How can I remove the En on the Sense keyboard? I only have one language selected and its grayed out taking up space. I'd like to remove it or replace it with the Mic icon for voice transcribe.
I'm using a HD2 with Froyo and Sence 1.8

Can anyone post the TOUCH INPUT apk for the froyo.
I'm taking about the one with the arrow cursors at the bottom.
I think the evo keyboard is the only one that has that.

The 2.1 stock keyboard is the one that I want. It also has the cursor keys, but not along the bottom. I updated to FROYO, and am disappointed with the keyboard change. Could you post the stock 2.1 keyboard if you have it?

I don't have it anymore, just do a search on this section of the forums for "stock evo keyboard 2.1 apk" that's how I found it.
But it will give you a FORCE CLOSE if you try to install it on 2.2

Hello there.
Just a quick question about the Desire S's keyboard.
I currently have a Incredible S and it has these 4 arrows at the bottom of the keyboard for moving the cursor through the text etc..
Does the Desire S also has these arrow key's because it has a slightly smaller screen?

i think there is a "arrow" version if u want to install..look around forum..by default comes without arrows on stock kernel
If you install a custom rom eg. LBC by default it comes with the keyboard with the arrows.
Although you can download the add-on separately and install it on any rooted rom (maybe on stock, I haven't done it so I can't give too much advice).
Or sign up for the swype beta. Also has a good cursor board.

I'm having a lot of problems hitting the space button, because I type with my thumbs I can't seem to press it now and again, and I start.typing.like.this.all.through.my.text.messages as I keep pressing . Look up the 3vo keyboard on Google, or the hackers keyboard on the market.
I installed the ics apk, just moved it actually. In language and keyboard in the settings menu, there are two android keyboard options with settings for both.
When I long press on an input field, I get the option to select one android keyboard (ics) or swype.
Is there a way to have both android keyboard options available when we long press on an input field? Thanks.

I would to take the most advantage from what i can get from HTC..
When im switching the local of the OS im getting the appripiate T9 keyboard wheb opening the dialer. But i would like to use the English local, and to get the Hebrew T9 keyboard when opening the dialer (i hope im understood).
Is there a way to enjoy both worlds?
