Hard reset

Can anyone tell me how to do a hard reset with the buttons on the phone Phone comes on an gets stuck tried soft reset with the button on the bottom of phone but it did nothing please help

how to hard reset LG KS20 ?

Hi !
my phone hangs sometimes after 10-20 minutes of working.
I want to hard reset it. (i did contacts backup etc.) i want a clean phone.
I'm turning phone off and:
holding volume down+call+power ...but phone just turned on.
holding volume down+hang+power ...but phone turned on too.
Are there other combinations to do hard reset on LG KS20 ?

You can hard reset your phone using only software buttons.
Just press Start - Settings - System - Clear Storage.-

i've tried to make a hard reset
phone is off. i'm pressing volume- and call then i'm clicking power - phone is on - LG logo appears, then orange logo is visible, i'm still holding volume- and call
after 10s LED blinks (three colours) - i'm releasing keys, then WM logo appears and phone starts.
but there is no hard reset, there are still additional programs and my messages.

there is no Clear Storage under Start - Settings - System.

HTC HD2 not working

Hi,
I turned off my phone yesterday and then when I tried to turn it on again it got stuck at the white screen that appears at first - it shows the HTC logo and the information about the software in red letters. I waited for a few minutes but nothing happened, then I reset it from the button under the back cover and still the same thing happened - it stuck at the same point. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks so much in advance!

Sounds strange, i would try to do a hard reset, but you´ll lose all your data on the device if you do this!
Any other ideas?

To hard reset your phone which means to delete ALL personal data and settings and have the phone in factory default conditions as if you turned on the phone for the first time after purchasing, press the following buttons:
1. With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly press the POWER button.
2. Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see this message on the screen:
"This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to the manufacturer default settings. Press VolUp to restore manufacturer defaults, or press other keys to cancel."
3. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
You can also use Clear Storage to reset your device back to factory default settings.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap All Settings.
2. On the System tab, tap Clear Storage.
3. Enter “1234” and then tap Yes.

If you have HSPL applied, you could be able to use MTTY method and upload new ROM.

Mtty tool recovery is nothing to mess with, it is a last resort. If you don't know what you are doing, you can easily kill your phone.
Do a hard reset, if that doesn't work, ( I anm assuming that since this is your first post, you do not have a custom rom ) find a copy of your rom and re flash it. But try severral hart resets first.

hard reset or soft reset?
Soft reset: 1. turn off your phone.
2. remove battery for a few seconds then put it back in again.
3. turn it on again.
Hard reset: 1. turn off your phone.
2. PRESS AND HOLD the center of the directional keypad (OK button).
3. press the power button. do not release the OK button.
4. Unit will ask you if you want to reset. press yes.

Hard reset: 1. turn off your phone.

just go to settings and then security thene you should find something about hard reseting or soft reset

I can not launch the Touch Flo 3D it say to Tap the window but it does not launch. Does some type of reset need to be performed? If so what is the correct procedure?

Did you do anything before it got to this stage such as install a new app or theme ?
If you did then try one of the threads listed here http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&safe...S3Dg&sqi=2&ved=0CCEQrQIwAA&fp=fb65bc885a9abf7
If you didn't do anything and it just won't start then try a soft reboot (take off the battery cover and there is a red reset button under the stylus)
As a last resort and i mean last as this will lose anything that you haven't backed up including contacts stored to phone , programs installed to phone and messages etc you can do a hard reset.
Before doing a hard reset i strongly recommend you have a look around the forum and see if you can find a backup utility that will back everything up to your pc and will save you time and having to lose everything.(can't recommend one to use as i really don't have all that much to backup on mine so have never bothered)
To do a hard reset

2. Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see a message on the screen telling you all data will be lost.
3. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
A hard reset will restore all factory settings but please note this will remove anything that you have added to the ROM that is on there from programs to contacts and messages.
