Hello,
i have only small question..
I have on my Magic mostly latest Cyanogen nightly mod, latest GAPPS and my phone work well.
All is in my national language(Google maps, Gmail etc.etc...) , which is czech, EXCEPT Market. And my question is, why is Market in english, or where is to download multilanguage Vending.apk ? On Eclair i have ALL in my language, but from first nightly builds of Froyo this thing make me angry. English language is not problem, BUT....

I just installed cyanogen mod and noticed that , althought I can choose Nederlands ( dutch) as a language , not all is in dutch . for instance the keyboard does not have a ductch dictionary available ( so no predictive text). Also Talk is in English as are some native nexus s settings .. The stock rom I had (gri54) does have all those things in dutch ... Is there a way to get those thing in dutch to on Cyanogen ?
I do not quite unnderstand why my language isn't completely supported on Cyanogen and it is supported on my gri54 stock ..
I think you must wait cm7 team to fully translate the mod to your language. You can also make a request at cm official forum.

Hi Bandis,
I already send a request to the CM team (Cyanogen himself) to contribute in translating the modded parts in Dutch (Nederlands). That was two weeks ago. But never received a reply on that.....

okay ..but it still makes me wonder why for example the gingerbread keyboard does not contain the dutch dictionary or why gtalk is in english , or the google ad account part is in English ? these are not parts that are modded I guess ? On gri54 they are all in dutch .. Maybe it is because they use gri40 as base ?

GRI40: USA
GRI54: Europe.
Okay , so Cyanogen will never have full dutch, because they are I believe from the usa ?
Why not use european base as a standard , it contains complete english ( us and uk) as well as a dozen other languages complete ...
Hello I am running the Miui 2.1.20 and the SWAT patch. I have the english pack installed but there are still some things in chinese. How can I switch the whole phone to english so I know what it says?
Thank you,
It depends if that app has English translations or not. Some apps like AntiSpam and Monitor has only Chinese strings. But you can try replacing some of them (e.g. AntiSpam and Settings) with the ones from miuiandroid.com Make sure you get the apk from the same MIUI release.
Dunno why Mark didn't translate them in the original ROM
Hi everyone!
After long search I decided to ask you guys for help..
So, I got Defy, currently running on stock Froyo 2.2.2 (Central European Region) and everything works fine but this region's version doesn't have Croatian language.. I tried several other stock ROM-s, but none of those which I tried does not contain my language..
My question is - is there a stock ROM which contains croatian language and where can I find it?
I know that CyanogenMod has it, but it isn't so good - lot of options aren't correctly translated, or doesn't have a translation at all..
If there ain't no ROM with my lang. file, can I import it somehow, or translate some other language to mine and import it to my phone?
Thanks for suggestions, appreciate it!
Anyone?
MS2Ginger has a solid language pack. It's a gingerbread ROM though, but you can give it a try. I am also looking for a language pack to import afterwards but couldn't find any. Success
Look for MoreLocale 2 in Google Play Store
Hi
I need a stock rom with Danish language for my Desire S.
I have tried several roms from Europe from others posts, but they have not Danish.
Europe roms have German, English, French, but no Danish, how come?
Can anybody help me please?
Danish language
Hi
Simply without changing your rom you could try this:
install "MoreLocale 2" from android market (Play)
Select "Danish" from language menu from this app and then will the phone will be danish.
I did change my wildfire to arabic rom. Which I then lost danish. Did install MoreLocale2 and now have both full arabic and danish support!
If you will change your rom:
I think you should use this one:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/c0a...22U_3822.10.08.04_M_release_225161_signed.exe
I got this version on my desire s and it is stable.
There also a 2.10.401.9 version available - i dont recommend to use it.
The "Telecare" in Denmark did install the 2.10.401.8 for me.
When I check for OTA updates, it tell me that the phone is updated - even there is 2.10.401.9 on the web.
(Be carefull to select your radio version!)
If you cant not find it, tell me where to upload it, and i will try.
(complete list for desire s (SAGA_S) on: http://www.filefactory.com/f/c64d333a2755a421/ from post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002506)
Thank you very much, I will try with more locale 2 first.
Perfect, MoreLocale 2 works like it was a Danish rom
I have seen a number of people having issues with the dictionaries that come with the AOSP keyboard on stock ROMs. So I think it is useful if we post which dictionaries come with each ROM (I know a solution is to download a keyboard app with multi-language support including Google Keyboard). I got 176.44.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.GB and the languages are:
176.44.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.GB
---------------------------------------------------
German
English
Spanish
French
Italian
Portuguese (Brazil)
Russian
I am just wondering if there is a ROM with Greek pre-installed...?
