Yes, it is. Use it as a mass storage device.
Next time, post in the Q & A section.

Any way you could provide what you did when you figured it out?
It's a pet peeve of mind when threads go dead with no explanation to the solution.

Im sure you all own the original cartridge version of the roms that you are downloading
Roms can be found in lots of places. Websites usually don't carry the main titles because their respective copyright holders requested that they be yanked, 4shared, torrents, and other similar methods are great ways to get a digital copy of games you already own. Alot of games come zipped. The SNES emulator I use requires that it be unzipped resulting in a .smc file extension, otherwise the aforementioned error about content not being supported will come up.

Well the guy in this post told me to put it in mass storage mode so that's what I did. I already have plenty of roms for snes from playing emulators on my iphone. I connected my phone to my computer. Went to my computer and then went to my phone after I connected it and just dragged and dropped my roms into my SD folder.
I don't think it really matters what folder you put them in.
Unplugged my phone loaded my emulater searched for my roms with the emulator and started playing

I have Sims 3 running perfectly on my Tab, however it was a pain in the ass.
I also have a Nexus One which WILL run the game so I took the downloaded files from it's install of Sims 3, and simply placed them onto my Internal SD card for the Tab. The game only checks what unit you're running when it downloads - if it finds the necessary files it boots right up.
****ing retarded, I know.
So long story short, you need to find a zip of the game's data files. I can't openly say where you should find yours, but I guarantee it's *not* here.

I don't see why you can't upload them here, you still need to buy the app to play the game, so it's not warez.

Before everyone starts saying search for what MIUI is I know what it is, not asking if anyone's heard of it or what it is!!! Just curious if anyone else got the pm.

There have been test builds floating around - MikeyMike01 built one. However they had a lot of weird issues in addition to the known ones with the CM7 base, like external SD not working.
I'm running the latest miui build right now and it can be a daily driver if you don't need the external.

He or she actually sent me links to both a CM7 and Miui rom zips. Haven't bothered to download them as I'm nervous what is actually in them haha. I don't need any viruses on my computer.
Note:
I'm posting the links he sent to me. I'm posting these for anyone who is brave enough to download and see what they are. I ASSUME NO LIABILITY TO ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE OR COMPUTER IF YOU DOWNLOAD EITHER OF THIS FILES. I'VE NEVER TALKED TO THIS GUY AND HAVE NO IDEA WHO HE IS AND IF THESE ARE LEGIT DOWNLOADS OF SAID ROMS. On that note here are the links. PEOPLE BEWARE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS CONTAINED IN THESE FILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LINKS REMOVED TEMPORARILY UNTIL I TALK TO NEO
Ok, I went through the files in the zip and I can verify this is legit. I went ahead and installed it.
YOU MUST DO A FULL WIPE OF YOUR PHONE FOR THIS TO WORK PROPERLY
If you do not most apps will not work and you'll receive countless force closes
Also data is disabled by default, you must enable to use 3G.
Follow the cm7 instructions and then flash this over top of that.
To reiterate what OP said, you are flashing this on your own, there is no support for it, so please know ahead of time what you are doing.
yes they work. both CM7 and MIUI are legit adn are working as daily drivers with some broken things. i personly had them installed about 2 weeks ago for CM7 and about 5 days for MIUI. they are works in progress.

Here's most of the 'oid emulators in case anyone's searching, they've been modded to show up in the Xperia Play launcher. These have been floating around the Play forum for years.
http://www14.zippyshare.com/v/65637227/file.html
Thank you legion. I still have these but I'll l upload to Mother place as a backup in case others want these as well
Also I believe I still have the Sega genesis and master system and the atarioid (2600) still floats around as well. I'll see if I can find them if people want them.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Edit - I scoured all my cloud storage sites, saved emails, and other drives to find these, I know there are duplicates. As I dont have my XPlay at the moment (nephew is using it on a road trip) can someone try these out and let me know which ones are the Yongh's Modified to show in the XP launcher.. thank you.
Link:
http://d-h.st/users/jgregoryj1/?fld_id=9659#files
And of course if any listed are not free and I am breaking the rules please let me know, I think these are all the freebies anyway, but I have litereally had these for over two years. Also, I have misplaced a few of the other emu's by Yongh, such as Atarioid and whatnot.. perhaps if someone has these we can make a complete backup for posterity as these were modded by a user here to show in teh XP games launcher.
@ozzmanj1 I tested your apps and some are modified to appear in the xperia play launcher and others are not (gbcoid is not). Legion's apks are not modified.
Anyway, I found in my archive the modded apks for all the oid emulators including ataroid, gearoid and the needed bios for gameboid (gbadvance). I share them all in a non-flashable zip file. I tested all of them and they are launcher-optimized
There is also a MAME emulator which is not modified, but I share it anyway cause I found it here at xda with the oids. If someone can modify it please do it
Finally I got the n64oid but don't remember if it was free or not. If it is free now I'll upload if people wants it
Please tell me if some file is restricted to share for whaterver reasons and I'll take it down.

I believe the n64oid is a a paid app. At least according to the SlideMe website where the dev, has it listed at $5
I am stumped as I made a complete backup of all the modified for the XP ;launcher emus some 2 years ago but for the life of me cannot find where the heck I placed them. It must have been like - emus.... perhaps I backed them up onto one of my old hard drives... I'll have to look around some more.

Well I had them in my sdcard since they only are like 10mb heavy
Maybe you'll find them easier by searching 2 year old files, setting last modified date approximately 1st january/2012 or whatever you consider it right, as a parameter to filter search. The bad thing about this is that you'll have to search the entire drive if you don't remember what folder problably you placed them and it would take way long.... When I search for a file with very specific parameters (because I can't recall the name of the file) in my 1tb external drive it lasts 4 or 5 hours at least....
So, good luck
PD: is there some emulator missing that I didn't update in adition to n64oid? I'm just wondering why you continue searching if there are all of them available

I just went back and looked and most of the apks I uploaded are the Xperia Play modified versions. The only ones that aren't are GBCoid and Gensoid for some reason, I must have included those by accident back in the day. Thanks for helping out btw!
Also, if guys find any freeware emu's that need to be added the the launcher let me know and I can easily mod them for you again if we're missing any.

GBCoid
Gearoid
Gensoid
Nesoid
Snesoid

I've been doing some searching and haven't really found a good app and I'm trying to see if anyone has any advice. I have a decent amount of music in iTunes that i want to transfer to android so I dont lose it or have it just sit there. You guys know of any good programs for that, that aren't going to lose any of the bit rates between the transfer or won't give me many problems during the transfer?

You can't just export your songs from itunes? Oh my, it must be some crazy totalitarian facist regime running the fruit phones. Try this:
First you will have to burn your music to cd as drm-free files then rip them off of the cds but change i tunes ripping settings (edit> preferences> advanced tab> importing tab> import using: mp3 encoder.
This is the only way I know of. I even read around and this was all I could find. You might be best to only copy your hard to find stuff then download the rest through torrents.
Please hit Thanks if I have helped. I'm trying to get rid of my junior member stigma.

Do you own an ipod? If so, put the music on there, then open up explorer and browse to the ipod, the music is in folders there, though the ID3 tags and filenames are a mess. (random letters and numbers). There are also prpgrams to get the music off an ipod with the correct names, you'll have to google those as I can't remember the names.

Sorry, not trying to advocate piracy, I was unaware of the rule. Did you know that by copying your music from itunes to another device you are pirating that music even though you have paid for it. Doesn't seem to make much sense to me, but Apple's gots to have control I guess.

Thank you! Now there is an efficient post: a direct reference that will save time (and helps me a lot). Too many posts without references lead to unnecessarily long threads that take far more time to parse for a solution than they should!
I'm not resurrecting a post, because I am looking at this problem now.
