Fission 1.1 - Rubix 1.0 - BBC Dark Bar & Clear Lockscreen - Droid X Themes and Apps

Ok, I ported BBCrackman's Dark Status Bar and Clear Lockscreen mod over to Fission 1.1.
I took out all the apps, lib file, boot animation and moto-res.apk from his original as well as change the install script. I also used the framework-res from Fission 1.1 as the base.
Obviously, the credit goes to BBCrackman, Droid928 (icons) and Eugene373 (battery icon)!
Boot into recovery, mount system install zip and reboot

There is nothing in here which would cause that. It only changes the framework-res and services.jar. The script doesn't make any other changes to your system.
You have to Mount System first. You only have one post here so I'm guessing you forgot to do that.
In Recovery, navigate to Mounts and Storage. Hit the camera button on MOUNT /System until it says MOUNT /System Unmount.
Then, navigate to the .zip file and install it. Hit the power button once to take you back to the main menu of Recovery. Then hit the camera button on Reboot your phone, the very top option.
There is no possible way this would cause those problems.
Are you installing this on a Droid X?

Loaded perfectly fine on my DX using the provided instructions. This theme is anything but a fail.
GMB

I mounted system as directed. I am very careful with these things. I didn't mean to come off as a jerk, I was just pissed that I had to do a restore, and lost 24 hours of tinkering with Fission 1.1, and I lost root again.
Does this theme only work with the DROID X?

[SPLASH] Inverted Unrevoked Splash Screen (Black Background White Text)

This is simply an 'unrevoked' inverted splash1. Black background with white text. This will replace your current splash1 that normally says 'HTC Incredible'.
S-Off Required
Installation:
Download the PB31IMG.zip here, and place it on the root of your SD card.
Power-down your phone, and boot into HBOOT. (Hold 'vol-down' and tap 'power')
When prompted if you would like to run the update for 'splash1', tap 'vol-up' to begin the update.
When prompted, reboot via 'vol-up' and enjoy the inverted splash!
The update process should take less than 5 seconds. Remember to remove/rename the PB31IMG.zip once complete, so that you do not get prompted to update every time you load hboot.

Just wanted to thank you for this; I liked showing the love for UnrEVOked, but the white screen always bugged me (even with stock). New version worked like a charm and looks great.
Thanks for the stock flash too; I'd been hunting for that as a backup in case the worst happens and I have to feign innocence at a Verizon store. Having a stock splash screen will make that much easier!

Thank you very much! Also thank you for the tutorial, I can't wait to get home from work and start making custom splash screens.
Looks, absolutely, great!!!
Was about to ask how to revert back if necessary but just saw your edit. Thanks a bunch for this!
I got the splash screen, but it has the white background...
Awesome! Installed! Thanks!
I need to revert back to my original splash screen
I downloaded your link from above, the stock splash screen, i follow the instructions and I am not getting an UPDATE prompt.
I renamed the file to the EVO filename also.

Are you on a deodexed 2.2 - are you on a rom?
Theme doesn't work. Same result as the previous poster who mentioned constant force closing. It requires a reboot and restore from backup. This happened on v1 but was fixed by updating the 2.3.9 to 2.3.15 then installing the theme. On the same 2.3.15 system v1.2 will not install.
ota 2.2 deodexed with 928
how do you reboot and restore from backup? I have bacup saved just cant do anything because of the force close loop.
Pull battery. Wait 10 sec then stay it up. Should load recovery.

"stay it up" what is that....did you mean start it up??
didn't work... i have to go somewhere in an hour....how can i reset with this thing doing this. even when you force close it keeps repeating.
I am running 2.2 (2.3.15) Official OTA and another person I know is running rubiX rom (he had to clear cache via RECOVERY) and he got it to work - I am comfused as to why you guys are having issues
Yeah. Stupid swype....

if your FC'ing use bootstrap recovery and get back in to recovery and load an image you saved before you flashed...

If you used the update.zip method keep doing barry pulls. Don't let it fully load. Pull barry if it his the eye. It may take a few tries but it will load recovery.

Thats just it..i cant get to programs... force loop won't let me do anything. Is there another way??
Ok lets start over. How did you install this?
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
If you get stuck in the FC loop just grab the 2.2 OTA SBF file and flash it.
installed by install zip through boot. I forgot when you power on push vol down and it puts you into recovery....restoring now.

[Q]Infuse stuck at "Samsung" when booting?

I was in rom manager and i was trying to download infused 1.5.3(im currently v2 beta 2). I clicked download and it said it finished immediately after i clicked it. I pulled the notification bar down and clicked the notification and asked me about installation. I clicked full and reboot into recovery. Then I got a changing/moving rainbow image on the screen. I pulled the battery and now when I turn it on it just says Samsung and wont move from that screen.
I cant boot into recovery either...
Anyone know what I should do?

The reason you see the rainbows is that before you start flashing the
Infuse 1.53 you need to flash the no-rainbow kernel.
Open the link below and scroll down to the BLUE text and follow the
instructions there in the blue text.

[MOD] 18 Oct -Battery - Insertcoin 3.3.0 / 3.3.3 - Segmented Circular with percentage

I will not be responsible if these damage your phone beyond your ability to repair ( a.k.a bricked ).
Make sure you do nandroid backup before trying these, just in case.
Enjoy!
This battery mod is created based on Insertcoin V3.3.0, initially for my own use. Tot i may as well contribute it here.
*Works fine after V3.3.1 update*
** Not sure it will work in other ROMs ( maybe someone can test and revert ) **

Green Segmented Circular Battery with percentage while charging
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?4t623cxdgbl5jq5
** Some may find the percentage too small since it is cooked from UOT. It looks fine to me. So i will leave it as it is. **
Judge for yrself in the screenshot below:
Instructions
1. Copy Stock Battery Mod to your SD card.
2. Boot into Recovery
3. Do Nandroid Backup ( Remember this , unless u can afford to risk it )
4. Wipe cache and dalvik-cache (just in case). Do not wipe data / factory reset.
5. choose "install zip from sdcard"
6. choose "choose zip from sdcard"
7. locate your zip file in SD
8. confirm "YES - ... .zip"
9. wait for script to finish
10. Boot up... should work now.
WARNING!
If you flashed new rom, boot up your phone first time
and after that reboot into recovery and follow the above instructions to flash file.
** Remember to thank me using the 'Thanks" button if you like this **

Custom Recovery File Manager!!!!

Just found this cool recovery file manager so thought should share.Find the original post here.
Aroma file manager lets you manage the file system(copy, cut, paste, delete, make new folder, etc) from both sdcard as well as the root of the device just like any other file manager out there but hold on here's the catch you can do all that from the RECOVERY(well custom recovery to be exact).
The best part is it has a nice touchscreen interface. You can touch and hold on the file to set permissions too.It even has includes a terminal emulator. And you can set themes in it and fonts etc etc.
So all in all a great option to have in case you mess up.No more flashing the whole ROM again just because you messed up with a few apks or files and ended up bootlooping.
So to get started the installation is pretty simple:
1.Copy the zip into your sdcard.
2.Reboot your device into recovery mode.
3.Choose install from sdcard.
4.Select the AROMA Filemanager ZIP.
And there you go the file manager will start up!!!
Edit: To access the system and other folders which are not showing you'll have to mount them first.it's just a one time process actually.
Go to settings and select auto mount all devices at start.apply and reflash the zip you'll get access to everything.!!!
Find the download in the attachment below.

No bro..
This can be flashed only on custom recovery like bootmenu or bootstrapper.the thing is if you are doing some modding or playing around with your system and end up bootlooping(while having the custom recovery)you can correct your wrong doing by this.or even if you wanna copy something to from sdcard while in boot loop or softbrick this will come in handy.
