Suggest me a cool back cover/bumper - Honor 8 Accessories

Hey guys
It's been quite a long time I'm having honor 8. All this i have used the same silicon case, which is weird and dirty now. I really hate it now. In Saudi it's quite hard to get any honor accessories. And on the internet we just see small reviews from the buyers(useless).
So, I'm asking you to suggest me a cool case/bumper and if you already have one of yours, then please upload a picture of it.(full screen covering tempred glass too, if you have). I would really love to see.
??

I bought this a few months ago for $0.99, and it really doesn't get better than this. Simple and classy, black matte finish so it doesn't turn yellow or collect lint from your pocket.

Yeah, it's classic. Would you mind to uploading a picture of your phone with it?

I had a slim dark blue matte gel cover to go with the phone, but then I found this, which is the best I've found.

i bought myself a front-and-back foil for the honor 8 and to protect it i got this metal-frame: http://amzn.to/2wBipeh
imo i dont lose any design and a dont waste free space in my pocket.

Browse Ruilean cases. They always serve good ones.

I just got this - I had a slim blue tpu get one, and I had the leather effect one i posted previously, but this is slim, very good fit, very nice feel.

spigen should be ur choice

Spigen Rugged Armor is pretty good. That is what I use.

The Luphie bumper case goes really well.

Ok

I use the Spigen Rugged Armor case. Works well, but blocks one of the speaker holes. This doesn't matter to me as I never use the speakers anyway.

I ordered a Luphie bumper case to go with dbrand. I can post pictures when i get it

Sorry for bad English.
They should at least publish a picture with that Case actually mounted on the P500....I would like to see that before buying.
I wouldn't put a hard plastic case on ANY of my devices, even if you pay me too
Get a TPU one instead
stupid question: whats a TPU?
TPU is a kind of a plastic. TPU stands for Thermoplastic Polyurethane. Its useful for its transparency and elasticity. Its also scratch resistant to a level. Hence can be utilised for making mobile phone cases.

Are most people using a case for the P500? I think I like it without, but haven't tried a case yet. I like how easy I can slip it into my pants pocket and the back is grippy enough and doesn't really show marks as it is.
I am using the amzer black silicon case, its nice
silicon or tpu?

I would go with TPU because I had bad experiences with the silicone case that I first bought (wasn't from that company). I think TPU has better protection and is easier to slip into your pocket that's why I would pick TPU.
I have the white TPU clear case from ebay. Initially I always had it on the phone but I find that it adds unnecessary weight and bulkiness to the phone. I've had the case off for about a month now and I find it more usable compared to before, probably cos I was always worried it would get scratched.
I ordered the one in the OP and it should be coming in today or tomorrow, I'll take pics, upload them along with my thoughts.
Im not sure if its just mine but the case did not fit well, almost as if the phone was too big for the case. the parts of the case that were supposed to snap together did not make contact. oh well, will have to try a TPU case next.
TPU
Does lint and dust stick to TPU easily? That's one thing I hate about rubber cases.

Ultra Thin 0.3mm Soft Case

Has anyone found an ultra slim soft semi-transparent case for the 6p? something like 0.3mm or 0.5mm like this:
ORZLY - "FlexiSlim"
or
SHUMURI - "Slim"
or
CAUDABE - "Veil XT"
or
PEEL - "Case"
I would post a link to all those examples but I cant post links yet.
All these have a soft matte finish with all around coverage (hate the ones that are cut out at the bottom and top) and a semi transparent finish that I think would look great. They would still show off the back of the 6p without fully covering it. Any help finding something like this?
I think a smoke case similar like the ones above would look great with the graphite 6p and a tempered glass screen protector. Almost fully naked 6p but with some protection.
Uhh, nope. Haven't seen anything that thin with out it being hard PC. These are soft TPU, but no clue on thickness.

Thanks for those suggestions, had already looked at all those. Don't exactly fit the bill of what I'm looking for. Look fairly thick. Since Orzly made a 0.5mm case for last year's nexus 6, hopefully they make one for the 6p.

That one looks good except that it has the top and bottom open. Hate that. It digs into your fingers when holding it and resting the bottom of the phone on your pinky when using it.
Still searching for something like Veil XT or Peel
Any luck finding anything?
I had the Peel on my iphone and it was absolutely slick but I doubt peel or caudabe will make one for the nex :/
Just got to wait for the flexislim i guess, which will probably be the next best thing...if they do decide to make one of course
Yeah I'm also looking for something like this, but it seems out of the 4 brands mentioned in the OP, only the Orzly has any chance of being available in the future. The other 3 only make Apple cases.
Contacted Orzly yesterday. Looks like we're not getting the flexislim

Oh! So close. Would there be one that does have the sensor cutout? I'm looking for one of these hard cases that cover the bump glass (unlike the Spigen one) and if they're translucent, I want matte.

Solutions to slippery Mi4C

Not sure if others concur, but I find the phone very slippery due to the smooth plastic back cover (referring to white version here, though not sure if colour makes a difference).
Other than installing a 'bumper' style cover that makes the phone much larger (and noticeably heavier), what solutions do you suggest?
Can the back cover be replaced with a Nexus 5 style back cover (if available)? Or are there thin stickers that can instill more grip (e.g. sandpaper finish)?
I got the darker version and yeah, the back is kinda slippery. I also looked for backstickers, like what slickwraps and dbrand are offering, but I didn't find anything.
Today I ordered the official xiaomi plastic cases and I'm curious how thick it will make the Mi4C. Maybe still thin enough that I'll keep it...
I have to admit, I am happy I ordered a case with the phone, in my situation, the Nillkin Frosted Shield. Big improvement, but if dbrand had something, I would be happy!

Yea no problem, I ordered one from China but its still not here so ordered this so should be here next week
I did he same as TheNacho. I bought a Nillkin Frosted Shield and I really like it. In my opinion the case is very thin and gives it a good grip, it also feels like a good quality case with perfect fit.
It do also give a small small edge around the screen, which covers the screen a little bit if you put the phone down with the screen downwards (or if you drop it)

I've already forgotten the hardcover Yeah, I had both. The hardcover began pretty fast to crack at the corners (because of the pressure?).
The TPU was a bit more stable, but it began to crack near the headphone jack after a while.
@rob rich got it today (came in 3 days) and its bulkier than the image on ebay. The back is not completely transparent like the rest of the case but a foggish white. But I can grip it easily and thats good for me.
Ok, I'm searching for something really really slim
I'm not afraid of let it fall (never happens to me) but I'm afraid of scratches on the back and on camera lens without case...
I'm sure there are some cool cases in China, so i would be happy if someone could point me in the right direction.

Non-Flip leather backed case for 6P

I've scoured the threads here, and the internet at large and haven't come across a leather backed open face case for the 6p. I am aware of the custom workaround at the moment of using a dbrand or slickwraps leather on a slim spigen or dztronic case but am wondering if there are any, or any eta's on an open faced, leather backed case. Distressed leather preferably.
Pierre Cardin makes them for the note 5 but not for the 6p which i found disappointing. I thought it might be because of the unique camera array on the back, but the folio cases manage to do it, so that can't be the issue.
Look forward to you your replies
cheers,
Pierre Cardin for note 5 example
have you looked into tetded?

Or you could try a skin on a case. Something like this. Not real leather, I know, but some of them do look decent. I used the Spigen Rugged armor and d-brand. I've heard of others using Diztronic and the Spigen thin fit.

Slickwraps actually makes leather skins for the 6P; it's called their "Natural" series and they use Horween leather (same material as found on the Moto X and LG G4). It doesn't offer visor coverage like the vinyl skins do, but if you're looking for real leather this is probably your best bet.
I'd also suggest petitioning @LAURCORE (Toastmade) to research designing leather skins, too, as they had done for the Nexus 6.

Is the case very soft to the touch? I got a Tetded case, and the leather is stretched so tight that it almost feels plasticky. This case looks amazing though. And I only see an option for black. How did you get brown?

UAG Case + Mate 9 black

Hey all! I am almost ready to buy the Mate 9 and I was would like to know if anyone has it in black color along with the UAG case.
Design-wise, the case itself seems to be a little over the top for my taste but since it's semi-transparent I was wondering if the black color of the phone tones it down a bit.
Any feedback is welcome (maybe along with some photos if anyone actually has the combination? )!

I have read mixed reviews about the Spigen case, some say it's great, others that it's flimsy. What's really weird though is the fact that there is no case for the Mate 9 on the official Spigen site! I think I will go with the UAG case, it's a big and quite expensive phone to risk dropping it...

On the UAG, it's much higher which makes it much more protected than the Spigen. The Spigen also has a lip but not as high. Still good though. I do notice the Spigen has a lot more room for the screen protector edges than the UAG one which gets a lot closer.

You mentioned the screen protector and I was going to ask you about your personal preference. From what I read in other threads, there are 3 main products that people use and are generally satisfied:
1) Brotect Airglass
2) Supershieldz Tempered Glass
3) Nillkin Tempered Glass
Any other suggestion?

Actually, I wish I knew too. I still have the original screen protector on when I got my Mate 9. I've wanted to move to Tempered Glass but never knew which one to get. If u do find one, keep me posted too
I recommend that one.I am really satisfied with that one.

Well, since I am probably going with the UAG which has more protection, I will first check the Brotect Airglass which is thinner (and hopefully less likely to peel along the UAG case?). If I decide to go with Spigen or Ringke (I like the Ink Black), I will problably check the Tempered Glass options.

It does look stealthy and I really like that they went with 3 cutouts on the back rather than 1 big one.
You mentioned the screen protector and I was going to ask you about your personal preference. From what I read in other threads, there are 3 main products that people use and are generally satisfied:
1) Brotect Airglass
2) Supershieldz Tempered Glass
3) Nillkin Tempered Glass
Any other suggestion?

The pzoz screen protectors are pretty good as well. Cheap to at about 3 bucks a piece.
