Zoom in & out in apps on X10i? - XPERIA X10 Themes and Apps

Hey Ppl.
Someone who knows how to zoom out, in Google earth?
And how to zoom in & out in opera mobile? (f.ex Google.com)

One word, Multi-touch.
And guess what, the X10 doesn't have it.

There are no buttons...
If so, I would like to know where?

Search for 'Europe' or 'Asia' or whatever ;-)

What's the difference between Droid x keyboard and stock 2.2 keyboard now that its multi touch?
droid x keyboard is miles easier to type on, imo

Some just like the looks of it. Less fuss so to speak. Doesn't have all the arrow keys for editing and moving around like the HTC Sense 2.2 keyboard does.
I use the Stock Froyo Keyboard which is similiar as well as Latin_IME MT(Sense).

I just like the droid x keyboard better i like the spacing between the letters

multitouch?
what does the multitouch get you?
and how do you get the stock froyo keyboard, without the arrow keys?
Droid x is better imo because instead of just being able to "correct" the word you are typing, you can touch in ANY word you have in the message or wherever and it will show you the options you had... TIME SAVER!!!
works fine 4 me

Would be nice to have my microphone / voice recognition back on the keyboard. The Samsung phones have swype with this button.
Interesting. If we could get that themed red that would be epic.
This would be awesome! I have no technical skills to so this but thought it might be worth showing there is interest for it.
o yeah

Swype 2.10.52.13753t100 has that feature. It can be downloaded from Swypes website if you're a beta member. But there are other means of getting it.

XDA does not allow links to Swype in threads. People get banned for it.

Took me a little while to locate the apk. If anyone is having trouble make sure your google search includes the quotation marks. I'm having trouble using the voice input with the stock miui sms app tho.web when I press the voice button the voice thing comes up, detects the speech, but when I finish speaking it just minimizes the keyboard and doesn't input any text.it does the same thing with other voice input keyboards too.does anyone know of a workaround?

Best alternate keyboard for someone with big hands?

Howdy all,
Im a larger guy and I was wondering what the consensus was on the best alternate keyboard for someone with big hands? I find the stock kb on the x10 always has me hitting other buttons because they are so skinny.

I say this to anyone who has a hard time using the generic keyboard. Use Swype. As long as your finger motions are correct and intentional, you will spell the correct word. It becomes easier for larger words since it autocorrects.Try swype, it is actually faster that using a qwerty keyboard once you get use to it.
a desktop keyboard? r u like gozzila? my fingers are HUGE and the modded HTC keyboard is more than perfect for me

+1...prefer slideit than swype.
Look for ThickButtons keyboard on the market. It predicts the next letters you could type and enlarges them. It could work for you.

You could just use whatever keyboard and turn the X10 sideways so you get the wider keyboard.

I am using it but do not have the details, Pollpix helped me to get this from google may be he can help!!
Yes, just a launcher...
Its freeware, you can search on google for it, I posted some screens a while ago in the post your homescreen topic, and I posted the link for download somewhere. Can't recall where and I am at work now so I can't directly put you through...
But dont get to excited, its fun to play with, but not very useful on daily use. Widgets are not possible neither, but it is surprisingly responsive when you tap the buttons...

Arc Slider

Hi everyone. I am new here.
Does anybody know if it is possible to have the arc slider for the android 2.1 or 2.2.1 Froyo?
Thanks
use lockbot pro
Sent from my AOSP on X10 (US) using XDA App
You can still slide in an arc motion, but it's not as pretty as the old arc lock.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
While you can still do that you no longer have the ability to switch the direction of the arc, I'm left handed so while the arc , and the current unlocker are left to right, it's much easier to go from right to left with the phone in my left hand.
lockbot.. as per previous suggestion..
Can someone tell me the differences between lockbot free and paid versions? It's not very well specified on the app download page.
