Im looking for a case that def adds protection but not as much as an otterbox beings I will be adding a Glass screen protector. I also want it to be pretty grippy not so much where it attracts every piece of lent in my pocket but I don't think I want a Neo-hybrid because from looking at the backs of those they just look very slippery and even though I rarely drop my phone now. I feel awkward holding it because the back of the s4 case is so slippery and I always feel like I'm gonna drop it. I was thinking of maybe the I-Blaston dual prime or the Seidio Surface...any other suggestions??
Thanks again!!
The Seidio Surface is a solid choice. If you want to try a TPU case, I recommend Diztronic. The Incipio Dual-Pro is pretty good too though thicker than the other two I just listed (but not nearly as thick as an Otterbox).
Have you looked at Spigen's offerings since you are already getting a Glas.t screen protector. They do make some great cases. I like OB cases, but they do add bulk and the trade off is tough to live with at times.

I know, I know...please not another "which should I choose?" thread...I get tired of them too. With that being said, the topic pretty much tells the tale. I'll clarify for those willing to give their input: I've narrowed my choice of cases down to these two (PureGear DualTek Extreme and UAG Navigator) based on my personal preferences, but I have no experience with either company nor their products...This is where you come in. I'm not asking you to necessarily tell me which one I should choose or shouldn't choose, but I would like to hear how YOUR experience has been with either of these companies or these cases. Any and all input is welcomed!
Thanks in advance for your participation.
I had a Dualtek Extreme case for my Razr Maxx and after about a week of collecting massive pocket lint the corner bumpers started falling off. I only had the case for about 2 weeks cause after the bumpers fell off it looked really silly. (A very heavy duty case but minus bumpers you ahve gaping holes on all four corners.)
I just ordered a GS4 and am kicking around the UAG or the Spigen SlimArmor case. (Leaning more towards UAG cause I like the look and the large built in corner bumpers.)
Never tried the puregear case, but rocked the Uag case on my S3, and right now I have the black uag case for my S4 and just ordered the white one as well. Highly recommend Uag. Great protection, durable, not bulky, and their customer service is awesome. I put up a review of the uag case if you want to check it out

I've had it for a day now and I am really happy with it. The price is more than fair (IMO). Protection is excellent since it is a 2 stage cover (Silicon-Plastic).
The front of the device is protected meaning you can place your phone face down.
And finally it looks great.
What case is everyone using?
Exactly what the title asks.
This is not a thread for what you think is the best case out there. This thread is for you to post what case/s you use and your experiences with it/them.
It is also to help other users find new cases that they may like.
This thread will also be used for cleaning up the clutter of people starting new threads asking about cases they should use.
Maybe include a link if you think it's good.
Right now, I am naked and so is my phone. Only have a tempered glass protector on it.
As of now, the options will be limited, but this thread will explode as more cases become available.
No case, and no screen protector for me on any of my devices. Have never had a scratch or any other damage to any of my phones.
My Spigen Neo Hybrid Came in today - and I am very impressed with the quality of this case. I had the Spigen Neo Hybrid on my S5 and S4 and while I liked the case for those phones, the aluminum shell was kind of flimsy and while it looked good - it was not as durable as I might have liked - in fact the metal around the hole for the battery broke on one of the cases I was using.
After getting the new Neo Hybrid case, it looks and feels more like a premium case - the metal surrounding the case is very solid and has a very premium feel to it. All in all it adds a very nice level of protection without adding bulk - and it keeps that very high end feel that comes with the NOTE 4 outside of the case.
FYI - I have also installed a BODY GLOVE Screen Protector - it took a little getting used to at first - it does not cover the glass from side to side because of the curved edges - but it does cover the viewing area quite well and looks good too.

I got talked into a case at the T-Mobile store. They only had one to choose from, the Samsung S-View Flip Cover. I'm really liking it. The shell is thin and slightly hard, and I can access customized settings through the window without having to open the case.
It was $50, and at first I was going to go back and return it but after having it for a day I'm going to keep it.

You can get 50% off on that case directly from Samsung as a gift for registering your N4 with them. They give you 50% off on all of their accessories priced at $49.99 or less, you can order up to five accessories.

I an still probably going to buy a case just to have some protection before Otterbox gets released. And If sprint store doesn't honor Samsung coupon, then when the online order shows up, I'm returning original back to sprint...
I'm waiting for Seidio to release their Dilex cases. Had one for the note 3 and I love the metal kickstand. I'm hesitant on buying the Spigen Slim/Tough armor because I'm hearing bad things about the plastic kickstand.
Received my Neo Hybrid in Satin Silver, it is really nice, just need phone to put in it
I went with the White Spigen Slim Armor case for now, and may order the Slate or Champagne Gold (or both) later.

Using a Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal Slate case on my Note 4 right now. Otterbox Commuter case is ordered and on its way. Using Ringke screen protector(from Ringke fusion).
To hold me until I find something more protective that gets substantial positive feed-back, I'm now using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Crystal Clear that I bought during the (now dead?) Spigen early-morning sales for $3.49 + $3.00 shipping. So far so good.
I'm using Spigen Ultra Hybrid case too. But is mint on the grip with clear back.

Before 2010, i used screen protectors and cases, because old smartphones (and PDAs) would scratch easily, not the case anymore, and since 2010 my phones is naked 100%
I keep jumping back and forth between naked and the Grey S-View.
Mostly the Spigen capsule in metal slate, the first of many Spigen cases i liked. And now the Obliq rugged slim case in Grey.

I ordered that one too, waiting for it to arrive in a few days. What I am looking forward to see is a case (like on my Note2) that replaces the back cover and only has a flap that covers the screen. This type of "case" is the thinnest and for me the most interesting. they are not available yet for the Note 4 though. here is a video of what I mean
I'll get my body glove satin case in black color in early of November, but won't be able to photo it with the phone, I'm waiting for samsung in my country release it's bronze gold color. lol
That will take long time

ill have it by the 30th
Seems that it's pretty common for people to buy multiple cases, so I was wondering which ones you've purchased and which one is your favorite?
I have 3 cases.....
Spigen Neo-Hybrid .....(Good looking, good edge protection, heart rate sensor very difficult to use)
UAG Aero .....(Great protection all around, uncomfortable to hold and bulky in pocket)
Diztronic TPU black .....(Bland, moderate protection, slim and feels good in the hands)
I have to say, I prefer the Diztronic. It's the lowest profile of the three, and is the most comfortable to hold. Of course it doesn't offer the good looks of the Spigen, or the ruggedness of the UAG, but it's the one I'm rolling with for now. I have a Samsung protective cover coming Monday, so I'll have to see how that one goes before declaring Diztronic the winner.

Cases I have or have tried:
Spigen Neo hybrid
Spigen Air cushioned bumper
Spigen Tough armor
Spigen Slim armor
Verus Iron shield
Verus Crystalmixx
Body glove satin tpu
Otterbox commuter
Caseology bumper frame
Slim armor for me. Most comfortable to hold, looks good, has kickstand and offers good protection. Not for everyone, but it for the bill for me. Between that and a Caseology carbon fiber bumper case.

I have 4 cases. Ringke fusion in clear, spigen capsule, terrapin tpu and just got the caseology tpu drop protection. I like the caseology most, just wish the buttons are covered then it would have been perfect for me. Don't really like bulky cases. Oh yeah I bought the spigen new Capella and end up returning it. That thing is too bulky and buttons are hard to press not to mention it scratch my phone, it was hard to get my phone in and out. Regret putting my phone in it.
I have two cases - the black Diztronic and a blue Samsung Protective Cover. I use the Samsung because: it looks better; it feels better in my hand; and the Diztronic tended to get oily fingerprints on it. I really like the Samsung case and will stick with it.

How is the caseology tpu as far as finish? Is it gloss or matte? Stiffer like the spigens or soft like a jelly cover? Thanks in advance.

I currently have:
Ringke Fusion
Spigen Capsule
Spigen Neo Hybrid
Spigen Slim Armour
I-Blason Unity Series case
Overall I think I like the Spigen Capsule the most. The grey color is nice and it's slim but offers decent protection. The Spigen Slim Armour is one if the thicker cases but feels great in the hand due to the sides being rounded off.I suspect my favorite case will be the Verus Iron Shield that just I ordered [emoji2]

It's glossy and has shimmer but not very obvious and yeah it's more stiff than the spigen capsule. Spigen capsule feels like rubber tpu while caseology feels like a little bit of hardness for a tpu. Both are great quality just depends of the persons preference I guess.
I have the red samsung protective case and I have to admit that it is excellent, the fit is perfect and in hand it feels perfect

I have the Spigen Tough Armor and love it.
I first brought spigen ultra hybrid mint. Switch to clear version after the mint part turn black. Then i brought blue jelly tpu and sold off clear ultra hybrid. Brought 0.3mm clear using it for long time. Sold off blue jelly.
Brought mercury skyblue jelly case. Use it one day dump into chute. Too sticky and slippery. Made note 4 sticky too. After abit of wiping back to 0.3 mm clear tpu.
So using 0.3mm clear tpu now.

I have 4 cases:
BodyGlove Satin: Decent case, good feel in the hands a bit bulkier than I like. It does have an excellent grip. Sometimes volume and power keys are hard to get to and the opening for the USB cable is too small. Some of my cords were "large" and bulged out the case.
Caseology Bumper frame, metallic mesh silver: Very bulky, looks great, just too big for my taste.
Diztronic TPU case: Great fit, feels good in the hands, although seems a bit too thin for me.
Samsung-Blue: Now this is my favorite. I get the slimness of the diztronic but feels a bit more rugged.
Hopefully this will end my case buying frenzy for a while
Ringke Slim - It used to be my daily driver. Really nice rubbery texture and is very slim.
Caseology TPU - Plastic, toy like feel. It bends really well and its slightly bulkier than the Ringke Slim.
J&D Slim - Slim as the Ringke but doesn't protect the top or bottom. It's slightly more slippy (not a strong grip) than the Ringke Slim.
Spigen Neo Hybrid - Offers great protection and nice metal buttons. Way too bulky for me to hold.
Bear Motion Ultra Slim - My daily driver. The most slim, minimal protection case that doesn't cover the top or bottom. The texture feels very similar to the OnePlus One Sandstone Black. Very smooth and soft texture. The case doesn't have that 'slippery' texture. I'm considering buying additional colors.
Spigen slim armor
Speck candyshell grip
Fake leather pouch for going case-less
All are good. I love going G case-less, but I'm usually too nervous and rough to always do that. Candyshell grip is an awesome daily driver. Probably the best all around. Slim armor looks great, but scratched metal edges and it's much bulkier.

I have exactly the same cases and I use the Diztronic.
Spigen Neo Hybrid
Spigen Tough Armor
Spigen Slim Armor

Verus Thor
Definitely like the Verus the best. Planning on ordering the Ballistic Urbanite and Seidio Capsa or Dilex Pro soon.
Otterbox Defender
Ringke Slim
I have the Otterbox on just now.
Hey guys. I just decided to try Nexus 6P. Looking for some great cases to protect it! But also I don't wanna spoil the original look of it since the design's so unique and beautiful!Just got two clear cases for my former Nexus 6 from AMZ and looks wonderful, yet the clear case get darken yellowed after few weeks using, so just share your N6P case experience here and enjoy!
Long response incoming:
I initially bought a official microfibre Adopted case (in carbon) from Google along with my N6P (aluminium). I paid full price for it, but I thought it was worth the premium for an official case and the design was cool and unique. Massively underwhelmed when I received it, because it's nothing more than a generic TPU case with a thin "sticker" of microfibre on the back, which I sensed would be prone to staining and, over time, peeling. The fit was also really tight and button presses weren't that responsive. I decided in the end that the Nexus branding wasn't worth the premium, so I returned it.
I then ordered a charcoal Diztronic case. I've had good experiences with Diztronic in the past, having used their case on my Galaxy Nexus as a daily driver. It was cheaper than the Spigen Rugged Armor and I appreciated the minimalist aesthetic, not being a fan of the faux carbon fibre pattern on the Spigen. The fit and finish was great, and the buttons were clicky and responsive. My only minor niggle was the cutout for the camera sensor wasn't completely accurate, as it cut off part of the circle surrounding the sensor (100% an aesthetic oversight with no impact on function).
I then bought a Speck Candyshell Grip (in white) during the Black Friday sale, when it was 50% off. Definitely my favourite case of the three I've tested so far. It provides the most protection (being a dual-layer silicone and polycarbonate hybrid), looks striking, and, as the name implies, provides a ton of grip.
I've had a Speck Candyshell on my iPod touch and over 4 years later, it's still kept my iPod in perfect condition. The case itself is scratched up and turned a bit off-white, but I haven't exactly been gentle with it (having taken it traveling and camping) so I'm confident in its protective capabilities.
I'll likely be rocking the Speck case as my daily driver for the time being, and I'll only swap back to the Diztronic when I want a more toned-down look and slimmer profile (maybe if I'm at a fancy event wearing slacks).
Finally, I also pre-ordered a white Crash Guard + Project S from Evolutive Labs when they offered 25% off the first 50 pre-orders. IMO this would be the solution to preserving the Nexus's original design and aesthetics, while still providing a lot of protection (if the demo videos are any indication). I have no idea what Project S is, though (hopefully some kind of transparent skin, though they said it wasn't going to be made of the same material as the Rhino Shield).
I have a tempered glass screen protector from intelliARMOR protecting the front (second generation/first revision, the model prior to production of the two distinct "case-friendly" and "edge to edge" versions). It's been fine with both the Diztronic and Speck cases, though I'm curious as to whether the edge-to-edge versions might also be compatible with the Speck and Crash Guard, as there's just 1 mm between the edges of the cases and screen protector, where I find dust and grease can get trapped in between.
If you're looking for clear cases, there're Spigen's Ultra Hybrid and Neo Hybrid EX cases. The Ultra Hybrid is a single-layer case with a clear polycarbonate back framed by TPU along the edges. I wouldn't recommend it personally because I've heard that clear TPU will stain over time (as likely what happened to your original case), and the visor is completely exposed and thus prone to scratches.
The Neo Hybrid EX consists of 2 pieces: a clear TPU shell and a coloured polycarbonate bumper (essentially, the reverse of the Ultra Hybrid). It looks to be the best clear case I've seen in terms of protection (as the visor is actually covered), but I don't know how the clear TPU will fare over time, whether it will also be prone to staining. I'd wait on reviews for this case before ordering, and for it to be listed on Spigen's Amazon store, which will likely be cheaper than buying it off their main website or eBay store.
To be honest it's the first device that I don't have a case for it although I have a tampered glass and a pouch. But I'm waiting for some skins from dbrand and a wooden skin from toastmade.
Tapatalked with my Nexus 6P
I got the carbon cloth backed Nexus 6P case originally and I really like the look and feel of it, but it's not the most protective. The only issue I've had with it is taking screenshots (the case presses buttons you don't mean to) and it wouldn't work with a tempered glass screen protector (it peels it up).
On the black Friday I got the Speck CandyShell in black/slate and I'm digging it. It's more protective and it makes the button presses a little harder, which I like. I would think it'd work with a glass screen protector as the bezels don't intrude onto the glass very much.
I use a Supcase Unicorn Beetle Hybrid as my standard case. I usually slide it in my pants or jacket pocket. I do wish there was a belt clip for the Beetle Hybrid, but to get a belt clip case combo you typically are into something much thicker and substantial that is, for me, unnecessary. When I'm wearing a suit, I use it bare and carry it in a Story Leather belt clip holster made for the iPhone 6s Plus. The phone has a Skinomi Tech Glass protector on it.
My experience mirrors LuckyDragan a little bit.
My first case was the microfiber case from the Google store. While it looked nice and the in hand feel was decent, I felt it cost way too much for what it was. I ended up returning it because when I pressed the edge of the case by the buttons it would change the volume. Not cool for a $35 case.
Next case is the reg. Adopted case. It's not bad. I really like the textured sides. It's also fairly narrow. Thing is, I paid $10 for it, at the reg. price of $20, I'm not sure if it's worth it. By the pics I've seen, I think it looks better than the Diztronic, especially the fingerprint cut out.
3rd case is the Spigen Rugged Armor. Except for the camera cut out (I don't like how it doesn't leave room for the blueish oval), I think it looks the best of all the cases I've tried so far. My nags are that It's all little wide and slippery. At $13.00?, it's a good buy.
4th case is the Speck Grip. My favorite so far. It's not as thin as the other cases but not bulky. The grip is awesome, no problem using the phone with one hand. At first glance, I didn't think it was the best looking case, but it's starting to grow on me. The protection and how it makes the phone so much easier to handle makes it a winner. @ $20 I paid during the Google store's sale, I think it's worth it. @ the reg. price of $40, idk.
If haven't yet, check out Pilz review thread, so much good info.
White Speck case as my daily driver.
I have tried the Diztronic one, while it does provide protection, did not like how loose the edges felt, definitely not as snug and stiff as my Diztronic Ultra that is on my GS6. It easily bent out edges for my taste, and thought of getting some debris that could scratch up the phone was bugging me somewhat. If you need a very minimalist, fingerprint resistant, and decent lip for screen protection, that is the case to have.
Also have the Supcase Unicorn Hybrid Ultra. great case, snug and firmer edges than the Diztronic one, but damn, is that case slippery. I have a habit of placing the phone on my car seat, and that thing just slides around like a hockey puck on ice when placed on its back. Placing it face down did help... still preferred it over the Diztronic.
But snagged the White Speck Candy Shell Grip case at 50% off, love it. Excellent grip, very tight and solid felling edges, does not slide when placed on a my car seat. Wished they offered a matt finish white version of this, since I am not a fan of shiny cases, but the black rubber lines offset it enough to be likable for me. Sporting the Orzly TGSP,with that case there is a minimal space between the glass and the edges of the case, nearly perfect sealed fit. Hoping the intelliglass ones are a bit more of an coverage so that it could have a near gapless glass to case seal, still waiting on receiving mine...
Currently have the Tudia case which is brill, but also got the Spigen rugged case coming.
Official microfiber case in carbon. No screenshot issues or button issues in general. I love the soft fabric feel. Feels more "welcoming" than the cold, hard plastic/TPU of other cases I've used. Regarding durability, I'm a little concerned, but only time will tell how the microfiber will hold up.
Smoked Ringke fusion is my case of choice, at least for now. I also have the Orzly flexicase and Spigen rugged armor. Don't really care for either of those.
Anyone want to trade a case for the spigen rugged armor? mint condition and hasn't been used other than trying it on once.

The Spigen rugged arrived today and it is SOOOO much nicer than the Tudia one. Better fit and feels nicer and more secure.

I've had a few cases so far.
SR Tech - Typical TPU case. Decent protection. Cutouts were slightly off. Total fingerprint/oil magnet. Got real slippery after a week or so of use and required a wipe down. Did not interfere with my Pleson TGSP.
Spigen Rugged Armor - Soft touch finish felt really good in hand. Very good protection at the sacrifice of some added bulk. Cutouts were precise and buttons had a nice tactile feel. Soft touch got some smudges on it occasionally but not nearly as bad as the SR case. Did not interfere with my Pleson TGSP but it was really close.
Spigen Thin Fit - Very interesting finish on this case. Kinda felt like the back of the Nexus 6. Fingerprints weren't really a problem but oil/smudging was. Case snapped on snugly and provided good protection for the covered areas. Top and bottom of the phone were exposed. Did not interfere with my Pleson TGSP.
Nillkin Nature - This is my daily driver. Pretty much the same as the SR Tech, only about half the thickness. Cutouts are more precise and there is a cover for the Type C port, which I really like. This is literally the thinnest case I've ever used and it really helps make the already large 6P more manageable in the hand. I wish it came in a matte finish so oil/fingerprints weren't so much of an issue, but other than that I'm happy.
Adopted for now until bumpers start arriving and be reviewed.

I switch from the official google carbon case and spigen ultra hybrid. They are great cases but the buttons on both aren't the best. I also have speck case but I use it for when I go to the gym. Diztronic case is nice but phone feels loose inside and verus case.. Its whatever.
