I have a mda compact which when the battery is inserted reads "serial v1:2"
nothing else happens unless the usb cable is conected then the screen changes to "usb 1.2". and the pc says unidentifiable device present and dosen't sync.
any help apriciated ! mda is other wise in as new condition.
The red led iluminating breifly when the usb is conected.
UPDATE
The mda compact was showing no indication of charging with just a red indicator from the led for 2seconds when the charger was pluged in.
When conected to the PC the screen changed from serial to usb, how ever would disconect after a while and was unable to conect to the mda via the usb as not recognised.
After leaving to charge for a night, with no indication of charging, the MDA did not then self disconect from the PC and so the battery must have been flat !
Was then able to down load the "1.13 T-Mobile rom" on to it from the upgrading link and now all is well.
Still don't know why it was stuck in bootloader mode ?
I have HTC 3300 (Artemis).
Suddenly I can't connect via my USB connection. I connect the USB cable, and the charging light start working (so there is a connection), but ActiveSync doesn't respond. I tried to HR the device - but problem doesn't resolve. I tried connect through another computer - nothing.
It seems that the problem is in my PDA, doesn't it? But I can charge it with the USB cable, so there is a connection.
Can someone please help me???

Anyone?
Also would HTC Desire charger work with it? (the sticks looks same - microUSB, but looks like the phone is not charging)
Also if the phone is dead, is there any way i can check if the battery/screen or whatever else is faulty?
When i connect it under Windows with USB cable, it says that the device cannot be recognized and the drivers cannot be installed.
When connected with USB, i did hold the power button to turn it on but it doesnt start and the phone keeps vibrating continuusly.
Look on the back, or inside, even under battery, for more information.
I already know it's Samsung Galaxy Mini II, homever i have issues turning it on.
All microusb chargers are the same except for amperage. Try all you have. This phone is probably terminally damaged, but try a new battery if possible.
It's really strange (the phone was little wet) homever, sometimes it's starting just fine and sometimes wont turn on at all.
I have removed battery and put it to the bowl with a rice for a night and will see if that helps.
My "dampness" recovery is to disassemble and put phone/tab/laptop in in very low oven ie 125-135 degrees F for several hours. You may have ti turn oven on & off manually to get that low temperature. Your mileage may vary.
OK so basically the phone is in following state:
It's charging fine, homever the biggest problem atm is i cannot get the usb mass storage to work.
I'm connecting it to the PC and the phone is detecting it as AC charger not USB - PC is not even trying to install any drivers.
PC is not detecting the phone at all (phone is detecting that its being connected, the button backlights are lighting up)
I got no dropdown in the phone to select charging, mass storage etc. (when i do it in settings/communication/usb settings it keeps saying to connect the usb cable, but the phone is charging so its connected just fine)
When i was connecting it for the first time windows tried to install drivers but failed, also it was constantly disconnecting the phone from usb cable (now its fine it seems)
When i connect it using "Kies Air" it's working homever i still dont see the SD Card in "My Computer" for example.
What a mess, anyway any idea how to get the USB working again?
Try different cable, and/or different PC.
I ordered new usb cable, homever i doubt it's the problem as the phone is recognizing connection and also it's charging fine.
Can anyone tell me if fastcharge when enabled at boot on the N5, fast charges straight away when the USB cable is left plugged in during phone boot up. ie: if you power the phone from off when plugged in to USB, does it fast charge immediately or do you need to unplug and replug the USB cable? I want to buy one to use in a car environment, but don't have access to power button or USB connection....
Many Thanks
James
First of all thanks to all helpers over here
and sorry for my bad english
so its working fine the problem started when i clean install windos 10 pro after that i connect to pc via usb it not
connecting i thought its the drivers problem so i tried these things-
1 update drivers through windows update
2 tried to install drivers by nif (after google)
3 installed MotorolaDeviceManager_2.5.4
4 changing usb ports
But not worked yet evern not showing usb notification after connecting to pc then i reboot my pc to windwos 7 home premium but same problem and tried all same thing.
Then i realise that my phone battey icon shows charging but not charging battery draining slowly so i removed it but battery icon showing it charging even after revoving plug then i turned it
off then againg it showing charging even if it off without any charger then after google i reboot in twrp recovery and started backing up my rom at that time
i connect my wall charger so after some time when backup finished i start my phone then it charging normally but againg when i connect to my pc it again shows me same
problem.
Now the actual problem is whenver i connect to my pc battery icon start showing its charging even after remove usb then after connecting to my wall charger in recovery
mode for about 5-6 mints its working fine.
Thanks to all in advance i hope someone will solve my problem
