Hey everyone just wondering if it would be possible for anyone to theme the genie widget to match the desire rom? Since modaco latest rom coming with this app, it is one of my favorite apps but it sticks out like a sore thumb using it with the Sense UI!
If this would be possible it would be really awesome and maybe modaco could include this version with his rom so everything matches!

I posted this one in the Desire rom thread. Just delete the .zip from it's name. I found this in the G1 forum a couple of months ago. I'm sorry but I can't remeber who posted it there. This one has a transparent background.
Thanks man but doesn't seem to be working, uninstalled the old genie widget but can't install this one even using ADB I get [INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE] Sucks now I am back to no GenieWidget at all lol

Thanks man appreciate it but not exactly what I was looking for LOL What I meant was one that matches the black transparent background of the clock/weather. That does work though, don't want to seem ungrateful just not what I was looking for.

Hey all! First and foremost thanks a lot for the awesome morphs, themes, ports, and apps! You guys are amazing... I got the 2.1 update for my stores droid and the neural network live wallpaper is awesome... any chance of getting it ported folks? Ill donate for a nextheme (green & blue) version... just wonderin and thought id ask. Keep up the good work everyone

No, it seems Motorola made their own custom version. It definitely looks interesting.
I could easily rip it from the official Droid 2.1 update zip, but I don't feel like downloading it, and there could be a chances that it may not function properly, or not be made for our screen size.
Hmm what does this look like?
It is all red cross-hairs that are a lot thinner than the nexus lwp... also they have a fade effect that kinda resembles a comet trail... the background is also different kinda gray fading metallic grating texture. to sum it up its AWESOME. I seen a youtube of it somewheres.

I pushed the wallpaper to my Nexus, but like I predicted - it doesnt work. I pushed the LiveWallpaperPicker.apk, and the LiveWallpapers.apk from the Droid update and it still did not function properly. I'm probably not doing something correctly, or, there is just more that needs to be done.
i used root explorer and tried them both as well as changing permissions ro read/write wich at least replaced the live wallpapers home menu link but thats as far as i got... i noticed theres .odex files and im thinking maybe they need de-odexed... though i dont know and could be wrong as i am not no where near that knowledgeable about porting apps... all i can do is... USE THE SEARCH BUTTON ;-) and fallow directions!

do you have access to the 2.1 droid dump?? it probably needs libs for it to function
I can't remember which Dev did this, but there is a LWP out there that modd the proginal Nexus LWP. Search for the Dev and request it from him. Why port something that can probably be modded from existing work?
Just a suggestion.

Chris Soyars did I believe.
I copied it from other ROMS. I've gotten as far as it being listed with the other live wallpapers, but it continuously force closes.
Does anyone have a link to the Droid 2.1 dump? Ill try to tinker with it.

um... i dont think its the same as the one i got with the official ota 2.1 update... it is totally different from the nexus one aside from the fact that it has cross hairs. i want this so bad in green especially!
I would pick this over the Nexus ... I admitted it, shoot me!
Any progress though as my HTC Desire is very interested in this ...

That video showed a custom exploding Droidlife boot animation but I didn't see the Droid version of the live wallpaper. Have any other links?

Hi there,
I'm the author of Shake Them All, a live wallpaper for N1 and other Android 2.1 phones.
I recently enabled the wallpaper in the market for unofficial 2.1 users, and keep getting bad feedbacks about the app causing FC and freezing on Droid.
So here I am, asking for constructive feedback as I only own a N1, and there's not much I can do to fix this issues without logcats of the FCs.

Youlgi, I just want to say that I love your wallpaper, it is always the first LW that I put on my Droid after a new ROM and I just got the Incredible and it's running even better on that than on the Droid. Very nice work.

I have Evo and it works fine. i have had this wallpaper since you were testing it and LOVE it. no force closes except one time, when i put new skin on
Works fine on my Hero with Fresh 2.0d Rom with live wall paper in HTC Sense. By the way love the lwp.

it does not support live wallpapers
i dont know if this is the right place for this, if not then i'm sorry. i have looked at a lot of threads and thought that i would ask cause i couldn't find one that addressed my phone. i have an epic 4g that is rooted and running Bub's AOSP Magic v 0.4.1 ROM. is there any way to get the nexus one live wallpaper on my epic. i really like this wallpaper. i know there is one in the market but i want the official one. i would greatly appreciate any help with this request

I would actually second this request... I don't like the one in the market, I want the original.
Also, I think this should be in "Epic 4G Themes and Apps" instead of Development but I'm sure someone can move it.

None of the galaxy s have it, must've been one of Sammy's decisions . But I third adding not just the neural network live wallpaper but all the aosp live wallpapers if possible

This is my first thread, but I think it's a pretty badass request.
I am a DIEHARD Myn Warm TwoPointTwo user, and I won't stray...except when I went to MIUI to see what this "whole new" UI was about. I didn't care for it anywhere near as much as Myn's, however the lockscreen is the best one I've seen since OWNING a smart phone.
Other lockscreens work on our EVO....rotory, vanilla, and through an app the iphone. MIUI is already on our EVO, can someone just find the code and bring it to us (JsChiSurf )
I am sure I am not alone on this request...lol, if you ever tried MIUI and came back to a sense ROM you know the lockscreen from MIUI is brilliant and should be available to us all.

Yeah, I forgot about the equalizer part...that was HOT! I also like the charging effects...while charging it has some awesome animation going on.

For those who don't know about this LOCKSCREEN....nandroid backup, and flash MIUI - do some charging and look at the lock screen. Then listen to music and look at the lockscreen. Nandroid restore...and tell me you dont want that lockscreen on your ROM!!
