Android Manager WiFi - Android Apps and Games

Anyone using using Android Manager Wifi? I'm trying to find out where it puts the files on my PC... I can't seem to find them anywhere...
Edit: Found my pictures.. not sure why they hide them so deep...
C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\Mobile Action\Android Manager\Album\[FFF030].[A]

ya this app is really good
was hoping for a usb version to make it run faster lol

I have noffice 2010 with outlook 2010 and this is the only all that will sync my evo to my computer. Really glad I can now sync my contacts,].

What about recurring events?
Anybody know if recurring events are an issue on this software?
I tried the Google calendar sync in the past and it didn't work with my recurring events.

ATT Fuze wont sync outlook calender (vista)

i have alot of stuff in outlook calender I want to put on my phone. For whatever reason it wont sync to my phone..just contacts.
it is checked to sync calender in WMDC
is it your DEFAULT calendar in outlook... People have created multiple calendars and deleted or moved to original one away.
In the calendar sync settings make sure you have it set to "All" or "2 Weeks" or however long you want it to sync for.

http://oggsync.com/index.php/upgrade-to-pro/
i use gmail so this works great. d/l a small program on the desktop then on the mobile phone. set it up and your good. It from sync's from pc to gmail..then from gmail to phone. also does contacts in the pro version. pro version is crackable..do a search. maybe ppcwarez might have it.

Android and Syncing...

My wife and I are swtiching to Android devices (EVO me, Hero or Moment for her), I wanted to setup the sync as follows for the calendar. I am not to worried about the email as she can just do POP for now.
We both use Outlook on our computers setup like this:
She is just connecting to POP mail
Mine is my company mail (via the DAMO LotusNotes Connect)
Both view shared google calendar in outlook
I don't have a clue how to setup the sync, what I would like is:
I would have to sync my work calendar via wire (HTC Sync) or LN Traveler for OTA (they already added me to the server)
I could sync the Google shared calendar OTA
She could sync the Google calendar OTA
The part I want to make sure of is I was trying this with my windows mobile phone and I could wire sync my work calendar and see google calendar in outlook. But as soon as I added to sync to the Google Calendar OTA via ActiveSync, it pushed all my work appointments up to the google calendar. I wanted to keep the google calendar just the family stuff (you know running the kids around)...
Thanks for any and all help, It was pretty easy when it was just me, adding her to the mix will make things better in the long run, just have to figure out how to do it!
I've got a Hero which can sync with Google and with my office calendar/email which runs on MS Exchange. The phone successfully keeps them entirely separate. I can change one or the other, sync OTA, and the each calendar continues to contain only the appointments it's meant to. I realise you aren't going to be using MS Exchange, but if Sense (HTC's customised version of Android) knows how to keep Google and Exchange calendars separate, it should be able to do the same for anything else. Furthermore, it knew how to have a separate 'Outlook' calendar when I tried syncing via USB and ActiveSync. I didn't experiment much with that as I stopped using it as soon as I got OTA syncing to work with the Exchange server, but it considering that it recognised it as a separate calendar in its list, it should still do what you want.
Another option for you may be to completely swap away from Outlook and use Thunderbird. That knows how to sync to Google calendars and address book, but I don't know if your DAMO LotusNotes Connect system will work with it. Both these features are done with plugins, so it's possible that there's also a plugin for your work's system. Thunderbird also handles IMAP messaging better than Outlook; at least, better than Outlook 2003 did. I mention IMAP because your wife will have to stop using POP if she wants to be able to read her emails both on her computer and on her phone - POP isn't designed to have multiple computers accessing the same email account. It wants to download emails off the server and delete the remote copy; you can make it just download them, but I don't think it would then know to mark them as read or unread.
Thanks, sounds like I will have to do some playing.. We are using Outlook 2010 and it is the best update for some time. I have my kids and mother-in-law on Thunderbird, just not us.
You can setup Pop to leave messages for X days unless deleted, this is how I have been running for my one pop account, it works fine but yes you get some dups, not a big deal.
I have thought for some time about making my linux server my mail server as well, heck, I think I could link that to whatever accounts I desire then have it do the push mail, that would be an interesting setup...
Again, thanks, sounds like we have some playing but it should work fine.

Thanks in advance...

Sync to outlook

Hi guys,
I just bought Samsung i5700. Has android 2.1. I use win 7, KIES and I can't sync my contacts and my calendar. For contacts only syncs 1080 contacts and in calendar none.
For me also interesting would be installing WinMobile 6.5 on this phone ... it's more easier solving.
Can i get an app or something to solve this?
Thanks
The most promising thing I know of is Android-Sync. It works similar to HTC sync. There's a desktop app and a phone side app. When you plug in the phone, it syncs.
It's pre-alpha right now, but it will sync contacts and single calendar entries. Recurring appointments are not yet supported. I'm waiting for that to be added and then I should be able to use it.
http://www.android-sync.com/
I have been using gSyncit ($14.99) from www.daveswebsite.com.
It syncs Outlook's contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes to/from Gmail. Notes have to free from special characters in order to sync (Google problem).
I've been using Google Calendar Sync. It requires a gmail account and had some trouble syncing older recurring appointments. but for the most part it works.
I use a program called "Go Contact Sync" for contacts... I have one contact that ir refuses to sync but it does alright for me besides that.
Both are free.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions. I would not like to share my details with Google or gmail.
The sync works super, but it would not put more than 1080 contacts . Also, in calendar widget it would show me not today's event about to come, but events for the next days. Quite tricky .
Would be nice to finalize this android app ... would work nice, not like that stupid Samsung software
Regards

wow the holy grail. Sync via USB and none of that cloud stuff.

HTC Sync with Galaxy S?

Can HTC Sync app that syncs Outlook with Android can it be used with Galaxy S phone?
I'm looking for option to sync with outlook that DOES NOT require me to upload my data to google.
Kies doesn't require you to use the cloud to sync your PIM data
You may want to do a search for and check out "Android Manager". This is what I use over Wi-Fi for Outlook sync. I like it better than Kies myself.
anyone else tried Android Manager?
I also use android manager You can sync Contacts , Calender , Images, Videos or any other folder you choose.
Application is quite stable (I personally find it much more stable than MyPhoneExplorer).
best part its free.

The full Kies does not work with Captivate and Kies Mini has limited functionality.
I use MyPhoneExplorer to sync my outlook data. It has a PC program where you can edit/add/delete contacts and when you connect the phone to the PC it starts the companion app on the phone to make the transfer. No Google cloud needed and haven't had any stability issues with it.
Out of curiosity, I installed Android Manager on my PC. Unlike MyPhoneExplorer, it does not interface directly with Outlook. I'm unsure of how you even get your Outlook data into the program as the only import format it appears to support is .pbf, which is not a format Outlook can export to. If either of you guys have a way to do this, please post it. Thanks.
EDIT: OK, I played around with it some more and got it figured out. I am now an Android Manager user. Much easier to use than MyPhoneExplorer once you get it setup properly and I like not having to use a cord to sync. I wonder why this great app never shows up on lists of ways to sync Outlook with Android? First I heard of it was in this thread and I looked a lot when I first got the phone. Thanks for the tip.

Outlook / Andriod Calendar & Contact Sync!!

Wanted to share a recent discovery for syncing Andriod and Outlook (I am using 2007). Up until now I have been very disappointed in the various sync options for someone like me who is on a corporate network using Outlook and who has an IT group that does NOT allow syncing via cloud for any software that uses MSExchange server Active Sync, like RoadSync and TouchDown.
I have been using HTCSync which is not too, too bad, the big issue is that it messes up my phone #s like my (919) 123-4567 989 (this is the extension) after syncing with HTC was changed be to (919)123-4567989. I also had issues with syncing some Outlook appointments, especially recurring and also issues when a co-worker deleted an recurring appointment, it would not always allow me to delete this from my calendar. Bottom line...lots of weird stuff using HTCSync, but until now the only real USB sync option.
Add to this, I do prefer a USB sync option, yep USB and MOSTLY doing so w/o having to load a special software on my Andriod phone like Markspace or The Missing Sync or Companion Link require. I only want to use the integrated Andriod calendar and contacts programs NOT something special.
With all of the background, I strongly encourage anyone with similar needs, especially a USB sync option, please check out Andriod-Sync at this link
http://www.android-sync.com/
Amazingly, the cost is $0.00.
Also, if you want to see the various sync options check out this link

Hope this is helpful for the XDA corporate guys that use Outlook, came from WM6.5 to Andriod 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and have been looking for a good USB and non IT controlled sync option.

It is syncing....will keep you posted when done
Thank you!!!!!!!! This should be a sticky!!!
Awesome app, thanks for the link
Thanks
I too have been struggling for MONTHS trying to find solutions to the Outlook/Android sync or the Thunderbird/Lightning and Android sync issues.
My biggest struggle is actually the task manager. I use Outlook Tasks, interconnected with events, contacts and emails extensively to track major projects, etc. I still can't find a reasonable and truly functional option.
If anyone out there finds something...let us know!!!
Sent from my LT15i using XDA App
I'll try that app.
I have a AT&T Fuze (Winmobile 6.5/Energy) that I use with MS Mobile Device Center as a bridge between Outlook on my MS Exchange Server at Work and Outlook 2007 on my Windows 7 laptop & desktop at home. The system works like a top. Lately the display seems a little small however. I've been looking at an HTC Thunderbolt (Android) with the HTC sync application and several after market sync applications. Windows Phone 7 is off the table because of a decision by Microsoft not to sync with it's own product, Outlook. Is there an Android app that is a clone or better of Windows Mobile Device Center? Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks
As for a clone to windows device thinga ma bob?
Check out
My Phone Explorer for Android. Google it.
I have not tried to sync using this other than for pictures.
Re Android vs. WIN7?
I switched from a Pure Energy ROM to my At&T Aria, and now a HTC Desire Z with Android GB 2.3.3, never thought I would like Android like I do, bit man oh man, way nicer than WinMo.
Thanks for your help!
MyPhoneExplorer Android is working fine with my SGS2. I used it yesterday to sync my iPhone data to my new Galaxy 2.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
it's no longer free. the trial version allows 20 contacts to sync. if you want the full version it is $20.
Hi -- I am looking for a one-way sync, Outlook 2010 x86 to Android. Do Android-Sync and MyPhoneExplorer support this?
I'm trying "local sync" from http://www.psencik.cz/local-sync.
Another option for me.
Omg! Thank you!
I got depressed thinking I was going to need to return my new Samsung Epic. If this works I think that everyone on the google platform that uses direct sync should crown you king of awesome!

Denied, I get some ADB error and following the instructions they provide did nada, shame the site is even less helpful than the app itse;f as far as resolving. Maybe my Epic has some sort of hate towards me using outlook...sigh...I need my outlook sync, all I want is calendar and contacts. that's it, I got email already...
