Can someone help me? Looking for a VERY THIN and DURABLE case - Nexus One Accessories

Can anyone suggest a case similar to:
Casemate's Barely There
I have tried ordering this case off 7 websites and the main Casemate website and EVERY SINGLE site is OUT OF STOCK.
What should I do?
Is the Incipio Feather a good solid case? As good as the Barely There?

should be a case? if it's very thin, bestskinever is good.

I like my Boxwave Crystal Clear, it doesn't hide the Nexus beauty, it's thin, but I'd like to think it's protective.
It's a soft rubbery case.. Not a hard case, not a silicone case...

Seidio Innocase II.

I thought the Innocase II was a thicker phone case.
I was looking for something like the Barely There.
Has anyone on here tried the Boxwave Snap Fit Shell?

got it
went on a lil nexus one shopping spree:
got the
- Boxwave Snap-Fit Shell in Jet Black - 24.99
- Barely There Metallic -22.99
- CaseMate ID Case (was on sale 9.99)
- Seidio Innodock Jr Desktop Cradle
I am going to post a video review of all this.

[Q] Best Rugged Case/Holster

I'm about to purchase an HTC Desire, and I'm shopping for a good case/holster so I'm ready to go once I get the new phone (just waiting on the contract to expire)...
I work in a manufacturing plant, and I'm pretty rough on phones. I typically carry them horizontally on my belt, and I'm looking for something similar. However, I want something that will protect as much as possible as it get bumped on equipment, conveyor, etc. Screen-in is a must, obviously. I'd really like something that protects the phone all the time, and then some sort of holster that holds the phone with the protection.
The best thing I've found is a Innocase Rugged Combo, but it's only available for the Nexus One, and won't fit the desire...
Something similar I've found is a snap-on hard case combo but I haven't found any reviews. It's a hard cover and a clip-type holster together from Techie Warehouse (mfg unknown).
Then there are clip-type holsters like the Amzer Rubberized holster.
Or leather holsters like the MobiMan Premium.
Then, I've always got the option to make something. My best friend makes leather and kydex holsters, so I'm tempted to make my own holster like the leather or clip one. I would just keep the phone in armor like the Case-Mate Barely There, Case-Mate Tough, or PDair Aluminum Case within the holster I make.
What do you guys think? Any experience with any of these, especially the Techie hard combo case? Thanks,
Danny
Have you had a peek at the OtterBox line of cases? They are pretty tough, especially the Defender. The Desire cases are at http://www.otterbox.com/desire-cases/desire-cases,default,sc.html. Only the Defender has a belt clip, and it's made to fit the case. Someone else on XDA had one, and they dropped their Desire down a set of stairs, and it hit a wall and then the ground, and the case was undamaged, and so was the phone.
Just quickly, and off topic, but welcome to xda-developers, shorin!
Yes, I looked at the Otterbox cases. They look very nice, but they just don't quite meet my needs.
The Defender does have a belt clip, but it places the screen out. I'd break the screen in a day with that...
I have considered the Commuter if I make my own holster.
Thanks for the welcome. I've been on here quite a while. Just never needed to post until now...
Thanks,
Danny
It looks like the Otterbox Defender may be the ticket. I did some looking again, and I didn't see any reason the phone wouldn't fit with the screen in.
I found a review on YouTube that confirms this and I also asked the question via the Q&A on the Otterbox website and they confirmed that the holster will work screen-in.
Problem solved...
Danny
No problem!

Just a lily note. I personally use the otterbox defender. It fits the holder screen in or out. And my opinion the best protection money can buy.

Diztronix experts: TPU vs hard case?

I'm trying to decide between the matte black TPU case and the hard case from Diztronix. What are the pluses and minuses on each?

Well I have the Matte black Case From Diztronic...Its perfect to me...feels great...fits right and looks very good...but just pick the case you like best my friend bcuz thats all that matters...
I was on their site for a brief moment after seeing the review for the TPU case (ordered one, it looks like a good case!) and saw the hard case as an option, so checked out the pictures.
Biggest difference is that being a hard case, it can't flex to put the phone in, so the top/bottom bits are missing like many other cases. That was the biggest reason I went for the TPU since it has protection all around.
Tpu vs hard case.
TPU is a tad thicker, but provides more protection. All corners are covered.
Hardcase is thinner and does not provide coverage on the top of the phone and bottom.
I have the TPU, and hardcase coming in on Monday. I opted for the hardcase because of the option to put it into my GNex Seidio Surface case. The tpu is too thick and makes the phone too long to fit so hoping this will fit and be my weekend warrior.
Saying all that, I currently got my LG Nexus Bumper. And I have to say I do like it a lot. I actually had one but since sold it when I first got the phone because using the bumper, the phone would not fit in any of my universal cases at the time.
I got the Diztronic tpu and had that and was quite happy with it. Seeing a few threads about the Seidio holster possibility, I went and bought the hard case because I already have the Seidio Surface spring holster. Between all of that happening, I finally got my bumper case and fell in love with the bumper all over again. Thinking I was going to sell it again because I couldn't find a decent holster to house the phone, I tried putting the phone with the bumper into my universal vertical belt holster which fit the phone and tpu case.
To my disbelief and amazement, the phone actually fit! The Diztronic stretched the the case enough where the bumper can pretty much slide in without an issue!
Well sorry for the long a$$ story, but this is what I had personally gone through so far. Not to mention getting yet another case, the Nillkin flip case. Not sure if I am going to keep it though. I may just sell it to another person here or ebay.

What case do you use?

What case is everyone using?
Exactly what the title asks.
This is not a thread for what you think is the best case out there. This thread is for you to post what case/s you use and your experiences with it/them.
It is also to help other users find new cases that they may like.
This thread will also be used for cleaning up the clutter of people starting new threads asking about cases they should use.
Maybe include a link if you think it's good.
Right now, I am naked and so is my phone. Only have a tempered glass protector on it.
As of now, the options will be limited, but this thread will explode as more cases become available.
No case, and no screen protector for me on any of my devices. Have never had a scratch or any other damage to any of my phones.
My Spigen Neo Hybrid Came in today - and I am very impressed with the quality of this case. I had the Spigen Neo Hybrid on my S5 and S4 and while I liked the case for those phones, the aluminum shell was kind of flimsy and while it looked good - it was not as durable as I might have liked - in fact the metal around the hole for the battery broke on one of the cases I was using.
After getting the new Neo Hybrid case, it looks and feels more like a premium case - the metal surrounding the case is very solid and has a very premium feel to it. All in all it adds a very nice level of protection without adding bulk - and it keeps that very high end feel that comes with the NOTE 4 outside of the case.
FYI - I have also installed a BODY GLOVE Screen Protector - it took a little getting used to at first - it does not cover the glass from side to side because of the curved edges - but it does cover the viewing area quite well and looks good too.

I Did have the Spigen tough armor can and the slim armor, Returned both due to being way too slippery and on the TA the conners keep digging into my hand which made thing uncomfortable.

I got talked into a case at the T-Mobile store. They only had one to choose from, the Samsung S-View Flip Cover. I'm really liking it. The shell is thin and slightly hard, and I can access customized settings through the window without having to open the case.
It was $50, and at first I was going to go back and return it but after having it for a day I'm going to keep it.

You can get 50% off on that case directly from Samsung as a gift for registering your N4 with them. They give you 50% off on all of their accessories priced at $49.99 or less, you can order up to five accessories.

I an still probably going to buy a case just to have some protection before Otterbox gets released. And If sprint store doesn't honor Samsung coupon, then when the online order shows up, I'm returning original back to sprint...
I'm waiting for Seidio to release their Dilex cases. Had one for the note 3 and I love the metal kickstand. I'm hesitant on buying the Spigen Slim/Tough armor because I'm hearing bad things about the plastic kickstand.
Received my Neo Hybrid in Satin Silver, it is really nice, just need phone to put in it
I went with the White Spigen Slim Armor case for now, and may order the Slate or Champagne Gold (or both) later.

Using a Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal Slate case on my Note 4 right now. Otterbox Commuter case is ordered and on its way. Using Ringke screen protector(from Ringke fusion).
To hold me until I find something more protective that gets substantial positive feed-back, I'm now using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Crystal Clear that I bought during the (now dead?) Spigen early-morning sales for $3.49 + $3.00 shipping. So far so good.
I'm using Spigen Ultra Hybrid case too. But is mint on the grip with clear back.

Before 2010, i used screen protectors and cases, because old smartphones (and PDAs) would scratch easily, not the case anymore, and since 2010 my phones is naked 100%
I keep jumping back and forth between naked and the Grey S-View.
Mostly the Spigen capsule in metal slate, the first of many Spigen cases i liked. And now the Obliq rugged slim case in Grey.

I ordered that one too, waiting for it to arrive in a few days. What I am looking forward to see is a case (like on my Note2) that replaces the back cover and only has a flap that covers the screen. This type of "case" is the thinnest and for me the most interesting. they are not available yet for the Note 4 though. here is a video of what I mean
I'll get my body glove satin case in black color in early of November, but won't be able to photo it with the phone, I'm waiting for samsung in my country release it's bronze gold color. lol
That will take long time
i ordered this one here loved the way it looked and it has a cover for your s-pen and lots of colors http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MP3OZME/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
ill have it by the 30th

Spigen Neo Hybrid, or Otterbox Commuter?

Which case would you put your trust into more?
I currently have the Spigen which I could take back for $15, and I have an Otterbox on the way that I spent $5 through coupons on which I can sell for $25.
But I don't care about money, I only care about which one you think will be best for my phone.
This is the second phone I've bought an Otterbox Commuter for. I love the Commuter's styling and protection and wouldn't buy anything else.
Commuter.i had to the hybrid but the commuter is way better
I have the neo hybrid cc and I love it. I love the fact that it's clear so you can show off the beauty of the phone. It's is very slim and has quite a bit of rubber material around the entire edge which seems to provide total coverage. I haven't dropped it yet, but I feel confident that I'll be good to go if I did. I also advise getting a tempered glass screen protector with this case. It will fit just inside the edges, leaving only a tiny gap around the edge. Hope this helps.
I have the spigen neo hybrid. Dropped the phone twice already? and
Still as it was when it came out of the box..?
The Otterbox Commuter has my vote.
I have the Neo Hybrid CC case and I love it. It adds very little bulk and yet the phone feels secure. I haven't dropped it yet *knock on wood* but it feels like it (the phone) would be OK if I did.
Personal opinion on the look of the Commuter case (and Otterbox cases in general) … This is a stunning phone. Probably the one of if not the nicest Android devices ever. Why would you put it in such a bulky, unattractive case? I mean, unless you work in construction, or have a history of dropping phones like crazy.
Otterbox Commuter
The otterbox commuter is just a tougher case.
I've trusted my phones to otterbox for 3 years now. Never had a broken phone through multiple drops including high speed fumbles that end up skittering across a concrete floor. Even stepped on my phone once with no damage.
Speck CandyShell
Sorry for not answering with Otterbox or Spigen but please hear me out.
I purchased an S4 on launch day 2 years ago and immediately had it in a Spigen Neo Hybrid. I used the Neo Hybrid for several months then switched to an Otterbox commuter which I used until getting the S6.
Between the S4 Neo Hybrid and Otterbox Commuter I felt like the Neo Hybrid looked better but the Otterbox Commuter was more durable.
I purchased a Spigen Neo Hybrid CC for my S6 when it was on Slickdeals discount code for $6.00
I used it for a few days and tried to like it but it just didn't compare to the Speck CandyShell case that I got for my wife's IPhone 6. The Speck CandyShell is a one part case.
I picked up a Speck CandyShell white and black and it will likely be the case I use for the next 2 years. When you put it on the phone it seriously makes the case feel like part of the phone.
The quality is great and it feels like it will protect the phone better than the Neo Hybrid CC. My brother has the base version of the Spigen Neo Hybrid on his S6 and the first thing he said when he felt my case was that he should have gotten it instead.
One downside to the case is that the power button and volume buttons are in the rubberized portion of the case exterior and do not provide the crisp feel of the metalized buttons on the Neo Hybrid case.
Another downside is that the back plastic shows small scratches easily. They do offer a grip version which has rubberized grip on the back which would keep the plastic from contacting the surface when setting the phone down.
Before selecting a case please go to Best Buy and test out the Speck CandyShell. You should be able to pull the case out of the box and put it on your phone to test.
So far I really like my Neo Hybrid. I had an Otterbox Commuter on my M8 and it was ok
Try the uag just got it. I have the commuter not even close. Protective and thin

Slim, crystal clear case for the Nexus 6P?

Hello,
Im looking for a case for my new Nexus 6P. I already looked up a bunch of case collection threads in the accessories section, but couldn't find the right one. I want a slim/thin fit case (I know it has minimal protection, but the nexus is just beautiful, I will take that risk), that is crystal clear and doesn't cover up the buttons on the side.
Looks like the shimmery white adopted case that comes from google is the only one, that nearly fits my requirements. I just want to make sure that I don't miss my (dream)case, if it exists.
Does anyone know a case that would be perfect for me?
Check aliexpress and eBay. From Aliexpress I got a case... think the brand is Lenuvo or something like that, for a few bucks. It is entirely gel TPU, and I got the slightly smoked color to hide dirt better, but it is still very true to my aluminum 6P's color. It is the thinnest case I own compared to the several others I have. It does cover the buttons though, but provides good feedback.
I also have a frosted clear plastic shell, a lot like the Spigen thin fit I got on eBay for a few bucks. It doesn't cover the buttons or anything, but I just didn't like it that much. I prefer either the Spigen thin fit, the BearMotion sandstone thin fit, or the Cimo smoked matte gel tpu when I need a little more protection.
