I was reading through the OTA fiasco thread and noted that there are a good number who have successfully updated, but that there has been no systematic investigation of what might trigger a failure versus a successful update. It may be futile to try, but what the heck?
This survey is only for those who have successfully updated and is intended to perhaps build a small dataset so we can start to see if there's some commonality to the setups that have worked. Please cut and paste the queries below into your response, and thanks! (Also, suggestions for better questions are welcome!).
1.a. Was your phone rooted when you updated? If yes, what method did you use to root?
1.b. If your phone was not rooted at the time of update, had you ever previously rooted your phone? If so, what method did you use to un-root?
1.c. If you have never rooted your phone, was it perfectly stock when you updated?
2.a. Were you running a lag fix when you updated?
2.b. If not, had you ever previously had a lag fix installed?
2.c. If Yes to either question above, which lag fix(es) have you used?
3.a. Did you have a custom ROM or kernel employed when you updated?
3.b. If not, had you installed custom ROMs or kernels previously?
3.c. If Yes to either question above, what ROMs and/or kernels have you installed?
3.d. Regarding 3.c., what method(s) did you use to install/uninstall?
4.a. Did you perform a factory data reset prior to updating?
5.a. Were any "bloatware" apps deleted from your phone at the time you updated?
5.b. If not, had you previously removed "bloatware" and then reinstalled it prior to updating?
5.c. If yes to either of the above, what apps did you delete/restore?
5.d. Regarding 5.c., what method(s) did you use to uninstall and/or reinstall?
6.a. Was your GPS "working" prior to the update? If yes, explain generally what you mean by "working." (i.e. "I got lock in under 15 seconds on 7 sats with 20meter accuracy")
6.b. If your GPS was working prior to the update, had you applied any unofficial GPS fixes on your own? If yes, what had you tried?
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see.
7.a. Did you take any additional steps to attempt to return your phone to stock prior to updating?
Thanks all!
1.a. Was your phone rooted when you updated? If yes, what method did you use to root?
Yes
Not sure the thread it came from. Found in wiki sticky. Phone only method.
2.a. Were you running a lag fix when you updated?
No
2.b. If not, had you ever previously had a lag fix installed?
No
3.a. Did you have a custom ROM or kernel employed when you updated?
No
3.b. If not, had you installed custom ROMs or kernels previously?
No
4.a. Did you perform a factory data reset prior to updating?
Yes, the day before.
5.a. Were any "bloatware" apps deleted from your phone at the time you updated?
Edit: sorry read question wrong.
No, they all there. I had installed quick office from maket. Then deleted it after reading that update installed it.
6.a. Was your GPS "working" prior to the update?
Not good, never ran gps test before update, but got 1500 m accuracy in maps. Or when it did lock on me in a field, it said I was 100+ m from were I really was.
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see.
Yes. I now get generally n-1 out of n satts. Locks in about 10 seconds. Loses me going under over passes and through mix masters. Takes about 20 -30 second to get a fix on me again. Standing still on my porch with no roof overhang, maps will jump me around as accuracy in gps test will go from 8 to 60 ft.
7.a. Did you take any additional steps to attempt to return your phone to stock prior to updating?
I deleted the update.zip off my phone root and copied it to directory folder. Reset the day before and hadn't enabled side loading again yet.
I kept my phone pretty stock to not have problems with supposed updates to come to us.
Took about 3 mins to dl on 3g, about 3 mins to update. Hung on 50 and 92 for about 10 to 20 seconds.
Thanks all!
No problem. Hope this helps
From a phone on an app
Phone was rooted 2 months ago with first post using update.zip (all at&t apps were removed, and I enabled sideloading using firefox sql lite) there are easier ways to do that now...
phone was rooted again installing unleash the beast
then installed a lag fix...ryanza's updated OCLF to be exact (installed it over the first version)
ext2 tools are installed
have a 1 gig partition configured
altered minifree set to strict (in the updated version to make the phone do what task killer does)
changed scheduler to deadline
gps was terrible
yes i altered the settings following another xda-posted topic
gps still terrible
after the update failed, i really didn't care and just forgot about it
rebooted the phone several times playing with the OCLF settings
i noticed the at&t name come up from a reboot
tested the gps right away
it pinpointed me to withing 10meters and all the way down to what part of my house i was in (FINALLY!!!)
i didn't nothing prior to updating
not trying to scare you but after updateing i somehow un-rooted my phone while dozing off...the phone was bricked...
i never removed the update.zip from unleash the beast...i reinstalled it and my phone came back to life and my gps is still working like its suppose to.

Never
1.c. If you have never rooted your phone, was it perfectly stock when you updated?
I did mess around with GPS settings before update
2.a. Were you running a lag fix when you updated?
No
2.b. If not, had you ever previously had a lag fix installed?
No
3.a. Did you have a custom ROM or kernel employed when you updated?

No
6.a. Was your GPS "working" prior to the update? If yes, explain generally what you mean by "working." (i.e. "I got lock in under 15 seconds on 7 sats with 20meter accuracy")
No. Used to take approx 2-3 min to lock.
6.b. If your GPS was working prior to the update, had you applied any unofficial GPS fixes on your own? If yes, what had you tried?
I did update settings as suggested in forum which increased performance marginally.
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see.
No. Still takes about 2 min to lock. As a side note, it seems that most users here who had messed with the GPS settings before the update are not getting optimal GPS performance after the update (This is true even if they change the GPS settings to stock original that shipped with the update).
7.a. Did you take any additional steps to attempt to return your phone to stock prior to updating?
No

Are you saying you didn't successfully update?
Please don't add answers if you got an 'update failed' message. We're trying to find some commonality among the people who managed to update successfully.

Everything, but it didn't really matter.
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see.
Seems like it did because I got a lock IN MY HOUSE for the first time, but I still don't think it works as it should because that's not repeatable.

No
1.a. Was your phone rooted when you updated? If yes, what method did you use to root?

Yes, a lock in about 10 minutes, 4-7 satellites, about 32.8 feet accuracy, but tracking and holding locks were always terrible, especially at changes in direction and speed.
6.b. If your GPS was working prior to the update, had you applied any unofficial GPS fixes on your own? If yes, what had you tried?
I changed the supl and socket to Google's
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see.
Yes, most locks under a minute with 5+ sats and 16 foot accuracy, and tracking and holding locks is very much improved.

Hi, new guy here.
1.a. Was your phone rooted when you updated? If yes, what method did you use to root? (No)
1.b. If your phone was not rooted at the time of update, had you ever previously rooted your phone? If so, what method did you use to un-root? (Yes, I used the one-click root/unroot found in the development section, which I also used to unroot.)
1.c. If you have never rooted your phone, was it perfectly stock when you updated? (Not applicable, although while I'm sort of on stock, I do use LauncherPro)
2.a. Were you running a lag fix when you updated? (No)
2.b. If not, had you ever previously had a lag fix installed? (No)
2.c. If Yes to either question above, which lag fix(es) have you used? (Not applicable)
3.a. Did you have a custom ROM or kernel employed when you updated? (No)
3.b. If not, had you installed custom ROMs or kernels previously? (No)
3.c. If Yes to either question above, what ROMs and/or kernels have you installed? (Not applicable)

5.a. Were any "bloatware" apps deleted from your phone at the time you updated? (No)
5.b. If not, had you previously removed "bloatware" and then reinstalled it prior to updating? (No, not for a lack of trying I think I did it wrong and it reset my phone, I sort of had a diminished spirit after that but I plan on trying again after 2.2 comes out.)
5.c. If yes to either of the above, what apps did you delete/restore? (Not applicable)
5.d. Regarding 5.c., what method(s) did you use to uninstall and/or reinstall? (Not applicable)
6.a. Was your GPS "working" prior to the update? If yes, explain generally what you mean by "working." (i.e. "I got lock in under 15 seconds on 7 sats with 20meter accuracy") (No, it was not working, and even with the GPS improvements it wasn't really working and would take forever to get a lock.)
6.b. If your GPS was working prior to the update, had you applied any unofficial GPS fixes on your own? If yes, what had you tried? (I used the supl.google.com with skyhook on, accuracy set at 50, and the port was set to 7276 I believe.)
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see. (No, I honestly don't see any changes and apparently I'm in the group of people who tried to fix GPS by themselves and AT&T shunned us. Awesome.)
7.a. Did you take any additional steps to attempt to return your phone to stock prior to updating? (Yes, I unrooted my phone just in case.)
I forgot to add that I had a 100% successful update. No failing or anything.
Completely factory stock, gps is now usable outdoors where it was once useless.

titanium backup
6.a. Was your GPS "working" prior to the update? If yes, explain generally what you mean by "working." (i.e. "I got lock in under 15 seconds on 7 sats with 20meter accuracy")
gps worked fairly well lock time was 1 to 2 min would lock 5 of 6 sats but that would very between 2 and 5 it would not hold 5 locked solid. accuracy was like 10 to 20 meters
6.b. If your GPS was working prior to the update, had you applied any unofficial GPS fixes on your own? If yes, what had you tried?
yes,
SUPL/CP Settings/SErver FQDN Type/Custom Config

SUPL/CP Settings/Port/7276
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see.
yes , lock time 10 sec or less can get lock outside and go in house and it will track me through house accuracy 5 meters or less at times, gps test locks 9 of 11 sats and holds them strong used google nav on the way home today killed all apps started driving and opened navigater wile moving took like 1 min to lock and tracked dead on for 10 miles through city before update i would never get lock wile moving
i changed the supl settings to auto config after update to get these results
7.a. Did you take any additional steps to attempt to return your phone to stock prior to updating?
no
Thanks to everyone who has answered so far! If you're reading this and had a successful update but haven't contributed yet, please do so! I doubt that AT&T or Samsung knows the history or state of your phone, so this kind of voluntary information-sharing can be very helpful to everyone. Thanks again!

Could you clarify? I'm not sure what post-update battery performance has to do with the state of your phone prior to the update... I'd like to hear your thoughts if you think it's important. Thanks.

I performed the drain battery down to nothing, charge off a few times when I first got the phone. Battery life was around 25+ hours after that with a normal days use. I'll know more if the update affected the life of the battery after a few days of course. I did see another thread after I posted on this one regarding the battery life so I posted there as well.
Suppose I'll contribute as well:
1.a. Was your phone rooted when you updated? If yes, what method did you use to root?
No
1.b. If your phone was not rooted at the time of update, had you ever previously rooted your phone? If so, what method did you use to un-root?
N
1.c. If you have never rooted your phone, was it perfectly stock when you updated?
Few misc apps added but no lag fix, root, etc...
2.a. Were you running a lag fix when you updated?
No

Tried the suppl.google fix, seemed to improve performance but not much.
6.c. Regardless of whether the GPS was working for you or not, did the update improve your GPS performance? If yes, please explain generally what improvements you see.
I believe it did. I turned my GPS on last night in the car, launched Navigation and tripped my way home perfectly. The phone NEVER got a lock before when I was moving. Had to sit around for a few minutes before it would even start up.
7.a. Did you take any additional steps to attempt to return your phone to stock prior to updating?
None, waited till around 8PM last night and it downloaded, installed and reported "Phone has been updated". I did reboot twice before I attempted to use the GPS.
It's interesting that none of the respondents thus far have ever installed a custom ROM or kernel.
But our sample size is still pitifully small, so please answer the survey if you haven't yet! In particular, if you had installed custom ROMs or kernels at some prior point and managed to update successfully, we need to hear from you!

Hey guys,
Any suggestions on what to look into for fixing the GPS functionality on my VZW Touch Pro? I'm running the latest NFSFAN ROM. It shows no satellites in GPS Viewer, even after 20 minutes of standing outside with a clear view. I've tried turning aGPS on and off, flashed different radios, as well as tweaking the registry for QuickGPS (changed the servers from where QuickGPS fetches the latest data, and yes I know QuickGPS is irrelevant if aGPS is turned on ).
I've been Googling on this for the past couple of days and tried variations of everything I've read about. Any recent/relevant suggestions would be great Thank you!

Hmm, not familiar with it? Is it the one they released last fall to unlock the GPS? I'm about to Google for it and read up, but is it something I need to install on a stock ROM? I'm running NFSFAN right now.
OK, so I've dug around the forums and have yet to really find anyone who had a similar issue and wasn't able to fix it with either FasterFix or GPSStatus so thought I'd start a new thread. If anyone knows this answer and knows it's in another thread then let me know and I'll shut this one down...
Anyways, the issue in a nutshell is that Maps refuses to work without "Wireless Networks" being checked (it throws up an error that tells me to turn on My Locations or to turn on either "Wireless Networks" or "GPS satellites" even though GPS sats is checked in the settings) and even then the accuracy is horrible (on tower-based, which is more or less to be expected since it's a triangulation, I believe), Navigation/Locations will both get a location but it appears to be "Wireless Network" based, GPSStatus shows a max of only 3/3 sats even outside on a clear day but no other app sees those even those 3 sats. I basically think my GPS chip is locked up. (Is that even possible?)
The GPS issues started one night on CoreDroid's V5.0 after working for quite some time on CD's various builds, including working on 5.0, so I flashed up to 5.1 and still no-go. Wiped everything, reflashed 5.1 and still nothing. Moved over to RCMixHD 5.9 and it still acts up. It used to be that I could uncheck "Wireless Networks" and it would just bounce off of the GPS sats but now nothing seems to see the chip. I've wiped everything, reflashed numerous times, flashed a new radio (the latest Mar leaked GB radio), gone inside, outside, around the house, around the town, etc etc etc, cleared the Maps cache, uninstalled/reinstalled Maps, reinstalled Locations several times, reset the GPS state with GPS Status, redownloaded the GPS data w/ GPS Status, changed out the gps.spade.so file in CoreDroid 5.0/1 with one from the Inspire Dev Forum (I think, may have been General) that modded files based off of FasterFix files that were supposed to fix the GPS if FasterFix doesnt (the files worked for a whole one test...then everything quit working right again) and I've reset the NTP to North America's server via FasterFix and STILL nothing. I'm getting rather frustrated at this point and any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!
How about flashing back to stock Rom?
Sent from my calculator
What would the advantage be? I mean I've already flashed different ROMs and gotten the same issue so part of me doesn't care to flash another couple of times but another part of me wonders why it'd help any since it's just going to be overwritten when I flash back to RC or any other custom. Will flashing to stock somehow reset the GPS. I know flashing to stock is generally one of the first suggestions but I've always wondered how it actually helps. Guess I'm off to hunt down the stock on my computer while I wonder lol...thanks
Did you use RUU to get back to stock Rom and radio? RUU does more than just flash the Rom. It flashes the radio to stock. Only reason I'm saying this is cause someone else had Gps issues and when they went to stock unrooted, everything worked as it should.

Do a forum search for inspire RUU. Should come up.

Awesome, thanks. I was unaware that the Inspire had an RUU. Well, most RUU's I've run across have been packaged into a program like ODIN but I think I can do the RUU manually via ADB. Hopefully they have a program out, though. Think all my stock stuff has been done via ADB and the Hack Kit so I'll dig around for an all-in-one program. Thanks!
Sadness...no such luck even on RUU stock.
Just curious, what method did you use to do this?
Is this the same one you used?

I have been having similar GPS issues on my stock Inspire. After a long HTC customer service call, I was advised to do a factory reset on the phone. Voila, the problem appears to be solved. I now get 8 or 9 satellites and lock in about 30 seconds. Also, after this reset, my battery life is much better. So, I am not sure what bug I eliminated in the factory reset, but I accomplished something. What would affect both battery and GPS? I know this is not the same as for a rooted phone, but perhaps there is some connection. By the way, just what SNR do users with solid GPS performance get on GPS Test? I never get SNR over 25 on any satellite, whether indoors or out...
HtcOmega,
I helped another person with an inspire, so maybe it might work for you too, Try the link in my sig and see if replacing the gps.conf with one of mine may help you. It has been very successful so far, it might help with your dilema as well. And if your going to ask whats different about mine then fasterfix app, the answer is alot.
Let me know.

I was having the same issue as HtcOmega and decided check out your link. I must say that my GPS is working as it should now. Takes at most 30 seconds for a lock without the case on. I flashed the north america zip instead of choosing the north east version. Is there any reason why you wanted people to choose their specific region?
Primarily the reason is I broke up the USA into 6 regions and made a script for 62+ individual countries because I am not using the generic ntp servers from the pool, these are ntp servers specifically for that location, and by narrowing down the location and not using a general ntp it should make lock times faster. If you read the thread for the most part quick reading you will see that the NA script is made primarily for people who travel to many places frequently and do not want to keep changing scripts, as well as people in the common wealth countries would use the NA script.
I am currently testing out 1.2 with a handful of beta testers to see if the new script can be a little more consistent, there are new commands in the new script, which is phase one at least for the HD2 since the HD2 is a prt and lacks the support for true agps.
I have a TF101 with dock, serial number C10 US, stock, not rooted. I did the OTA update to ICS two nights ago. I did not check GPS then. I just did a factory reset and after getting everything set up again I fired up Google Maps and tried to have it get my location. It could not. I installed GPS Test and it showed 0 satellites. I know that GPS was working on HC. Has anyone seen this issue? I think it is some configuration issue rather than weak GPS because I get 0 satellites so it seems like GPS is off. I checked that GPS was on in settings and it was and I toggled it on and off a few times. Wifi assist does work for location but GPS should work on its own. Anyone having this issue or know what I can do? Thanks in advance for your help.

Does that mean you did a factory reset and then restored all your apps and crap from HC?
Anyway, I just downloaded GPS Test and tried it. Works for me.
No I restored from the market and my Google account.
The backup system Google provides doesn't keep the apps individual settings. Those are lost the next time you restore them. The apps installed via Market is saved though and they get installed again.

The issue isn't really about settings of the apps. Most people use default settings anyway.
It's about the incompatibility of the app itself with ICS, which could be causing problems like rebooting, glitching sleep mode, preventing other apps from accessing GPS, and etc.
You should not be restoring every apps you had from honeycomb, especially if you are having problems.
After my update to ICS I tested the GPS with GPS test and it could see satellites biut didn't connect to them. It took several times clearing everything out and eventually it picked and locked on roughly 7-8 satellites and has been working since then.
But it was really slow initially and I didn't have any issues at all with HC.
You may want to edit your GPS.conf file. There are some GPS tweaks for android that I have found to be helpful. You can also download the faster fix app from the market and see if you have any luck.

Thanks randolphism for the helpful post, I will try.
I tested the GPS before I re-installed my apps and it still didn't work. I am not going to run without apps, the whole point of the device is to have apps. There is no evidence that this has anything to do with incompatible apps. The ICS OTA upgrade said it was converting apps to be compatible anyway.
Your advice may be relevant here, but again, your verbal abuse is unwarranted, if I were a mod you'd be on a vacation by now for foul language and disrespecting others. Officially blocking you now..

Hi everyone,
Running a galaxy sII lte, rooted on official 4.0.4 and my carrier is Rogers. I believe this is the same phone a the skyrocket so I hope I'm in the right forum.
I have a problem with the GPS on my device, or maybe the option is not available on my device I don't know. I did some research about it but still couldn't address this problem. I turn on my GPS signal and it tries to locate me for hours never actually pinning me anywhere on the map. Now I don't have a data connection, but the maps are all cached to my phone, it's the pinning that doesn't work for me. My question is, is my phone capable of doing this without a data connection? If not, what makes an iPhone different that it can do this? Why even have a GPS toggle if I'm getting limited through data?
Thanks in advance!
First off, let me say welcome to xda! Also yes u are in the right section.
Secondly, look for the "agps fix.". It will address the issue with non-locking. With it, I went from 20 seconds to 3.
If that doesn't work look for the galaxy nexus GPS fix, its pretty much the same as agps, which I recommend u try first.
Lastly, caching of Google maps is frankly, [email protected] U need a data connection to use them. For offline GPS, theres really only one app capable, sygic. Look for it in the play store. I have no experience with it so I can't comment on its effectiveness.
If I helped hit the thanks button
Hi!
I totally agree with Icenight89. I also have the Rogers' Skyrocket (the model number is SGH-i727R; you can verify this under the battery inside the phone), and I got problem with GPS position locking. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to lock my position; after I applied the fix, locking takes seconds.
Google Maps needs an active data connection -- be it WiFi or a data plan from Rogers -- in order to guide you through the maps. Caching just takes an instant of the map/area you want, and allows you to view it while you are offline. Without a data connection, though, you won't be able to, say, search for a specific address, look for restaurant/gas station/touristic attraction or get directions. If that is what you are looking for, you might be interested in another GPS navigation app.

Thanks guys, the patch worked wonders!
I wonder if there is a fix for those that don't root, because doesn't that take away one of the key functionalities of the phone? Was this addressed in jelly bean?
It looks like the GPS is working wonderfully for some people, but awfully for others. I had no problem with the GPS when I was on stock Gingerbread. I did not stay long enough on stock ICS to tell if the problem started when I upgraded, I went pretty quick to CM9 nightly, and I had the GPS to work not so good. Applying this patch was like night and day, now the GPS is working great.
So no, I'm not sure that this patch will make its way into a stable ROM -- in your case, Rogers' stock ROM. You may want to take a look at Rogers Community Forum and ask if someone had problem with the GPS. If a lot of people report GPS malfunction to Rogers, Rogers might consider patching its ROM.
And about your other question: I don't think there is a way to patch the GPS on an unrooted phone. This patch write/replace a system file, which means you have to have root access to apply the modifications.

Technically u don't need a rooted phone, merely a custom recovery on Samsung based devices, which u can flash via Odin, and reflash stock after but yes, in principle u are correct. U cannot use it with a non-stock phone

Hey guys is me again lol. I just flashed the newest SynergyROM update ( 1.7 ) and my gps doesnt show me at the correct location. It keeps moving around my area, mostly 3 to 4 blocks away from me. i didnt mind that however when i go on navigation, the directions are incorrect due to the location being wrong. Is there a fix for this? I did a full wipe before installing just like instruction on the thread and i installed it after going back to stock and rooting.

i did check it and tried going to stock and then back to synergy and still same issue.
Edit: I just started reading many of the comments and i guess i will wait for the next update. Battery life is too good to quit the rom.
Thanks for the reply
From what I read about it, and I've been following the thread because I use Synergy, its possible that it is a hardware issue. Or its possible that you need to Odin back to stock and start over. I've been flashing and reflashing Synergy since 1.0 (or maybe it was 1.1) and haven't had much in the way of issues, GPS works fine.
I'm on one of the nightlies right now, have you tried using the current nightly? Not sure what else I can suggest, I'm pretty new to it all really.
hope this gets fixed
If you flash back to stock does GPS work fine
Ive seen a few posts that gps doesnt work and they have been told flash back then flash rom, but my question is when back to stock does gps work then? if not maybe its the phone its self
I have not had any problems even VZW can find me if i turn gps off

This may not the best route, but it has worked for me so far:
I'm also on v1.7 (Odined back to stock unrooted; rooted via GS3_debugfs-root_r2; CWM 6.0.1.0; clean v1.7 install with data/cache/dalvik wipes) and this is what I did when I initially flashed and noticed GPS locking issues:
1. Toggled GPS
2. Went outside & launched GPS Test
3. Updated AGPS
4. Once the "In Use" # of satellites in GPS Test showed 2 or more I launched Google maps and got an immediate lock.
Since the initial flashing of v1.7 when I have GPS locking issues:
1. Toggle GPS
2. Go outside and launch GPS Test.
3. Once the "In Use" # of satellites in GPS Test show 2 or more I launch Google maps. I usually then get an immediate lock. I also verify with Waze.
I noticed that if I keep GPS on, then I don't have to launch GPS Test to get a lock. However, if I turn GPS off and toggle it back on right before I need it, my GPS lock takes longer. If I'm waiting past 30 secs for a lock, I just launch GPS Test and wait for the "In Use" number to populate before going back to Maps or Waze
Is your Wifi on? Sounds strange but the same thing was happening to me and it said turn the Wifi on and I locked in after being 3 blocks off

I actually got my gps problem fixed. I odin back to root66 and did a factory reset there and ran maps, the gps was working fine. Then i upgraded to the newest synergy and gps is working fine as well. I did a full wipe before going to synergy.
