ATT Fuze wont sync outlook calender (vista) - Touch Pro, Fuze General

i have alot of stuff in outlook calender I want to put on my phone. For whatever reason it wont sync to my phone..just contacts.
it is checked to sync calender in WMDC

is it your DEFAULT calendar in outlook... People have created multiple calendars and deleted or moved to original one away.

In the calendar sync settings make sure you have it set to "All" or "2 Weeks" or however long you want it to sync for.

Not all outlook contacts syncing

Hi all. I hope someone out there can help me. I am having a big headache with outlook at the moment. I am using a T-mobile touch plus with Outlook 2007 since Febuary and have had no problems with the device syncing using Activesync. Within the last week I plugged my touch in and Active sync said that I need to resync all contacts, I have no idea why, and when it synced it left out almost half the contacts. I have looked through all the contacts that didn't sync and can not see any pattern in why they haven't synced and other have. I don't think that I have changed anything on the phone, outlook or activesync. The contacts still exist in outlook. Activesync 4.5 has no settings for contacts to choose what to sync. I have tried to play with the catorgries to see if that made any difference. All the contacts are in the same contact folder as I only have one personal folder. I can not figure it out, and would love some help as I have lost all the usefull contacts on my phone. Please help!!! Cheers in advanced

Windows contacts

Hey there,
I'd like to refresh my contact list. I'd like to use Windows Contacts or Windows Live to sync them with my Mails (what would be included in Live) and my phone. I can add contacts in Windows Live, but I cannot add a picture to them But I can't add new contacts in Windows Contacts... Normally, there should be a button to add a new contact, but even if I press right click -> new -> contact I cannot ad another one. What did I do wrong?
Another problem is that I cannot get the contacts from my phone to my computer. How can I do that?
I do not use Microsof Outlook, so this solution is unfortunateley not the right fo me.
Bye,
Chris
don't believe that activesync or vistas sync support anything but outlook
I would try to google alternativ sync programs to solve this if I were you
you may have to buy the sync program though
Think the Seven Beta program does sync of contacts with Windows Live. I know it is primarily and email delivery prog but as far as i can recall it also does sync betwee Windows live and your phone. Think it also does Google as well. I have never needed it for that as mine is all managed OTA with an Exchange server.

Sync to outlook

Hi guys,
I just bought Samsung i5700. Has android 2.1. I use win 7, KIES and I can't sync my contacts and my calendar. For contacts only syncs 1080 contacts and in calendar none.
For me also interesting would be installing WinMobile 6.5 on this phone ... it's more easier solving.
Can i get an app or something to solve this?
Thanks
The most promising thing I know of is Android-Sync. It works similar to HTC sync. There's a desktop app and a phone side app. When you plug in the phone, it syncs.
It's pre-alpha right now, but it will sync contacts and single calendar entries. Recurring appointments are not yet supported. I'm waiting for that to be added and then I should be able to use it.

I have been using gSyncit ($14.99) from www.daveswebsite.com.
It syncs Outlook's contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes to/from Gmail. Notes have to free from special characters in order to sync (Google problem).
I've been using Google Calendar Sync. It requires a gmail account and had some trouble syncing older recurring appointments. but for the most part it works.
I use a program called "Go Contact Sync" for contacts... I have one contact that ir refuses to sync but it does alright for me besides that.
Both are free.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions. I would not like to share my details with Google or gmail.
The sync works super, but it would not put more than 1080 contacts . Also, in calendar widget it would show me not today's event about to come, but events for the next days. Quite tricky .
Would be nice to finalize this android app ... would work nice, not like that stupid Samsung software
Regards

Froyo missing HTC Sync

Is there any solution to get synced with outlook/windows calendar and contact?
The focus is on google applications, so if you search for ways to sync them with google calendar etc it will sync that way.

Yes I understand even if, IMHO, they can't loose integration with M$ systems...
However I used google calendar sometimes ago trying to keep synced blackberry, nokia and outlook... it made me a lot of confusion because it duplicates calendar appointments and gave me also other problems...
Now I can give it a try again.
But, what to do to sync contacts?
I found Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook.
I'll give it a try..
If you have any other suggestion you're welcome

I tried.. it requires Google Apps Premier version.. unusable due to 40€/year subscription needed!!
So I need to find another way again.

try this: http://www.android-sync.com/
It works a lot like htc sync. It does contacts and single calendar entries. they're still working on recurring calendar events.
I'm still looking for a fully working solution.
I tried android-sync but I can't get it working. App hangs during sync and I can't have feedback about sync status.
Actually I can't believe there is no official way to get my device synced with my PC... how anyone can use the phone without contacts and calendars????
Do you think this is why froyo is not an official release?
I use gsyncit http://www.daveswebsite.com/software/gsync/ to sync outlook contacts and calendars with gmail then phone obviously syncs with the gmail server. Gsyncit works very well and is very customisable. At $15 one off cost it's a bargain in my book. (prob the first software I've actually bought)

How do you synch to Outlook?

How do you synch Calender and Contacts on the Skyrocket to Outlook on your PC? Coming from WM and then the Inspire it was really easy, but now I have no clue. I searched and found Deja Office and Companion Link to synch to Outlook, but it's unreliable at best. Please help! Thanks! While we're at it, is there any way to synch web Bookmarks?
Very easy. Download newest version of kies from Samsung site. Google it.
I did that, but no calender synch on it. Is there a version I'm missing?
I have some pretty good luck with myphonexplorer. It synced up my outlook contacts pretty well, two-way and all and free.
However, it has to be manually done. So I gave up and jumped on the Google bandwagon and went with their cloud setup. So now, my contacts and calendar are synced up perfectly. I have a separate sync process for files, notes e.g with Sugarsync.

Of course there is a calendar sync. What version of Kies did you download? You should be using Kies_2.1.0.11095_121_6.
I figured out how to synch calender in KIES. You have to click on the device after it's connected. Then the Synch menu will be available. Options for Synch are not visible unless your device is connected, and then only after you click on the device itself. The tree under the device includes contacts, but not calender. It wasn't obvious, at least to me, that I should click on the device itself. Weird. Having said that, it seems to work pretty darn well for contacts and calender!
