I know what you mean but it does cover up the camera and part of the glass so now I feel more safe when I set it down on a table.

Does anyone have a thin silicone skin for this device? I can't find any. Just looking for something that'll make it more grippy without adding thickness.

You can use 3m Di-Noc? I use the carbon fiber vinyl wrap. I think it works alright and it looks sharp. The only other alternative would be spray on bed liner haha

I personally did not get them, but when I bought my phone 3rd party, it came with 2 geleskins so I guess they are available.
All you needed to do was search for skyrocket.

Plasti Dip clear bumper

I was bored.. my real case hasn't came in yet and I hate the clear look of the supplied bumper
My solution: Plasti Dip
Pros:
Looks better & Feels better than the clear bumper. It gives it a rubbery non slip texture.
Cons:
Not sure how well this will hold up. People paint there entire cars with this stuff so I assume it should last.
I figured I would give it a shot.. See attached pics.
I've got some plasti dip. I may just try this.

Whoever is using PlastiDip, make sure you put 3-4 layers. And it will peel/scuff off since it is removable. But nice work. I ran out of plastidip when I was doing the chrome trim around the car window and emblems.
I put several coats probably about 4. I will report back if I have any issues with it

Looks pretty good. I usually never use a case or bumper (or screen protector, for that matter), but I may just try this as is doesn't take away from the beautiful lines of this phone too much.
Did you do the insides of the bumper? or did you mask it off and if you did do the inside I'm assuming it fits tighter?

I see no point doing the inside. It won't do anything and if anything, I might come off with rubbing when putting the phone in. There might be some overspray but that usually rubs off with fingers.

I am very frustrated with plasti-dipping my devices. It starts to peel and rub off with a week or two with even the most minimal contact.
Yeah, I was so excited about trying this... but have read that it starts peeling quickly if handling and in/out of pocket a lot.
I can confirm that this does not hold up! Already peeling off... It was worth a shot tho
Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
I used the plasti dip. So far so good but it's only been on a day.
Sorry, posted in wrong thread...... oops...
Plasti dip won't last because 1. its being handled too much; 2. once something catches the edge, it will start to peel. That is why when spraying, anything that is overspray, it breaks away from the edges.

Just arrived Spigen Ultra Hybrid crystal clear

Extremely happy. Case fits my phone perfect. The cut outs are spot on however I wish the nexus scanner were wider however I'm sure it's something I will get use to.
The case makes the phone feel a lot more solid and not as fragile as it once did. My phone always felt like it was one drop away from being destroyed completely. Spigen did well by not adding a lot of weight to the phone and having the phones buttons cut out well but not perfect. There's not much separation between the volume up and down. It now feels like one large button. The headphone, camera, rear mic and charger are cut out clean with enough space.
The lip between the phone screen and case are perfect where I feel comfortable placing the phone on its screen side and not worry about it being scratched. The lip isn't so large that you feel this huge separation between phone and case.
9/10 imo. Hope this helps. Ask any questions you need.

There are 2 parts, the back is hard but the top, bottom, sides and corners are all softer and rubbery to absorb shock.
Tyvm! When I first saw this case I thought it was kind of ugly. It grew on me to the point I am actually looking forward to this one more than any of the others I already have.

Is that a hairline crack on the bottom right corner of the cutout for the fingerprint scanner? It's faint so I can't really tell.

I literally have less anxiety knowing my phone has a case now. I may contact spigen but I am not that anal. Plus I dont want to go without a case again.
Anyone know how this compares to the Ringke Fusion clear case? I thought they were exactly the same at first, but it looks like the Spigen leaves the whole visor exposed, while the Ringke only has a small cutout. I had to return my Ringke to Amazon because the TPU had a medium sized tear in the corner. I'm wondering if I should get this instead.

Yup. I got a crack in mine too. Probably how its molded. I spent a couple minutes trying to get it off thinking it was a smudge.
Spigen. They are top notch and you can't go wrong with them. I surely wouldn't let the crack stop you. I don't believe it effects the integrity of the case doing its job

Out shouldn't, Spigen cases have some of the best cutouts and Ive never had any issues with it on their tough armor that I'm using now. The cutout is likely the same size as their other case which would make it ~14.45mm according to my caliper. It's the perfect size in my opinion

If they put out a Slim Armor or Neo Hybrid, I'd buy them! Their "shimmery white" color on the Nexus 6 case was amazing! It was like an iridescent white. Very cool. The Frost N6P would look so damn sexy in one like that.

Over at reddit some users are seeing that line too:
reddit.com/r/Nexus6P/comments/3sl3iu/just_got_the_spigen_ultra_hybrid_crystal_clear
Interstingly, in the reddit OP's imgur album you can clearly see that there is no crack/scratch before the case was installed. In the later photos the crack appears when the case is on the phone.
Direct link to imgur album: imgur.com/a/pLn4g
Im guessing that the tension introduced to the case when snapping it onto the phone is causing the crack to appear. However, from the few cases I've seen it seems that so far these cases have the exact same small crack at the same position, so it may could be there on purpose. Only the guys at Spigen will know for sure.
I experienced the same hairline crack and contacted Spigen's CS team. They're helpful and sent out a replacement one for me. If you're willing to deal with the short wait time, then i'd say go for it.

Finally decided to take off the case

Hey there, I have finally decided to take off the case from my S6 gold platinum model, got a nice tempered glass screen guard for back side of the device, now it looks damn good, I know it's slippery but I think I can handle it, I guess it's not a wise move but phone looks awesome, what do you guys think, pls share your ideas and opinions.
Does it look different with the tempered glass? I use mine without protector and case and it got scratches on the back. Front got nothing though. Middle frame uhm... some little dents.
You are smart to have gotten a tempered glass for the back
Anyways, be careful!

Yeah thanks, I will be careful, no it doesn't look different, tempered glass seems to be nice so I couldn't find any difference, better you get a tempered glass and protect the phone
It's such a hard choice to make, even I want to take off the case, it feels so good!
I left my case on for now especially since it's my first all glass phone I don't really want to damage it
I dont like extra thickness and weight it adds when you put tempered glass protectors on front and back..
I've dropped the phone a bunch of times without a bcase, granted not onto asphalt. While aluminum is very pretty it dents quite easily, but the screen has held up well.
Can you share the link for the glass back you ordered?

Don't use water to clean the display, instead you can use soft cloth to wipe the screen.

I have ordered a dbrand skin for my S6. Was tired of using a case on this beautiful device.
I was being sarcastic man. Do u really need a post to let people know u removed the case of your phone?
I'm using a ~4.50 $ clear case that I bought on eBay. It's all silicone, super thin and looks really good because I still see all my phone. I get to enjoy the S6's design and yet have an excellent grip. No more worries of it slipping or worries when putting it down on a desk.
Yes, Ofcourse its good decision to take off the case. And today smartphone cases is one type of trendsetter of the tech industry. It is also important to protect your precious devices by using glass screen protector and cases.
Decided to put my case back again! After some weeks naked and one big drop, I've got a big dent on the speakers and 2 corners. The aluminum is the worst part of the phone since it's polished. If it had some kind of pattern to hide the dents, that'd be cool, but it's all plain polished! A bumper case would be ideal..

Suggest me a cool back cover/bumper

Hey guys
It's been quite a long time I'm having honor 8. All this i have used the same silicon case, which is weird and dirty now. I really hate it now. In Saudi it's quite hard to get any honor accessories. And on the internet we just see small reviews from the buyers(useless).
So, I'm asking you to suggest me a cool case/bumper and if you already have one of yours, then please upload a picture of it.(full screen covering tempred glass too, if you have). I would really love to see.
??
I bought this a few months ago for $0.99, and it really doesn't get better than this. Simple and classy, black matte finish so it doesn't turn yellow or collect lint from your pocket.

I had a slim dark blue matte gel cover to go with the phone, but then I found this, which is the best I've found.

i bought myself a front-and-back foil for the honor 8 and to protect it i got this metal-frame: http://amzn.to/2wBipeh
imo i dont lose any design and a dont waste free space in my pocket.
Browse Ruilean cases. They always serve good ones.
I just got this - I had a slim blue tpu get one, and I had the leather effect one i posted previously, but this is slim, very good fit, very nice feel.
