trying to find a working midlet manager

hey guys im trying to find a working midlet manager. i say working cuz my phone having wm6 might be causing the problem of some not working. anyone have one they think will work?

this one is the best, and well with some work it can launch most java midp 2.0 (not 3D) games

Can you define "work"?

for me it seems that the jblend one works better. plus it is full screen so all the applications will look good.
jeodek did not work so good for me.

joedek (esmertec) is good. to bad that I cannot made the apps go thru http proxy (i've modified the config file.. but no effect).

unfortunally both of them are not as good. found this after playing with both of them. some apps work good on jblend which is better. but some don't work on it. so both of the managers would be good together. some apps installed on one, while some on the other.

now that i play with jeodek a little more, i think it actually mutes the sound on my phone, and i then need to restart my device. im about to try Jblend now.
EDIT:so far Jblend supports just as much, but takes longer to install..
EDIT:ok I tried a game that supposed to display 176x144 but it less than 100 pixels. its extremely small...and...hahaha that sound is WAY disorted. i think i like jeodek more.
any other midlet managers besides joedek and Jblend?

yes! this is what happened to me also. the sound on the phone was muted by jeodek after some time and i had to give it a restart, which is annoying as hell.

does anyone know how to force full screen on jeodek? I would prefer blurry than little.
I couldn't try jblend because it doesn't let me choose a local file. Any solutions for that, apart from making your own webspace?

When you install it, it will just associate itself with JAR files - this means you'll only need to click JAR files in the file system for them to be auto-deployed.

have a look at the Diamond section, i'm sure they have a lot of aps/games that should work quite wel with our Pro

I've tried a bunch (all for VGA) and none has failed this far..

Zenonia - RPG games

Hello,
I have a lil problem. I tried to install Zenonia on my HD2 and it didn't work...
I tried to install it on many roms but each time, zenonia didn't boot...
I tried everthing (soft reset after install, install on sd or device, install net framework 3.5 messages...)
2 days ago, i flashed Pandora 1.4 and the game worked..But after i flashed Pandora 1.5, the game didn't work anymore...
So, if this game works sometimes on some roms, there is probably something to do...
Any idea ???

All in all I am a bit piss$d off about this.
I bought Zennonia for my touch pro2 on Windows market place.
Great game bashed it for ages.
Then got my HD2. Logged into windows market place. Game doesnt show.
WTF I couldnt download it to my new phone.
Log in on Touch pro 2 and voila it shows.
I am screwing.
So I had to get an older hacked version which plays fine (1.4). But I was forced to scour dodgy net scenes to get a freeby. I am not happy at all. So I uninstalled it and now wont play it.
I am going to complain as the market place says up to 5 devices. I had actually removed the game from my Touch pr 2 as well.
This is a good reason why I wont be using windows Market place again.
If anyone can offer advise as to why it doesnt appear I would be gratefull.

Have you tried microsoft customer service and support? I'm sure they would be able to help you.

You can get Zenonia from Handango, thats what I did. It now also shows in my Marketplace, but its more expensive than via Handango anyways.
It works for me, but I installed it twice and then restarted the phone before it would run.

Nobody can help me ???

I have realized that I can run the game only straight after softreset. If I run any other app and then try to run Zenonia the game will not launch.
So my advise is do a softreset and after that try to run the game.
BTW, before doing softreset, delete the file that the game produce from root directory of your device(DxState.sav).

on my hd2 in marketplace Zenonia is available but version 1.3 which obviously is older...maybe that is the problem...newer version must have issues with hd2 that is why they let us have the older one.

I downloaded this a while ago, great game. But I couldn't close it. Had to reset device to close it. Become rather annoying so uninstalled it.

I've played that game on my HD2 too and if i remeber correctly, it could be easily minimalised by pressing the home button (or windows button) and then closed in taskmanager.. Keep it simple, man

you can close it with the taskmanager.
Then you can't start it again. Only after a softreset.

Yeah that was it. Been a while since I've bothered with it. Either way, bit of a mess about for a game that cost me 6 quid or so.

It work again ! I found solution after some debate with people !!!!
With some taskbar, the game doesn't work...
I tried on Pandora 1.5 with DJCEDRIC taskbar and it works again !!!
On my last rom (pandora 1.4), i installed this taskbar and that's why it worked !!!

After installing this Installer ceci : NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab
My Zenonia is now working !
HD2 user

On energyrom, just disable arkswitch before launching the game and it works.

I have tested Shift and monopoly. Both works but with some strange problems.
Shift hungs sometimes (i think it is due to the lack of memory), and monopoly is unplayable after few moments because it slows down to 5 FPS! When game is just started everything is smooth.
Please test games and post your opinions!

Looks like it`s for HD2 tho.
Maybe you are using ChainFire driver?
Maybe you can adjust the driver setting for monoploy might work.

Yes I am using Chainfire drivers. I have just installed Sims3 and its playable and quite smooth.

Just tried monopolly and its running fine for me, played for a full 40 mins (yeah its addictive this one) with no probs. Id recommend if you have sense or any apps that consume lots of ram make sure you close or disable before running the game.
Edit: I've since tried need for speed shift and that also works fine for me, my only issue is i cant get the g-sensor to work in these ea games so i cant shake the dice in monopoly and i have no steering in nfs ! Im using the arnookie accelerometer cab, works with resco bubbles but not these :-(. Did anyone manage to get the accelerometer working in these games ?

Hmm thats odd im using the same g sensor and its the latest one too ... ill have to do a hard reset to see if that gets it working.

Perhaps it's beacuse you have RESCO PHOTOMANAGER. If yes try this:
cut the file "SmiSensorServer_1.dll" on WINDOWS and paste it on Program files/resco photomanager
Try again. It works for me (just tested on NFS)

No resco photomanager here, just resco explorer ... do you mind if i ask which version of the arnookie sensor are you using ? I have the latest cab version.

Its amazing that you guys can run NFS, mine can not even play the game, it always hangs after the race starts. Does any1 have any ideas?

urmmm, mine did that, but turning the phone into the opposite landscape mode, and then into portrait mode seems to work for novembre's rom (so long as you have the G-Sensor enabled for auto orientation obvs) hope this helps =)

If you want test your HTCsensorSDk... try to run G-PAD (available on XDA)
And try to test if Rotation works...
i have inserted in Post over Mobilism all instructions to work on TG01...

G-sensor have quite big lag in this game...

couldnt get monopoly to download, ill try later and ive never been a sims fan but shift ive got and i have had some issues with it freezes but i think its a memory issue. Usually a soft reset and reinstallation of the cab does the trick.
Not to sure which g-sensor im using but i have novembres ROM and it all works fine - excellent even on the steering.

[Q] fpsece multi touch

Ok ive got fpsece on my HTC HD2 but i cant get the multi touch to work at all im trying to get gran turismo and final fantasy 7 on my phone but it unplayable without multi touch so please can anybody help me sort this problem out

Are you using the free edition or the paid edition? I don't think the free edition supports multi-touch yet. Or if it does indeed support it on the free edition, it isn't as good as the paid edition.

I have the buyed version of Fpse but no multitouch.What could i do or set in the settings to have multitouch.Test drive 6 is unplayable without multitouch.

I have solved the multitouch issues.
You must do this.
copy first the fpse.ini File from the install dir of your Leo to PC.Then open the File with an editor.
Look at the Text and find the [Pocket PC] section.Type HD2=1 and find stylus_Mode=1.Change 1 to 0.
Save the File now and put it back into your install dir of Fpse onto your Leo.
And something important.
delete your gamesetting before you run Fpse and remap the Keys for your game again.
Here you are,
now you have Multitouch.
ive done it too and it works great.
PS:you must have the donated version of Fpse.Otherwise it wont work.

I have the free edition but i couldnt find anywhere that you needed the paid version to get multi touch plus i cant buy it i dont have paypal or anything so if anybodys got it would they be able to send me it

the problem is that the donated version works only at the registered handy.That means its registered with my name and other things.Do you have no friend or somethig with Paypal.Its enough to donate 5 bucks for the full version.

Just click 5 Pounds.Its 5,84 in euros.
When youve donated you will become an Email to the Paypal registered Email adress.At this Mail is the donated full version cab attached.
Install it over the free version of Fpse.Dont delete the free version.Just overwrite/install it.That was it.

Ok well just got it running got GT running perfect 60FPS controls work liek a dream i went to switch back from landscape to portrait and it crashed lol but runs fine and guess what ive just been sent my supporter version again

For the landscapemode you will have to remapp the keys.

ok ive mapped my keys but i keep getting a crash well not a full crash but the picture shifts slightly to the right and my keys dissappear and the exit wont work then so i have to pull out the battery

unpack and copy this file into your Fpse Bios Folder.
And when you are in landscapemode and you will quit gaming do this.
turn your Handy normal in hand and touch the FPS digits in upper left corner.This will turn the game in normal mode.Than hold the powerbutton of Fpse untill it ends.Then you dont have to pull out the battery.
