I have an HTC touch diamond, and my display is broken (phone is working, and screen also, but it cant sense/ "read" any touch). So i cant calibrate the screen, and because of that i cant do anything, but i really like to get my personal data (contacts, etc. ) from my phone. Are there any solutions to this problem? any software or some way to get back my data via pc?

Hi,
I was stupid enough to try and alter a reg key for the default sip without taking a backup (I know, basic rule number 1). Now the device is stuck at the Vodafone splash screen (before the Windows Mobile spash screen). I can hear the first right sound when I connect it to my computer (not the default USB connection sounds, but the one you get normally when connecting), but it doesn't sync and I can't get into the device via Explorer
I need my contacts (no backup of this either) and my messages. Anyone with good ideas?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
No one?
I did a hard reset, but have managed to restore the cemail.vol and pim.vol.
If anyone has a good idea how to get my messages and contacts back, please post it. I have written what I have tried so far in this thread
Well I have managed to break my touch screen on my 02 XDA Orbit , not a big problem as I have a spare XDA Orbit.
The problem is I need to access to the broken one, the phone powers up into the unlock screen, but I cannot get any further due to the touch screen being dead .
I have loaded mymobiler onto my PC to try to control it through that. The program requires an acknowledgment on the phone so that the application is installed, cannot acknowledge this because of the broken touch screen.
I would like to know if there is anyway of unlocking the touch screen, so that I can control the phone using keys or through mymobiler.
Any help is appreciated, I have used the search engine and google, but cannot find if it is possible.
For what purpose do you want to access the phone?
If you got a spare LCD-Display, just replace the old one and you can acces the device.
Or does your data get lost if you take out the battery?
Another solution for exporting contacts and other data is Jeyo Mobile Companion. So you can save your data and repair the device afterwards.

Thanks for the reply. I have several applications on the phone that I need info from, so that I can register them on the new phone.
I do not want to remove the screen from the working phone just to get at the stuff I need. I might end up with two broken phones
There must be a simple way of deactivating the screen lock feature
Hello people,
Like 2 days ago, i dropped my htc desire hd on the floor and now 70% of the touch screen is not working anymore, but also i cannot enter my code/password and i cannot remove it by email cause i can't enter it. so i find out some "AndroidScreencast" and i tried to set it up but it returned the error: "List of devices attached" but i can't just get in my phone to change settings, because it only recharges the phone if i put it in my computer, i just need to get rid of that password thing and need to be able to let it work with "AndroidScreencast" but i have seriously no idea how i'm gonna do that.
So maybe there's anybody who has an idea?
Kind Regards,
Gm33
Anybody can help?
if it's hardware problem, you better return it or exchange or get a new one.
I just need to get a way to get into my phone, it would be awesome it control it by pc (windows) or being able to connect a keyboard to it, to reset the password thing. anybody?
Please? I really need all my contacts, photos, whatsapp history, anything on it!
Hi folks
I have a HTC Touch Pro, with a dead screen. It simply won't turn on at all, but I can still hear it boot up and answer phonecalls though. There's no led indicator on the keyboard anymore either and neither does it show the charging light. Basicly all lights are off. Even tried hardresetting, but still absolutely nothing is visible
What I'd like to know if it's possible to make a full backup of the phone to the sd card, as I have another working Touch Pro, that I could restore this backup to then. I've tried connecting the phone to the PC via Activesync, but Windows doesn't recognise the "USB device" and hence Activesync won't sync. I was originaly thinking of using MyMobiler to view what was going on on the phone and take a backup from there, but I'm running out of options now
I really hope someone out there could have a solution so I might recover some of the photo's that are still lying on the device.
Thanks for your interest
one of my most used apps is the Fuellog pro.
long story short, my xperia z`s screen cracked and rendered the phone useless. it turns on and everything, but i cannot interface with it due to the digitizer is broken..
the bad thing besides the phone going to **** is that I had some Fuellog data on it that i would love to get out or at least take a look at so i could transfer them to my new phone..
does anybody know where fuellog saves the data? i can connect the phone to my computer and access the filesystem, but i cannot find any obvious places where the fuellog data is located.. hoped i could just copy/paste the folder and export the data that way since i cant access it otherwise..
im open to any ideas, no matter how crazy...
tried to mail the dev twice, but no luck..
