Hi everyone.
The marketplace is an important part of every enthusiast forum and I'd rather buy from someone in a forum I read than from ebay.
Unfortunately rotten apples exist everywhere.
Is there any possibility to have a marketplace feedback thread stickied in the market place forum?
What i have in mind is a very simple list with the names of the people who have engaged in a transaction as a seller/buyer/swap and in green successfull deals and red scams.
Ie:
Deni_alb buyer [green]3[/green]
After a transaction we can notify a mod to update the thread.
Thanks
Deni

I saw an add in my local Clist the other day where a guy was offering access to free and most paid apps for download. He obviously wanted to charge a fee for this and didn't give a lot of details. He did say he'd add an app and then add "his servers", which update weekly. Sounds to me like another guy making a buck off of off something meant to be free and developed by the hacking community. I did a google search but only turned up old stuff from at least a year back. All of which had been patched. Anyone know what key words I'm missing or what he's using, it could be cool?
**Mod Edit - Warez requests are against the rules you signed up to when you joined the site. Please read and understand them BEFORE posting in future**
That would be completely against the forum rules.
Developers have to eat. This is piracy and not only against the rules @ XDA, but against the law.
Uncool.
MOD EDIT-Posts of this nature are not allowed here at XDA. Encouraging the public to flame HTC will only cause problems for XDA and the community as a whole.
thats the pretty stupiest way to get the unlock: spamming the executives -.-

This. Also, why the custom fonts and styles? They look horrendous and OP should feel bad.

if you act like an adult it's a far better choice than complaining on Forums or your favorite blog.
put on your big boy pants and write a decent E-mail requesting an unlocked/unsigned bootloader and maybe someone that actually makes the decisions will consider your plea.
@Mod............ I think this thread should be removed urgently
Filling HTC email accounts with pleas from individuals is going to completely p**s off the recipients and do nothing but alienate the decision makers.
We've made ourselves heard via twitter, facebook and xda and HTC have announced a review of the policy. Keep withe the facebook, twitter, etc and give the review a chance.
Please guys do not do this
The first post of this thread has been edited. Publicly encouraging people to flame is something that we at XDA do not endorse. Please do not post threads like this.
SHIELDS UP!
RED ALERT!
Thread closed.
Mod Edit: Thread closed for selling outside of XDA Marketplace.

Bump, I'm open to legitimate offers
This will be better served in the marketplace. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=476
good call, sorry about that, completely forgot there was a marketplace here. Guess I'm too used to droid forums haha
Would you be willing to sell me the clip case only shipping to Canada?
maybe eventually, but for now I'd like to sell everything together
I'm looking for one or two talented writers who wish to cover the most interesting and relevant development news on our lovely site. Writers must be able to consistently find and write about interesting development happenings from the forums. This must be done accurately and with enthusiasm! They must also demonstrate grammatical and stylistic prowess. And since this is a paid position, having a PayPal account is preferable as well.
If interested, please refer to the listing in the Job Board.
Thanks!
I am not sure if this is allowed on this site or if it belongs in a different forum, but I was wondering if anyone on this site was seeking a job position as an android developer in Chicago. It is a 6 month contract position. They aren't looking for someone that makes apps but someone with solid experience with android operating systems. They also want java and api experience. If anyone is interested or has any questions, email me at [email protected] If you are interested and don't mind doing so, I'd appreciate an updated resume along with it.
Thank you,
Connor McLeod

Was does XDA have a job board?
We get numerous requests from companies looking to hire bright engineers and developers, and XDA has thousands of people of this caliber. With unemployment at record highs all across the world, we thought we'd do our part by connecting firms that are hiring, with people that might be interested in work.
Are these paid jobs?
Yes, all jobs are salaried positions.
How do I get my job posted here?
Email [email protected] from your corporate email address. Provide the job posting and location. We will do our best to verify the validity of the job.
Please note: We provide this job board as a free service, and will not be involved in any of the hiring process.

It's all good pal. To be fair, I'd say you posted it in the next best place really.
Anyway, welcome to XDA. I hope you'll stick around and enjoy what the community has to offer.
