Experts help please!
Is there any tweak to customize default settings of send/receive mails and downloads messages from a certain time?
Thank you very much for any response.
Already inbuilt that option in your device, just edit your SyncOption

Hi,
I would like to ask if it's possible to add, customize the Call apps and Contacts apps (which are default) in Android.
My idea is that when you open the Contact list, click on someone there, the screen will display information (Number, Call, SMS now) and I want to add another button under all, so that when you hit, it'll call the user via VOIP or do some function ...
Is it possible to customize the default apps? is there somewhere that I can have the source code of these apps?
What I really need is to add some more function into the Calls apps and Contacts apps but I really don't know where to begin it
Someone can help me?
Thanks in advance
I have 2 questions for fellow users & Mod of this forum.
Q1. Do you know how can I set up shortcuts in my android email client while writing
emails.
For example - I want "TFYE" to convert into "thanks for your email"
or "T&R" to convert into "Thanks & Regards". One of my buddies does that in
BB and it saves lots of time.
Q2. How can I have my Android phone read me my emails (Text to
Speech) as they arrive. Specially when I am driving and Bluetooth in ON.
Any help on above questions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi
using multi-user profiles with marshmallow: the list of phonecalls (history) and all sms are for all users the same.
Using 2 sim cards and separating business and private contacts in one phone it makes no sense to have only that 2 options:
1. user is NOT allowed to phone and sms (=will not see list of calls and sms), but will have only individual contacts
2. user is allowed to phone and sms, can only have his individual contacts. BUT he is sharing the phonecalllist (history) and sms from ALL other users.
Maybe that makes sense for somebody - but not for me.
The option to share ALL (incl. contacts !) - or nothing, that makes sense for me.
I want/need complete and separate profiles!
Every "user" in his user profile should see only his own contacts, his own phonecall history and his own sms.
How can I get that? Is there a workaround or app for that?

I recently decided to install an email app (Outlook) to my phone versus just using the standard built in client. Galaxy s5 rooted(TWRP/Xposed/MM). I made some custom notifications and ringtones and placed them into the notifications folder and ringtones folders on the phone. I had no problems setting the tones for my email when i just used the built in phone email client but now that I have the app installed when I try and set a notification tone it only shows up the basic notification tones that are pre-installed into the phone. Is there a way to get it to find the custom tones I added or is this not possible b/c it is an email app? Any help appreciated

I want to use Android messages on my Note 8 with the S3. It works! It allows me to reply and has a list of quick replies. BUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I can't find where to edit that list. It is a different list than the quick replies in the settings. Those work with the native samsung messages app. I want to use the Android so I can see my messages on my computer!
I have looked in the app, on the phone, on the watch app. Just can't find it!
Any help would be appreciated.
