I flashed Bubs battery deluxe and now when I turn on the phone it does the sprint logo then the galaxy s screen then just black. I can boot into clockwork. Is there anything I can flash through clockwork to get me operational again?

You can flash the backup you made just before flashing the ROM.
You can try a data wipe in clockwork. Keep in mind it will wipe your settings and downloaded apps.

I don't have one. Would flashing noobnl's or anyone elses work?
Do you have launcherpro or any other third party launcher? If so, try installing Noobnl's Rom. If that let's start up. Download Home Switcher from the marketplace. Run it and select whatever launcher you are using. Then try installing Bub's rom again.

Thanks. I'm on vacation and only have a Mac with me so I need to get my phone working again.
Thanks for the help I'm operational again. So do I use clockwork to make a backup before I start flashing all kinds of stuff?
I would highly recomment backing up regularly. I know from experience that it can be the only thing that saves you a trip to the store...

never heard of odin (im still kinda new), but have you tried rom manager from the market? thats how i updated my clockwork recovery to 3.0.0.7, the newest one. it upgrades clockworkrecovery, flashes roms, and backups roms, and theres a paid and free version (with ads). thats what i used. tell me if this works.

to fix anything clockwork scroll to the very bottom of the app, then click flash alternate recovery. Then when its done then click all clockworkmod recoveries right below it, then select 3.0.0.5, and that should fix most/all problems with clockwork anyone has, and give you the newest update. and to get to recovery easier just use mikfroyo v4.4 like i am. when you hold the power button just click options under power off, and click recovery, and it'll open clockworkmod.
note: i did this while i wrote it to double check it still works after i updated it.
and this is all done on my htc evo.

Boot into boot loader. Use fastboot to flash a recovery. Reinstall your rom of choice.
Thanks, I was able to get Recovery working again and after trying a few things was able to get back into my ROM, but I'm still not able to flash back and forth different ROMs. Seems my root isn't sticking with this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970237
The root file on there is for ecalir/froyo only. Go into rm>download rom> superuser and download "superuser 2.3.6.3 efgh" and that should work.

did you wipe data(factory reset) before flashing different roms? you have to. you dont need to wipe data only when updating the same rom.
Ahhh, that must be my problem. I got so used to not wiping on MIUI that I assumed I could jump between ROMs without wiping. Thank you and apologies for the remedial posts.

Use a microsd Adapted to copy a rom to the zip. Then flash the rom. Also might want to flash 4ext recovery as alot of roms dont support rom manager to flash them as Rom manager uses a version of CWM that doesnt work well. To be honest not many people even use Rom manager any more.
my phone is in Illinois. And yeah i thought i remembered hearing that noboody uses rom manager but i wants something simple to try and flash a custom rom. Ill try and find my SD adapter and try and flash a rom. Is 4ext recovery kind of like Rom manager?

4ext is a recovery...it is similar to ClockWorkMod, but not to Rom Manager. You will be able to flash a rom, make backups among other things, but there is no app, just gotta boot into recovery manually.

Hello,
I had the official version of ICS on my TF101 (the one with the locked bootloader).
I root, installed rom manager and flash recovery(5.5.0.4) -> backup performed.
Everything was perfect, however I wanted to try CM9 nightly build, I could install it without problem.
The CM9 wifi working on but the rom is not the most stable I wanted to go over the official thanks to my backup.
I ended up with the stock rom official ICS, but not enable the wifi. So I went back on the CM9, and there the WiFi working. I install the Revolution HD and the wifi does not work.
Back on my backup ICS official and still no wifi.
Have you an idea of where this might come?
Thank you in advance.
PS: After the installation of my CM9, my tf101 boot automatically on the recovery, forced to make a cold-booting android to begin.
I think the reboot into recovery thing is a bug that I've read some people have. I personally went back to the Rogue recovery after noticing that 5.5.0.4 didn't have option to access external SD.
Wifi...well...not too sure about that problem. Try to reflash the stock ICS rom back over on top of your backup. CWM is not the most reliable recovery, IMO.
Why don't you try Revolver. I bet that you'd stay on that rom. Oh...and pick up the superwipe lite script from the revolution thread if you haven't already. Good to use when you are swapping roms.
If you are restoring a nandroid, it is normal because nandroid doesn't restore the kernel, so you have to install the rom you want then restore the nandroid.
If you want to use CM9, use the one in my signature. Everything is working.

Well, it supports more keyboard languages than english, so it should work.
If you want to go back to asus based rom, you must wipe, install the rom you want, boot it and then restore nandroid if you have one

What is the problem? Wifi doesn't turn on? your network doesn't show up? you can't connect to your network?
You can always try other roms and see if wifi works. but if you have a dock i recommend to use my CM9 build which has working dock battery
wifi doesn't turn on. Block on "wifi activation..."
Same problem with the Revolver 4
It works with another recovery.
Sorry for my noobness, and thank you for your help.

1) Rom manager is not compatible with Atrix 2. I would not use it. Why do you need it anyway??
You can use Atrix Bootstrapper to go into CWM recovery . Rest can be done there. Or you can use Boot Menu Manager.
2)Of course! it will still be there! the backup is saved on your SD Card. So as long as you don't format your SD Card. It will be there.

Rom Manager does work with Atrix2. If you're on Stock ICS, you can install CWM on every boot, then flash the Bionic recovery through Rom Manager. That will allow you to use the 1 touch backup in RM, just hit backup rom and everything does what it's supposed to.
Here is the CWM on every boot for Stock ICS.

2)will the CWM recovery exist after flashing new rom or i need to install it again??
when i restore to stock fom JB, it means downgrading the firmware right??
so will there be a chance of bricking or is it same to restore anytime from any version??

No, your Recovery will be wiped after you flash a new rom, but you can install it again and restore your ROM.
But when restoring a rom, make sure you ARE ON THE ROM you are restoring.
E.g. If you flash JB and want Stock ICS back with your backup. First flash the Stock ICS from RSD and then restore your backup from CWM on it.
Or Vice-Versa.
@41rw4lk, Thanks for rectifying that. I did not bother with Rom Manager much.

I don't think any recovery exist after flashing a new rom. We have a locked bootloader, so we can't replace the stock recovery.img, all of our recoveries hijack the boot process to work. CM10 and PA I believe have a built in recovery, and that's about as close as you'll get to having a recovery exist after flashing a rom.
As far as restoring from JB, I believe you can downgrade to ICS, but you'll have to look at the JB thread to be certain. I'm on AT&T so I haven't had an opportunity to try JB (officially). CM10 is based on JB, but for our phone with the locked bootloader, it's more of a pseudo experience and is based on our ICS framework.
As for bricking, there is always a chance to brick, that's part of the mod game, but if you read and pay attention to what you have and what you're doing, you'll be alright.

UNLESS you have AT&T phone you should be just fine with ref lashing the ICS.
YES. there is a big problem if you are not on a ROM you are restoring.

Yes. I will say though, if you're on an AT&T branded phone with AT&T firmware, do NOT try to flash the new JB FXZ. It doesn't matter who your carrier is, it matters what firmware your phone is using. So, if you're on AT&T then you need to make sure that the things you flash are for AT&T, or else you will brick and that will be then end of that.

Numa
MIUI (had battery issues, but I think they got it all worked out)
there's a few, you'll just have to look. Most of the time, if something is not meant for AT&T, the devs will post in the description that it isn't compatible. If you want stock ICS back at anytime, you can do yourself a favor and make a backup of your stock ICS all setup the way you like it, so you can restore if needed. If all else fails, there is an Official ICS FXZ that will get you back to stock ICS.

You're killing me smalls. You're on ICS already, you're not downgrading anything, nor can you downgrade ie. Gingerbread. There is no Official JB for AT&T, so that's not an issue. CM10 is a JB based rom built on an ICS frame, (for our phone at least), and again, you're not downgrading.
To make a back up, boot in to CWM or whatever recovery you're using (not stock), and click backup. You might hit up the noob thread to get an idea of the terminology and basics for our device. Not trying to be rude, but you're running yourself in circles. You got to walk before you can run.
