There is a way to test out some of the paid apps. It's called "downloading the demo versions."
Once you buy an app you can try it and if you wish to, return it for a full refund within 24 hours. So that is exactly what you need.

Why is everyone so concerned about "obtaining" applications anyway? Everyone is happy enough to steal windows mobile and android OS's
Difficult to steal android as it's opensource...
And I wouldn't take Windows Mobile if it was free.
If someone is charging $.99 for an app they're not exactly going to be rolling in cash from it in the first place - if you start stealing the apps then they may just give up and not bother. Anyone can afford to take the risk of a couple of crap apps at those prices.. and if you really daren't risk a dollar then there are always reviews.

Because we don't like to be associated with thieves, maybe? It may be that bad, that there are be people reading this who has actually written those applications you are trying to "obtain".

Asking for Paid Apps For Free is confusing, especially when we have a strict no Warez Policy.
I know this is not about Warez but it could become about warez very quickly and some sharp users have pinted this out by reporting this thread.
It is therefore closed.
I bought my G-tab online Nov. 1 via PayPal, received the tablet, and assumed the transaction went through. I just checked and they never took the money! The transaction expired Friday and is listed as "Canceled" now.
Anyone ever experienced this? I kinda want to call them to see why they didn't take the money. But, I kinda don't wanna tempt fate and look a $398.99 gift horse in the mouth either! LOL!
Thoughts???
It may sound strange and ethical, but I would call them.
call me whatever you like but I would most definitely not call them.

Not that easily... if they called me about it that would be different, it was their mistake. call it karma for having such a piece of **** return policy... I'm going under the assumption that you bought it from sears online. if it was from an individual or something my morals might come into play

That's interesting considering you've probably intentionally voided your product warranty by making software mods using roms illegally ported from other devices. An probably side loade d hundreds of apks for which you didn't pay the developer and most likely skimmed from a wares or torrent site, or Applanet.net.
Sound like a huge case of situational ethics to me buddy. Pick a position. If you feel so much guilt about things, delete your xda account and keep it moving.
id let them know, personally. when you start taking an active role in karma, as another stated in this thread, then karma starts taking an active role in your life. ive had way too many run-ins with karma to tempt fate again.
but hey, thats just me.

that's actually not even a valid argument except for installing non-paid for apps.
What you do to a device you own is your choice. You can flash anything you want to it if you choose....as long as you don't expect a warranty replacement if you screw it up. If I want to flash my toaster oven with the firmware from my microwave......more power to me. But when my toaster oven no longer works, it's my fault not the manufacturers.
Now getting a toaster oven you didn't pay for is a totally different argument (the original poster's).
Sorry OP, but it's called theft of a material item. You knew that you didn't pay for it, but are keeping it anyways. Of course, many companies tack on extra charges for services and steal from consumers, so it's a gray area. I guess if you look at it from the standpoint of "business is business" then it's fair. Dunno what to say.
Thanks for the input. All is well. I'm returning the device & will let them figure out what to do. Anyone in the Richmond, VA area looking for a clearance item, check the Virginia Center Commons Sears location later this week.

It happened to me, I called to ask about my order being placed and available, shortly after I was charged. I had received my pickup email already, so I'm sure if I had picked up the order and said nothing, it would have not been charged.
In a perfect world, when you called to tell them about the error they should have said "we appreciate your honesty and we will not charge you because of it, consider this a gift". You win, and they win as you would be more likely to be a return customer.

so let me get this straight
100 people buy an app for $2.42x100=$242
and then finally one of us gets $100?
While you pocket the rest?
I am sorry but really??
Mhh i think you wont even get the 100$.. also i think its very easy to make with a vnc server and some windows makros.. or gamecih or whatever.

The game is one time purchase, and there will be 2 or 3 rounds... Depends how many people buy the game.
The calculation is almost right, except Google takes 30% out of each sale, so it will be 2.42 - 30%x100 = $170
Then I give the winner $100 bucks and I get $70... I think it's worth consider the time spent to develop this game.
And if it turns out to be more successful then just this, The prize will definitely go up, but for start, I think it's fare like this.
Best Regards,
Ivan

One thing I hate in life are those SPAM games or ads all over the web!
I am an honest man, and will send $100 dollars to the winner via email as soon as we get a winner!
There is a server security, so gamecih or other 3rd party software won't affect the numbers.
Thank you for your opinion on this westpak, I appreciate it!

No longer use your product, I bought your product to support MX development but your development is atrociously non-existent, been asking for speed control for years! DicePlayer had it, then VLC Beta had it, even BS Player now have it.
Please refund me money so that I can buy the full version BS player. You can keep the interest though.
Thank you kindly.

Wait for some time.

Sorry for late update.
You will be able to see this issue in near future.
Future when? 2018? You had 6 years to add this simple feature.
Please refund my money so that I can buy BSPlayer.
All sales are final on the Play Store; refunds are only within 3 hours or whatever the policy is on Google Play.
I doubt any retailer would refund anything after 30 days, let alone 6 years.
So what, if I buy the BSPlayer now, and you add speed function in god knows when. I'll end up with two apps with the same function.

Will the mobile manufacturer refund money if they don't release updates?
Does Microsoft refund's the money when it stops support?
People buys the product by comparing the current scenario & features. Sometime back MX was looking better to you. So you bought it. After sometime if MX has some advanced features, will BSPlayer refund the money?
Not only MX Player, none of the developers never promise for any feature when you buy.
Each and every user has their own set of requirements. It's fully deveoper's decision whether the feature has to be implemented or not?
He needs sometime to fulfill all requests. Please be patient till the major update...!!
Note:
I am not the developer & It's my own opinion.
It's purely developer's decision whether to refund or not.

As I read through you may not seem to understand the whole thing about development at all. Do you have a custom rom on your daddy-bought device? Have you realised that not everyone who makes an app or a rom is a full-time developer? Just randomly select 5 of them, and ask them whether it's just a hobby for them or not? You'll get probably 1 out of 5 saying it's his primary job for a living. Haven't you think about that they may have real life, with real problems, a real job (not like you, making us neurotic by talking rubbish about something you know nothing)?
Go buy BS on dads money, and leave this app alone if you don't like it. Seriously, just wow.

The developer has a full-time job, and does MX on the side. We should all be grateful that he is willing to spend his extra time creating such an excellent app, with performance that has few peers. Literally millions have benefited from downloading his free and paid app from the Play Store; just look at the app-download statistics on Google Play.
You are a consumer, and you should do all of your research before making a purchase. If you make what is a bad purchase in your eyes, that is your own fault, and no one else is to blame. "Buyer's remorse" is not a legitimate reason to ask for a refund... especially one so many years down the road.
There's a reason the phrase "buyer beware" exists. You made a purchase. At the time, you deemed it to be the right purchase. You no longer think so anymore, so are feeling remorse about it. That's something you deem as a loss, and one that you will have to write-off yourself.

Hello,
I recently received a second hand Google Pixel. It was running selfish N2G470 Sailfish 7.1.2. Upon further inspection I realized it was also OEM from Google. Once I purchased a Type-C charger to see if the phone even worked, I quickly realized it had the FRP locking activated and no way into the phone.. After days of Dead End video's, Out Dated Guides, and pointless APK files, I continued searching for a solution. A few days later, while shopping on EBay, I ran across a remote FRP service that said they would remote in using Team Viewer and have it completed within 1 hour after making initial contact with me after the purchase. I was skeptal. But the money was protected through PayPal and it was only $10.00. Soon after, I am contacted, remotely assisted, and step by step guide on the pixel itself and 15 min later, through the FRP Lock. I should have taken better instructions when he was telling me over video chat but, he left the version of platform tools on my pc, as well as his custom apk files and image's (it updated to 8.0 after frp bybass) Anyone interested in the files he left behind on my computer that he download from his server let me know. He used fastboot and adb. Let me know. If you know what your doing, it might help. I can kinda help guide you through the steps on the phone, my girl took a few notes on paper as well. I wanted to get this info out now, but I will come back soon with an updated tutorial. :good:

Where does one receive a second hand Pixel? If it was a hand-me-down couldn't you just ask the user to log in and remove their account from the device? Even if you bought it from a stranger they could have given you their Google password and then immediately changed it after you removed the account yourself. And just for curiosity, how much does a second hand Pixel cost?
it would probably help some people, yes.
If you post them, perhaps try posting them to a few different file sharing places; ie MEGA, rapidshare, etc so they can be shared for a while without being taken down.
Thanks for helping the community.

Doesn't matter if you sold the phone. Anything under the table is implied as is. No amount of money is worth your own person security. You should never under any circumstance tell anyone any of your passwords ever for any reason whatsoever
Edit: the right thing to do of course would be to remove accounts before frp or to be on-site when they set up their phone but not everyone even knows about frp and even less of the general public will know how to actually remove accounts

Under the table? What exactly does that mean? Illegal? You either delete your emails and change your pwd or pay the price. Let's not get crazy here. It's just an email password for perhaps 2 minutes to make some money that is "under the table". If you can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen.
Under any circumstances, ever, whatsoever? Come on.. call me paranoid. Figure out how to do it safely. I'm sure we have the mental capacity to do something like that. Or refund the money.. simple.

No I'm not saying illegal I'm saying any direct transaction from one person to another like anything not done through an actual retailer. And no you really shouldn't be giving out passwords at all for any reason. Having that information for 2 minutes can create a window for someone to figure out your typical password structure or cross reference a fair bit of information that could lead to access to a lot more than what was intended. Again I'm not saying that not properly wiping the device so someone else can use it is okay, but I am saying it is not the responsibility of the seller to give you any passwords or personally identifiable information. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to know and ask about potential frp situations or at least understand the implied "as is" condition when buying really anything directly off of someone else.
You make a good point. Although I still think the seller has the responsibility to sell the device so it can be used by the buyer. That seems to be implied by selling it. Almost like I'm selling you my car but.. well sorry dude .. you can't have the keys. Not my problem but yours since the car is in your driveway.
Well selling a car is kinda different and has actual legal restrictions to prevent that such as title transfers etc
