Are you saying that the device doesn't boot into the bootloader?
Try holding down the voldown button and hitting the reset button. What happens exactly? What happened when you tried to do a hard reset? Are you using a stock ROM or a custom ROM?
Yes, that's what I am saying the device doesn't boot into the bootloader. I did
try holding down the vol down button and hitting the reset button as adviced. Nothing happens no screen no info. The screen does not turn on at all not even in the bootloader menu. When I tried to do a hard reset still nothing happens either. I have never used any of these stock ROM or a custom ROM yet. What do you recommend me. Since I have no idea what to do and I feel lost. Thanks for all of your help.

If you haven't changed the ROM at all and are still on the stock settings, just call up the carrier and have it repaired/replaced under the warranty.
I have done anything on it. That's what I have to do I guess. Thanks for your time an patience.

Hi Lads,
My HTC touch diamond is doing strange, one day I woke up and suddenly it gave me a Red,Green,Blue,White screen. As I understood it's called bootlloader or something like that.
I tried reset+volumebutton after that it is starting normal and Ive got my phone back, but if I turn my phone back off its gaving me the terrible Red, Green, Blue, White screen back.
Ive tried to do a hard reset ( reset button + volume + round button) but then I have to press the volume button again to accept, but it isnt doing anything then.
Ive looked for some solutions but everything is chinese for me.
I just want my phone back to normal and I hope I dont have to loose all my files.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks anyway lads
Well, if possible, Backup all of your Data using either SPB Backup or Microsoft MyPhone, and reflash a new ROM.
This is what most users will tell you to do.
I think once a device encounters the Bootloader Infinite Loop issue, the only solution is to Flash a New ROM.
and how can I do that ? I am really a dummie at this point.
But it still works only if I put it back on I see the bootloader again.

..better post in the diamond thread. I am sure you will get help!
Maybe HardSLP?
Any update on your progress?
Curious as to whether or not you got the issue fixed.
[If you can get into the Bootloader, you can Re-Flash your device.. just keep it plugged into your computer when you restart your device.]

help!!!!! my htc one s screen works but won't respond to touch
nothing that i can think of has happened to damaged the device it turns on but then i am stuck on the ring lock screen when i turn the volume up and down it show up on the screen. i tried a factory reset to no avail. anyone have the same problem or know what wrong? do i need a new screen. any advice on what i can do would be much appreciated
> also if i press the power button and tap the home button it sound like its taking a picture???
Is the phone rooted? Power + Home takes a screenshot. It might be that your digitizer has spontaneously failed. May want to take it in for warranty repair.
I'd try another kernel. If you are not rooted, well, you gotta do it (or contact HTC so they fix/replace your phone). If you already have a custom kernel, chances are that it is because of that.
Does your phone have a custom recovery? If your bootloader is unlocked you can try flashing a custom recovery like TWRP that has touch capability. If the touch screen doesnt work in recovery either, then your almost guaranteed its a hardware issue.

Hey guys,
Had the phone for a couple of months. However for the past few weeks my 4n (HTC DESIRE S) turning itself off when the Battery is fine. Then i switch on it's not working. if i want to switch on i should put the charging cable and then switch on. then it's ok. specially using internet, play games, using camera....
Has anyone experienced this problem? Can anyone tell me what the cause of the problem is and how it can be fixed?
what the state of your phone bootloader..?, is that already unlocked / s-off and had installing custom rom or stock..?
if your phone still in stock..to make sure the problem come from hw or sw is you can try factory reset from bootloader..just go to bootloader with pressing vol down+power then select factory reset..
if your phone is already unlocked / s-off...then try installing different rom..
and don't forget to try using different battery too..
hope this help..

you're welcome..
just to make sure is..the battery..maybe you can try it first just borrow it from your friend or just test it first before you buy it..
because if you already test it with different battery but the problem is still the same...then maybe the problem is come from hw of the IC power of the phone it self..
hope this help..
Hello. It's a known problem on our device. Just put a piece of paper between the battery and the cover that pushes againts the battery towards the contacts. The battery needs to be pushed harder towards the contacts.

Hey guys, I recently found my tf300t tucked away somewhere. Haven't used it for absolute months! And I remembered why, I kept having problems with CM somehow(I believe the last update was somewhere in June-July of 2013), so this time after charging it and wanting to do it all again, I figured I'd get it updated. Seeing as it's been nearly a year and so much crap has changed, I figured something was going to go wrong. Before I even DID ANYTHING, I told the tablet to reboot into recovery mode, and boom that's where I'm stuck. The Tablet rebooted and now only shows the Asus boot screen... Nothing else! Vol down+pwr didn't work, nothing. And If I hold the power button it shuts off but then turns right back on 1-2 seconds later. I'm not sure what this is, a soft brick? a Brick? just an error? Can anybody please help? I know this is probably the wrong section, but I'm just frustrated.
Thank you to anybody who can help in any shape or form.
PS: no bashing is needed, my tables already bashing my head for me.

Does it respond to being plugged into a computer? Try pressing the reset button and then doing the vol down to get into fastboot.

Nope, but I am running W8 and I read that W8 kinda sucks for this sort of thing. Like you need W7 or XP? Correct me if im wrong. Any other ideas? . I didn't do anything! Just told it to reboot into recovery, and now I'm stuck there. I held pwr+volume down and it still keeps stuck, and if I try to power it off then it just turns on again a few seconds later.

??
So none of you can get to fastboot or recovery, but you do all get the stuck at Asus logo?? All your bootloaders are unlocked?? All of you got to this spot, the same way by not using the tablet for long periods of time???? What bootloader are you on?? What version of CM are you running??? What is the OS of your PC, If its not the top 3 please be specific......Are you using a stock asus data cable??
Sounds similar
From what your posts say, it sounds like something i came across. I struggled for hours trying to figure out this dilemma, but if you're in the same situation i was in then as long as you're in that screen even after trying to hold the power and -vol let it sit there, plug in and make sure you have all your files associated with fastboot platform installed and try pushing the new TWRP ( http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407569892 ) to your tablet, for some reason after a certain update after 4.1 i believe? CWM stopped working for me, so try pushing the new TWRP from that link there and possibly you should be able to gain control of your tablet again and start installing the new packets for CM 11. I found this to be very helpful http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2570965 and thanks to "cmendonc2", 6 post down, he really cleared things up with his simple links. Hope you're in the same boat as i was. Good luck
Hi.
This phone was working perfectly and I left it to go away to another country so it must have discharged it's battery.
When I got back it would not turn on. Even after charging for a day, it will not turn on.
When I have the charging cable connected, it goes to Google Logo Screen and it loops (restarts over and over again)
There is no error message.
Picture is attached so please let me know what to do. It was a gift so no receipt to claim warranty.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Try booting into stock recovery and clearing cache, reboot.
If that doesn't work then you'll have to unlock the bootloader (which wipes data) and try flashing the factory images. A guide for that can be found in the first link of my signature.

I just tested and I am not able to get into recovery more...I am not sure what that mean. Should I connect Nexus to computer and see if it's recognized by computer and try to reload stock ROM?
Phone was never unlocked or flashed...it was in the same state as it was bought.
Can this be hardware problem? I saw some reports of similar thing happening with power button problem or other hardware problems.

did you go into the bootloader, choose recovery, and it went to an android laying on its back?
This is the weirdest things...Spent days and days trying to bring it back to life and it would just reboot after GOOGLE logo. There was no way to get into recovery more.
I was looking around and someone said that tapping hard behind the power button with finger might bring it back and it did...so crazy. No matter what, I am a happy camper.
If you have tried everything, just try it...it behind power button and it might wake up the android that's been sleeping.

Can u explain how did u do that .what do u mean by behind the power button
I have the option to buy this device from a guy who has this problem and i have said to him to try the tips but not working. Computer does not see the device yet and thats logic since it just goes for 2-3 sec in bootloader he told me. Is this the power buttion failure or can it be fixed with nexus toolkit?
Price is €50 because of that and little damaged glass but i doubt if i can let it boot normal again.
