did a lot of recent posts get deleted..?? I answered this earlier but my reply is gone..??

Same here. I think xda is having some issues. Some threads in dev aren't current like the miui and king's.

I just want the animated screen of the features. I can live without the Droid sound and that strange eye thing.

I actually use the droid inc animation and sound in my rom.
It's really really easy to change boot animations, just rip it out of whatever rom you want and put it in your own.
In the EVO and INC sense roms the files are in the /system/customize/resource folder and are very obviously named
btw the "screen of features" and "eye thing" are all one animation I believe

Rogers HTC Dream Sounds and Wallpaper

Everyone,
I searched to see if anyone has done this yet, but I have not seen it out there.
I stripped the Rogers image of it's sounds and wallpaper. I personally like them better than the default T-Mobile G1 sounds and wallpaper.
Copy it to your SD card if you want to add it to your G1. I have also included the HTC boot screen animation and sound.
Rogers.zip
Thanks for this!
No problem, doing what little I can to participate.
Thanks for the contribution
Ty very much, I also like these better.
Dream and Hero wallpapers and tones
Anyone know where I can get the original Dream and Hero wallpapers and tones from? I cant find them anywhere. It would be nice to get them collected in some sort of zip like the rogers one posted here.

[request] live wallpaper desire default

i've been using modaco's desire rom since alpha1 was released and i love the stock wallpaper on it. i have really enjoyed using many different LWPs since the nexus was released and i was wondering if anyone has edited the stock desire wallpaper to add a little action to it. nothing too fancy...maybe just the bubbles floating around or something of the sort. i hope i dont get flamed for posting a request, i just thought it would be a cool idea and i have no clue how to create a custom LWP...thought others may be interested in the idea as well.
i included a photo of the desire default wallpaper for anyone who has not seen it yet.

It would be nice for someone to port this to a lwp and post it to the Market for us non-Desire ROM folks.
just stumbled upon this....

it looks like the default desire wallpaper is actually a LWP! i guess we will just have to wait until a complete desire rom is released.

BootAnimation - Looking

Looking for the boot animation that looks the nexus one. It is an x and the colors are all moving and what not. I think it used to be in one of Damages roms, not sure though.
Anyone know what I am talking about? It is a brilliant and very nice Animation.
Thanks for the help!
Check Baked Snack ROM, they have that file of the boot screen your talking about, the x with rainbow colors flashing in from sides forming a X, i had that rom on my EVO 4g for a day and I didn't like it cuz it took too long but now im using DC gl
One of the stickies is a collection of Bootscreens, The one you are asking about is the "Nexus Repacked for G1/G2"

[Request] Droid X Theme

Hey guys I was doing some searching and could not find any Droid X themes for my Incredible. Is there any themes that I'm missing, or better yet someone should make one !
Here's a link to one for the Motorola Droid for CM6, maybe it could get ported?
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/koush/58573-theme-xtheme-droid-x-cyanogenmod-6-a.html
Im still learning how to make themes, but i could try to duplicate this. Maybe bot as good, or not in the timliest of fashions, but i could try for you.
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
The theme I am using is a port from the Droid X. I would love to post the link for you but I am still new here so I cant post links. Check the androidforums website
Android Forums > Android Phones > HTC Incredible > All Things Root (Incredible) > ROMs (Incredible)
The thread is titled:
|THEME| Droid X Notification Bar/Framework, Detox from XDA
I attached some some screenshots of it for you.
LOVE IT!
I actually just edited the theme posted above to include the actual droid x status bar and signal strength images. I just can't figure out how to make the text black. Anyone know the easiest way to do that? I know it has to do with editing the services.jar file, but I don't even know where to begin with that.
Can I apply this over the PMF ROM?
I was gonna start working on one when 2.2 comes out. I wanted to keep sense. One thing that is an issue is I don't know how to change the font color for the ok, cancel, basically any button that has words on it is in black and you cant really see it because the buttons are so dark. I started doing a light weight mod for sense 2.1, but I'm gonna wait for Froyo and nand unlock.
I actually spent several hours over a course of two nights making a full red theme that's largely based on the Droid X's framework, but also includes a fair amount of the Incredible's original theme, only made a matching red. I could upload it, but it still has a couple of minor bugs. Overall, though, it's great. It was made to work with the pre-leaked OTA version.

[REQ] Droid2 Boot Animation/Sound for EVO?

Hey all, Hope everyone is well.
I've been digging around and neither my xda search Foo or Google-Foo have aided me in my search. I'm looking for a ported version of the Droid2 boot animation with sound for my EVO (running Myns Warm 2.2) I've got a feeling this is out there somewhere, I've just yet to find it. Any help would be appreciated guys
~Cheers
Arghh, back to the top with ye!
There's an app on the market called boot animation changer I think its free and you change your boot image with out flashing they have the og droid and droid incredible boot hopes this helps
Sent from my overclocked Cyanogenmod htc evolution 4g sucka
No I think he wants the Droid 2 boot animation....(I currently think that it has been ported to only the nexus one)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojPSQD-uNuQ
I would love the Droid 2 boot animation as well. After reading this post awhile back, I did a wide search myself and only came up with the DroidX boot animation...and I am quite happy. However, if the Droid 2 boot animation gets ported, I'll jump on that one super fast
I found the Droid 2 boot animation for the Nexus One. I took a look inside and found it's not quite the same as our boot animation folders...it looked like there was no sound file, and it's not flashable.
If someone could please port this, and place the "Droid" sound in the proper place that would be out of this world kickass!!!!

I think you would like the droid pro one even better than this 1 but thats all up to what you like check it out http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/96106-droid-pro-boot-animation.html
You are right...the Droid Pro is a HOT boot animation! I would gladly take either one of them. However, I think we are posting these requests in the wrong place. If we asked in the "custom MODS, BOOT ANIMATIONS, SPLASH SCREENS thread....we might get further in our goals of porting these
Shameless bump. Lets get this back to the top.
