[SPLASH] Inverted Unrevoked Splash Screen (Black Background White Text) - Droid Incredible Themes and Apps

This is simply an 'unrevoked' inverted splash1. Black background with white text. This will replace your current splash1 that normally says 'HTC Incredible'.
S-Off Required
Installation:
Download the PB31IMG.zip here, and place it on the root of your SD card.
Power-down your phone, and boot into HBOOT. (Hold 'vol-down' and tap 'power')
When prompted if you would like to run the update for 'splash1', tap 'vol-up' to begin the update.
When prompted, reboot via 'vol-up' and enjoy the inverted splash!
The update process should take less than 5 seconds. Remember to remove/rename the PB31IMG.zip once complete, so that you do not get prompted to update every time you load hboot.

Looks good man

Just wanted to thank you for this; I liked showing the love for UnrEVOked, but the white screen always bugged me (even with stock). New version worked like a charm and looks great.
Thanks for the stock flash too; I'd been hunting for that as a backup in case the worst happens and I have to feign innocence at a Verizon store. Having a stock splash screen will make that much easier!

How do you change the image for the splash screen? Tutorial anywhere?

Thank you very much! Also thank you for the tutorial, I can't wait to get home from work and start making custom splash screens.

Looks, absolutely, great!!!

Was about to ask how to revert back if necessary but just saw your edit. Thanks a bunch for this!

I got the splash screen, but it has the white background...

Awesome! Installed! Thanks!

I need to revert back to my original splash screen
I downloaded your link from above, the stock splash screen, i follow the instructions and I am not getting an UPDATE prompt.
I renamed the file to the EVO filename also.

How to change a splash screen? (NOT Welcomehead file)

I am not talking the welcomehead file in the windows directory.
I once flash a NATF ROM. Since then, his splash screen shows every time I reboot the device. Even if I flash a different ROM, this screen is still the same.
The splash I am referring to is shown immediately after reboot. It takes a few seconds then info below is shown on the same splash but in RED lettering at the bottom right hand corner:
R: 1.12.....
G: 52.60.15.....
D: 5.08 RRE V2
Or something like that. Then it continues and goes into the ROM splash screen (Welcomehead etc.)
How do I change that initial splash screen with something else?
Thanks in advance!
There is a whole thread about making your own splash screens somewhere. I will put a link to it once I find it.
Meanwhile, if you want the original splash screen of touch pro, I have that.
It looks like this and all you have to do is run the RUU. (it will hard reset your phone, so backup all your stuff before flashing)

yep, you need to be aware that default splash screens do not replace the second splash screen, nor even does flashing a whole stock rom, USB or SD card. I had to send my phone back to O2, and ended up taking an o2 splash and creating a 2nd splash screen from that to make it look like it was all one o2 splashscreen.
I tested with several stock roms, both usb and sd card, and none of them removed my custom second splash screen.

[Q]Infuse stuck at "Samsung" when booting?

I was in rom manager and i was trying to download infused 1.5.3(im currently v2 beta 2). I clicked download and it said it finished immediately after i clicked it. I pulled the notification bar down and clicked the notification and asked me about installation. I clicked full and reboot into recovery. Then I got a changing/moving rainbow image on the screen. I pulled the battery and now when I turn it on it just says Samsung and wont move from that screen.
I cant boot into recovery either...
Anyone know what I should do?

The reason you see the rainbows is that before you start flashing the
Infuse 1.53 you need to flash the no-rainbow kernel.
Open the link below and scroll down to the BLUE text and follow the
instructions there in the blue text.

Splash screen collection: Evo 4G

UPDATE: You just need to rename the ****PC36IMG.zip to just PC36IMG.zip and then push to the root of your sdcard and boot into Hboot and it will flash.

I figured I would start the thread with the splash screens I make and I would love to do any requests for people. Just post an image that you want me to create into a splash screen or tell me what you want and I'll see if I can do it. I'm not very good in paint.net or photoshop yet but I can try my best (or have my adobe certified brother do it for me lol)
Anyway, here is the link to the archive and the batch file inside flashes the image for you. If anyone who knows how wants to create a pc36img zip for it, you're welcome to and I'll add it to the main post.

HTC and CIQ Quietly watching you.
This is the second splash screen that I made and since I remember the CIQ issues everyone has, I figured I would take a shot at it.
Same thing as before, just use the batch script until I figure out how to make a PC36IMG.zip
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15069134/CIQ&HTC.rar
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Iphone Joke
same rules as above for flashing. Just unzip folder and run the batch file.

update: here is the PC36IMG.zip file for it remove the Iphone from the name.

Warm Synergy
Alright, for the auto-flashing without manually going into bootloader, follow the same instructions as before
for flashing to via bootloader name "warmPC36IMG.zip" to PC36IMG.zip and boot into bootloader and it will automatically flash.
Download for normal zip to flash automatically: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15069134/Warm Synergy.zip
Download for PC36IMG: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15069134/warmPC36IMG.zip
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shooter Rom
Same way to install as above
Auto install link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15069134/Shooter.zip
PC36IMG install: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15069134/ShotPC36IMG.zip
Here is the Android Sauce one. Did not try to flash it myself, but should work fine. Obviously just rename to PC36IMG.zip and flash through bootloader.
Thanks for posting that, I'll try flashing it
No problem, let me know.
Worked fine and I just found out that I only had to change the name to Splash1.img
I am a noob at this stuff but I just used the tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1146515 so not sure if it's as easy as just renaming the image.
Awesome! I remember when i first tried doing this it almost bricked my phone hehe

[Splash] Android Master Race

Made a couple of simple splash screens, since the last time I could, the G1 was the best phone on the market. I might as well share them.
Instructions:
Boot your device into fastboot
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Start RUU Flash mode
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
Flash the custom splash screen
Code:
fastboot flash zip splash.zip
Make sure that there are no error messages when flashing
Reboot your device and enjoy your new splash screen.
Code:
fastboot reboot

Can you please post a stock splash screen as I have to return my M8 for warranty repair? TIA
I don't have the stock splash, but this one should be close enough.
are there any special instructions for MAKING a splash screen, i edited a 1080x1920 img with my name on it, is there any format i need to convert the image to, or just renaming it would do it?
ive looked all over the forums for how to do this for the m8 and nobody seems to give instructions on how to make a splash screen for it, they only provide their own splash.

The image needs to be in rgb565 format. Then you can replace the splash1.nb0 in a zip with the image you made.

I created one with the m7 splash creator, then opened your zip, deleted yours, added mine, renamed it splash1.nb0, and flashed it with your instructions, worked out great. Thanks a bunch.
