Arc Slider - XPERIA X10 Themes and Apps

Hi everyone. I am new here.
Does anybody know if it is possible to have the arc slider for the android 2.1 or 2.2.1 Froyo?
Thanks

use lockbot pro

You can still slide in an arc motion, but it's not as pretty as the old arc lock.

While you can still do that you no longer have the ability to switch the direction of the arc, I'm left handed so while the arc , and the current unlocker are left to right, it's much easier to go from right to left with the phone in my left hand.

lockbot.. as per previous suggestion..

Can someone tell me the differences between lockbot free and paid versions? It's not very well specified on the app download page.

Best alternate keyboard for someone with big hands?

Howdy all,
Im a larger guy and I was wondering what the consensus was on the best alternate keyboard for someone with big hands? I find the stock kb on the x10 always has me hitting other buttons because they are so skinny.

I say this to anyone who has a hard time using the generic keyboard. Use Swype. As long as your finger motions are correct and intentional, you will spell the correct word. It becomes easier for larger words since it autocorrects.Try swype, it is actually faster that using a qwerty keyboard once you get use to it.
a desktop keyboard? r u like gozzila? my fingers are HUGE and the modded HTC keyboard is more than perfect for me

for swype you will need to register at beta.swype.com, I know the website says registration is closed but they approved my account within a day of registration

+1...prefer slideit than swype.
Look for ThickButtons keyboard on the market. It predicts the next letters you could type and enlarges them. It could work for you.

HTC IME Keyboard
You could just use whatever keyboard and turn the X10 sideways so you get the wider keyboard.

Images - Xperia with Sense UI :D!

So, here's a few concept images I made to illustrate how Sense would look on the X10 !
I've attached them below, so take a look
I think it looks quite good on the X10!
Could have made life easier for yourself and just put a full screen image on your phone and viewed it then took the pictures lol but good try dude :-D

Wow looks like OLED to! Amazing!
SENSE is UGLY
I bought a SE because Sense is in my opinion hideous. We've learned that Xperia is not an Android Dev Phone. We can dream but we're at the mercy of SE.

YUK
this looks YUK
I tried it out but it didn't come out right, the dock is all jumbled up and such. I like how the sense ui looks but I'll wait until I get an actually HTC phone to use it.

it's because our phones are 'hdpi' (hi-res), which is like '240-dpi' in theming, but for Android 2.0 upwards.
So, 'mdpi' things will look strange and/or pixelated, because they are for a lower resolution phone.

Zoom in & out in apps on X10i?

Hey Ppl.
Someone who knows how to zoom out, in Google earth?
And how to zoom in & out in opera mobile? (f.ex Google.com)
One word, Multi-touch.
And guess what, the X10 doesn't have it.

I am using it but do not have the details, Pollpix helped me to get this from google may be he can help!!
Yes, just a launcher...
Its freeware, you can search on google for it, I posted some screens a while ago in the post your homescreen topic, and I posted the link for download somewhere. Can't recall where and I am at work now so I can't directly put you through...
But dont get to excited, its fun to play with, but not very useful on daily use. Widgets are not possible neither, but it is surprisingly responsive when you tap the buttons...

Sleep button/screen off effects

So my brother just got a program on his itouch, which is called tv tube sleep I think. It changes the effect of his screen off button to a tv off effect which is awesome. Ive found "screen off FX" on the android market, which is kinda cool I guess...but thing is its a widget, rather than actually pressing your sleep/screen off button...anyone find some kind of app im looking for? Thanks a lot guys! Kes
