[REQ] HTC HD2 - Personnal Bottun - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I searched on the xda Forum, but i found nothing, so i decided to create this request post.
I search an application, to have a shortcut to to do what i want.
For example : If for the moment i use a lot games, i want that when i touch the shortcut of this application, i go in the folder of my games.
And, if the next week i look a lot of te TV, hwen i touch the shortcut of this application, my TV application opens.
Because i have already my favorites applications, contacts, games or other things in shortcut, but some other application are my favorite just during a moment, a day, a weekend or a week.
So i will not create a shortcut everytime, i prefere to have just one shortcut, and edit it easily.
I hope someone will help me to find it, if this application exists.
And if it does not exist, i hope someone can create it, with for exemple a name like HD2 Personnal Button.

Re-program touch flo action (change application launched)

Hi,
This is probably a no, (and i've searched for this already btw but not found anything), but....
Is it possible to launch a different application other than the touch cube when you slide your thumb up the screen ?
thanks in advance
Matt
Yes it is, but not with the normal TouchFlo. Search for FTouchFlo, it does basically the same, but you can assign any command to each direction of sliding your finger over the screen.
That means four different possibilities.
Don't know if this helps, but you can try this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1971424
Note that VJBrisk is basically just a tiny app I made to allow you to replace one executable (eg BioTouch.exe), with VJBrisk, and VJBrisk will allow you to launch a shortcut with parameters.
You may well not need to do that step, depending on your needs. The thread above explains this much better than my mumblings.

cheers chaps, will take a look at these.
I had hoped it was as simple as a registry change but guess not
thanks
Matt
Use UltimateLauncher, and get rid of TouchFLO Cube. It also lets you assign functions to run any .EXE or .LNK to swipes in all 4 directions. That's what I did. But I only use Up and Down. Up to get open my contacts and down to invoke the S2U2 screen lock.
I've decided to go with vjbrisk which is working very well at the moment.
however, even with show all files I am unable to fine either LaunchStartupApp.lst or Launchstartupapp in the windows file. Am using a polaris (o2 orbit 2)...any ideas where I can find this or if it's called anything else.
It's not the end of the world, would just be useful to free up 5mb or so.
cheers
Matt

Personal setings in cooked ROM

Hello
I have a few questions about cooking WM6 ROM.
Could anybody help me?
1. How to make my own menu start structure?
2. How set my own ring tones to notifications?
3. How to make HTC Home pack with covered contacts, music and profiles tabs?
I know these have been covered elsewhere, but maybe not explicitly and in one place - so:
1) In an Initflashes file, you'll have to tell it to move a shortcut into the \Windows\Start Menu\ folder, or the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ folder - depending where you want the link to show under the Start menu.
2) Change your ringtone/notifications to the one you want, then look through your registry for it - you might want to look around the HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds and HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications keys. Once you've seen how you want them set up, make (or edit an existing) .rgu to include these changes.
3) Have a look in Alex's excellent kitchen at the existing HTC Home modification packages. These should point you in the right direction for what files and settings to include (don't use HTC Home so can't help more on this).
If you don't know what I mean by any of the above, please do an awful lot more looking around the Wiki and related threads as starting threads around here when the information is here for the finding is a quick method for lots of flaming and not much help (friendly advice - not a threat!)
Good luck.
Thanks for answer.
1) This it’s clear for me. But I don’t know hove to change place of existing shortcut like: Mobile Office, search, Note, etc.
2) I will try this way.
3) I don’t know why, but Alex's HOME packages don’t work correctly on my Polish rom. Can’t use weather and launcher tabs.
4) I had make my own HOME packages based on previous version. In this version I don’t have tabs with settings.

While most shortcuts are set by initflashes files, the ones for those in the ROM are often set by .provxml files. In the case of Office, this is in mxipupdate_office_100.provxml which is in the SYS/Office folder in the kitchen. I just use Notepad to edit it.
Sorry I can't help with the HTCHome bits - just takes up too much space on my Today screen for my liking.

more than 15 entries in favorites?

Hi all,
Since last monday I am also the proud owner of the touch pro from HTC.
It's certanly a big change coming from the wizard, I have 2 of them in case my new phone stops working.
But what I like to know is: is it possible to add more than 15 favs in the touchflo 3d interface?
Hope someone can help me
Request also
Same here, mate.
I would also like to see an unlimited amount of favorites in the Tflo3d contacts tab. It wouldn't be called favorites than anymore but just Contacts Tab!
See my pro's and con's with the Raphael, both hardware and software. This one you can add to the software list disadvantages.

Anyhow, if anybody has an idea, please write it here!

Anybody got back to you on this one. I will also like to add more favorites.
i'm 99% sure its not possible.
According to HTC manual, fifteen (15) is the maximum.
Though I am sure that someone will come up with a tweak
Fact of the matter is:
It's not possible with current version of TF3D. Not even a tweak or a registry setting.
Hopefully in a new update of TF3D or perhaps TouchXperience will have this capability!
We'll wait and see what happens, hoping developers will know about these user wishes.
Regards....
If you're going to have that many favorites, isn't that the same as WM Contacts app? Why even bother with Favorites?
Maybe you'll actually looking for call groups like how Nokia has them?
Nu,
I have about 200 contacts, 15 favorites of 200 wont cut it. At least give me 40. I dont expect unlimited, 200 favorites is just ridiculous and you are right on that one. But 15, I mean, I have more than 15 customers that I have to call, to go throught all contacts or voice command (which I have to repeat like 5 times before I give up). I am sure its just a variable somewhere with a fixed value that can be changed. I wish I could see that code behind it.
Yes, Lol is right.
15 fav's is just not enough. Your pathetic if you only have 15 dear friends and families.
I already have 15 best friends, no room for parents, brothers, other direct families and close collegues.
I believe if I speak to most off us, that, what we like to see is the Contacts tab showing just 15 fav's needs a complete makeover in where the user gets to choose he/she wants to have only XX number of fav's shown, OR the entire list of contacts, including some sort of alphabetic scrollbar on top.
TF3D is meant for quick usage of your most actions on a phone, like calling contacts, reading sms/email, browse photos, listen to music, select communications like BT, and quicklinks to programs. That's why TF3D has all these tabs, so you don't have to find your way through WM start menu. So now when trying to dial one, and go to contacts tab, and it's not in my fav's, then theres to much action needed to get the contact I want. (press more, scroll down etc.)
Like I said earlier, it should become a choice for users. Fav's or entire contacts list. And perhaps the 2 buttons left and right bottom corner could be like 'New contact' and right: 'Search contact'
It just an idea.
the developers making TouchXperience are in the right direction, I'm still waiting for their first release which is taking very long. They need to expand and let Beta users help them finish the product.

Tab for Skyscape programs...?

Hey guys!
First off just like to say that this is an amazing site and especially for a pocket pc newbie such as my self has enabled me to do great things with my HTC touch pro.
I have downloaded a series of programs from skyscape (medical ppc books) and i added them to the programs tab on the TouchFlo 3D. The prob is, they all have the same icon and no text shows so hard to tell them apart.
I was wondering if there is a way to add a new Tab on the touchflo so that it would work like a folder for all of my skyscape programs with text preferible to distinguish between them. That way i could access the programs with a seperate program tab just for special programs...
Thx in advance and keep up the great work!

The simplest way would be to create a shortcut to the folder the apps are installed in, and copy the folder shortcut to your windows programs folder.
or create a new folder with shortcuts to your apps and then create a shortcut to that folder in the programs group.
There are many other ways it could be done, but this would be the simplest for you, with very little room for making a mistake.
Cheers,
Beasty
Where did you get your version of skyscape for the touch pro?

Did you pay for skyscape or did you find a cracked version with a keygen somewhere? I can't seem to find it.

Do not ask, direct, instruct, discuss, or mention warez. I.E. trying to get retail software for free.
You have been warned.
sorry....what way should I go about stuff like that?
Warez discussion leads to a ban. No more warnings... the rules are clearly stated, it's nobody's fault but your own if you didn't read them. See you in 3 days...
To the OP:
Check this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3125006&postcount=16. It's actually directions on how to remove the AT&T tab from the Fuze's stock ROM, but adding lines to the file mentioned should allow you to add a tab.

Shortcuts on the Hexagon Start Menu WinMo 6.5

Greetings!
I have successfully installed the new Hard SPL for the Sprint Touch Pro 2 along with Mighty's new ROM!!! I am no longer a ROM flashing virgin. W00t!
I have a question though that I am not able to find an answer for. Hopefully this is an easy one.
Mighty has a great looking hexagon start menu with the following folders on it: Today, Games, Settings, GPS, Multimedia, Internet, Productivity, System, and Widgets. However, I have an issue where new cabs installed create shortcuts outside of these folders. I want them inside. So instead of the 8 listed above, I also have Sprint Navigation, MP3 Trimmer, cleanRam, MP3 Trimmer, NFL Mobile Live listed under them.
What I want is to put those programs under one of the 8 folders. Can I do that (hopefully)?
Thanks,
Tray
navigate to windows/start menu/programs then cut and paste the icons into the folders you want.
Worked like a charm! Thank you for the simple info!
