betatesting from frenchaddict with fpsece 0.1 on youtube
Yes the FPSE playstation emu works nicely for me on the HD2. Got about 5 games on my phone for it now.
Also the morphgear with multi-touch is pretty awesome, runs just about everything from genesis, nes, snes to gba. Though sound is not great...
I also tried out a MAMECE emulator, worked nicely but no touch screen controls. Had to map just about every button to run a game...

I would have done that, if I weren't 15 years old..

You can use a bank account with paypal - don't need any type of card. Anyone can have a bank account - there's no age limit

I have a lil problem. I tried to install Zenonia on my HD2 and it didn't work...
I tried to install it on many roms but each time, zenonia didn't boot...
I tried everthing (soft reset after install, install on sd or device, install net framework 3.5 messages...)
2 days ago, i flashed Pandora 1.4 and the game worked..But after i flashed Pandora 1.5, the game didn't work anymore...
So, if this game works sometimes on some roms, there is probably something to do...
Any idea ???

All in all I am a bit piss$d off about this.
I bought Zennonia for my touch pro2 on Windows market place.
Great game bashed it for ages.
Then got my HD2. Logged into windows market place. Game doesnt show.
WTF I couldnt download it to my new phone.
Log in on Touch pro 2 and voila it shows.
I am screwing.
So I had to get an older hacked version which plays fine (1.4). But I was forced to scour dodgy net scenes to get a freeby. I am not happy at all. So I uninstalled it and now wont play it.
I am going to complain as the market place says up to 5 devices. I had actually removed the game from my Touch pr 2 as well.
This is a good reason why I wont be using windows Market place again.
If anyone can offer advise as to why it doesnt appear I would be gratefull.

Have you tried microsoft customer service and support? I'm sure they would be able to help you.
You can get Zenonia from Handango, thats what I did. It now also shows in my Marketplace, but its more expensive than via Handango anyways.
It works for me, but I installed it twice and then restarted the phone before it would run.
Nobody can help me ???

I have realized that I can run the game only straight after softreset. If I run any other app and then try to run Zenonia the game will not launch.
So my advise is do a softreset and after that try to run the game.
BTW, before doing softreset, delete the file that the game produce from root directory of your device(DxState.sav).
on my hd2 in marketplace Zenonia is available but version 1.3 which obviously is older...maybe that is the problem...newer version must have issues with hd2 that is why they let us have the older one.

I've played that game on my HD2 too and if i remeber correctly, it could be easily minimalised by pressing the home button (or windows button) and then closed in taskmanager.. Keep it simple, man

you can close it with the taskmanager.
Then you can't start it again. Only after a softreset.
Yeah that was it. Been a while since I've bothered with it. Either way, bit of a mess about for a game that cost me 6 quid or so.

With some taskbar, the game doesn't work...
I tried on Pandora 1.5 with DJCEDRIC taskbar and it works again !!!
On my last rom (pandora 1.4), i installed this taskbar and that's why it worked !!!
After installing this Installer ceci : NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab
My Zenonia is now working !

Can any of you programming masters port the Exult engine to work on the HD2? I love Ultima7 and Part 2. They had it working on PocketPC Window Mobile 5. If any one can get this working e.g the right screen res and get the mouse in sync...it work make my year

Ive changed the res so its running 800 by 480 which looks great. But i cant move with the right click I can double click but thats all....

Is this a working version? Does this require a certian version of Android? I'm on 2.1 still and Exult just FC's immediately on startup.
I have the same problem. I installed the Exultandroid.apk from Exult's website, and it force closes immediately. I have a myTouch 3G Fender running 2.2.1.
I can't find anything on any forum that would constitute "troubleshooting" if anyone could help me figure out how to fix this, that would be much appreciated.
